BENTON has volunteered raising money for charities that benefit cancer patients and animals. He has supported himself by working as a dishwasher. His native language is Danish, and he speaks English, German and Spanish as well. He did not serve in the military. I am a university student studying Sociology, and I plan to earn a Ph.D.

Funny, competitive, clever, strong-willed, compassionate, stubborn, weird. Describe your strong sides: I m good at keeping track of things, at seeing the bigger picture, and I have the will to do what I dream of. I m also very compassionate and funny. I m the type of person who will do anything to help those closest to me. Describe your weak sides: I can be quite competitive and stubborn, which sometimes is a good thing but sometimes it can be a bit too much. What is your marital status? Single. Do you have any children? No. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Judo, horseback riding, speedway, running. Do you eat healthy? I try. Do you smoke? No. Do you ride a bicycle? Often. How much alcohol do you drink on average per week? None. Which countries have you visited: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Morocco, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom. Describe the best holiday you have had: My best holiday was a trip to Thailand, where we got to meet all kinds of people and animals. We were also canoeing through the jungle which was amazing, and it can t be compared to anything else! What do you like the most about your own country: Free education. My heroes include my mom, for always keeping her head held high; my grandmother, for showing me unconditional love; and my sister, for always being there when I need her. What are your goals in life? My goals are to write a book, to help the world become more open and welcoming, and to travel around the world. Also, I would like to see a blue whale up close. What is your favourite time of year? The time between spring and summer. What is your favourite book and/or author? The Alchemyst, by Michael Scott. What is your favourite movie and/or director? The Giver. What were your childhood dreams: My dreams were to become a writer and to be good at some form of martial art. Which values do you rank the highest? Openness and kindness. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? Losing someone close to me, because it made me realise that life is short, and you need to live life and not just survive it. Which was your greatest experience or moment? When I got my own horse. Happiest: When I got my own horse. Funniest: Making hilarious impressions with my best friend. Scariest: When a man almost killed my mom. Proudest: When I got my first A on a final exam. Most dangerous: Being on a plane that almost crashed. Greatest sorrow: When my mom died.
