1 All greyhounds adopted from GAP are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and health checked. During the foster process, they quickly and easily make the transition from being a racing animal to pet. Due to the stringent nature of the GAP assessment processes, the Victorian government legislates that greyhounds successfully passing through GAP do not have to be muzzled in public. The following greyhounds are all best suited to children 6 years and over and prefer the company of another dog. (YELLOW GROUP) Please note: There are no cat tolerant greyhounds available today. The greyhounds in attendance today will go to the first suitable family. Jasper Age: 4 years old (whelped 02 Sep 2012) Racing Name: RYLEE'S RING IN Microchip: Who couldn't resist this gorgeous face?! Jasper is a gorgeous houndie inside & out! He is a standout & and he can walk up and down stairs easily, so there are two things the new owner doesn't have to teach him. However, the new owner will have to continue his manners, obedience & socialisation with other dogs. Jasper could see himself living with another Greyhound, perhaps one that doesn't mind sharing toys as Jasper's favourite pastime is running around the yard with a squeaky toy in his mouth doing zoomies! Yippee! Jasper has only three toes on one of his back feet, but that doesn't affect him much at all, he still loves doing his zoomies and going for walks without any problems. Jasper is NOT cat friendly. Ruby Age: 3 years old (whelped 10 Mar 2014) Racing Name: RUBY CAIRO Microchip: Meet Miss Ruby! Isn t she just gorgeous? Ruby is one cracker of a girl, she is super affectionate, great with other doggies and to top it all off, she LOVES camping! But wait, there s more, she walks like a champ on lead, she likes watching football games, and has lived as a pet for the past 6 months. How great is that? Ruby thinks it should be amazing to live in a home with or without another super fun canine buddy and little humans over the age of 5 years old. Ruby has not yet been tested with cats. 2 Stevie Wonder Age: 2 years old (whelped 10 Feb 2015) Microchip: Stevie Wonder is in the HOUSE! YAY! But we must say that our Stevie Wonder is no musician. If we could describe our boy it would be a class clown. This silly sausage will have the new owners in hysterics everyday with his daily antics and funny personality. He is looking for that family who can put some further training into him, take him on daily walks or better yet, include him in all that they do. He may suit best with a canine pal to play with and burn his energy out of him or alternatively someone that is home most of the day who can shower him with the love that he craves. Ferrari has a huge lust for life and nothing stands in the way of his happiness. He loves to play in his water pool and always checks to see if you are watching him be adorable.
