2 Run: 2363 Date: 25 May 2017 Venue: Bee Gallery Bunny: Pole Dancer GM s Run Notes Bee Gallery and D juice are in one and the same place...the Hawker centre in Jalan Kebun Bunga (Waterfall Rd as we used to know it.) It is a popular place with hikers, bikers and hashers. This week there were two Chapters meeting there with both the FTAC and Harriets deciding, independently, to choose the venue as their runsite. That meant parking was a bit limited but somehow or other all seemed to find somewhere to park. It was fortuitous though that PSC didn t run otherwise it would have been very crowded. As usual our ever faithful run setter, Sai Seng, had set out to make a very interesting trail and confused everyone when he pointed DOWN the road and said BIG CAR PARK as the start. A short run he announced and all went off colourfully walking down the road chatting merrily away, except for the FRBs of course who were already half way down the road as they were JOGGING!! I did not do the run this week (I had an MC) nor set but I was reliably informed the trail was of the usual up, down, skirt variety criss-crossing the trail laid by the FTAC. In typical Sai Seng fashion he also made it interesting by taking the trail under rocks, thereby making one crawl, showing what some people do in the jungle by finding used condoms, even a sarong and a towel for added comfort and washing presumably and he seemed to have confused Iceman who went round and round. However all were out in the light after a good sweat.

3 GM s Run Notes continued The crowd had increased significantly as the Dinner Club arrived for the delicious home-cooked food presented by the Bunny. Seconds, thirds, even forth s were gratefully eaten and followed with a homemade cheese cake for dessert. All very delicious!! Many thanks to Renata for the evening s hosting and to Helmut too for helping with the food and cooking the pasta freshly at the runsite. *** Next Week we are at Leader Garden for Huge s run. Please come and support him (and bring your own knife and fork) *** Please respect the environment which we enjoy each week and ensure that no rubbish is left at the site, including cigarette butts, scraps and general litter. Thank you.

4 Comments from the On-Sec re LITTERING At the conclusion of this weeks run I approached my bike at 10:30pm to find empty beer CANS (Tiger and Skye) had been placed in the basket of my bike. My initial reaction was to feel annoyed and disappointed at the disrespect and laziness shown by the culprit(s), especially when the recycle bag (located at the beer van) was only 3-4 metres away! I am aware who was drinking Tiger and Skye beer CANS near my bike. If this occurs again they can expect their photo to be posted in the newsletter as there is no reason for deliberately littering at Hash run sites, let alone disrespecting a fellow hashers property. 99% of Hash Harriet members demonstrate complete respect for the environment and their fellow hashers every week and for that, many thanks goes out to all of you. For that 1% who spoil it for everyone, please think twice the next time you consider leaving your rubbish behind at the inconvenience of other people. The consequences might prove to be an embarrassing and worthless result for your inconsiderate behavior. So kindly take your empty CANS with you or dispose of them correctly before you leave. Please respect the environment which we enjoy each week and ensure that no rubbish is left at the site, including cigarette butts, scraps and general litter. Thank you.

14 The Circle The GM called for the evening s Dinner Club members to present themselves to the assembled throng, asking why they can come for dinner but not for the run!! GOOD QUESTION!!

15 The Circle The GM then called Dieu Lah Sing back to the ice. He was a member of the Dinner Club that night and was still eating went called to the ice the first time, even bringing his loaded plate to the ice!! NO SHAME LAH!!

16 VGM on ice. Congratulations on finally reaching 200 Runs. The Circle Meanwhile our prodigious run setter Sai Seng completed 300 runs. Congratulations to both of you.

17 The Circle The GM kept Sai Seng on the ice to thank him on behalf of the Club for the amount of time and effort he expends setting the runs for the Harriets and for being a great help to all who ask anything of him. (I would like to thank our GM too for her part in the run setting which she also does most weeks..ed.)

19 The Circle A last minute charge saw Miss Kollywood on ice. It used to be Miss Bollywood but our South Indian members decided Kollywood better fitted her as she s always making a song and dance!

20 The Circle The final icing for the evening was a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all the May babies. Unfortunately only Biking Sheila and Viking were there but nevertheless HB to all of you.
