He attended a technical school in order to become a certified fitter. He has worked as a fitter for the 15 years following his graduation. Recently, ASLAK has decided to return to school to further his education. He is enrolled at a university, where he is studying for his Bachelor s Degree in Engineering. He plans to spend an additional four years on his education in order to achieve his career goal of working as an engineer. ASLAK has also worked as a fisherman, bus driver, and an assemblyman, and he has volunteered as a first aid and security person. His native language is Icelandic, and he speaks Danish and English as well. He has not served in the military. I have been working as a fitter for 15 years, and I m an Engineering student.

Which countries have you visited: Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. Describe the best holiday you have had: I love trips back to my home country of Iceland, but visiting Italy was nice too! What do you like the most about your own country: I like the people and the nature of Iceland, and I enjoy the beaches and the people in Denmark. What is your marital status? Single. Do you have any children? No. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Skiing. Which other types of sports are you interested in? Flying. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? Mostly I recall my mother and father providing a stable home for my sister and me, despite not having much. Which was your greatest experience or moment? Receiving my private pilot license. Happiest: Living in Iceland. Funniest: Attending a Danish music festival. Scariest: My first solo flight as a pilot.
