1 Yui LABO-7 Yui s hobbies are playing basketball, drawing, embroidery, crafts, reading, swimming, cooking, camping, playing high jump, and gymnastics. She is considerate of others, outgoing, talkative, and loves to laugh. Her favorite subjects in school are PE, Arithmetic, and Drawing. Yui's plan for this trip is to make new friends, enjoy American foods, sports, crafts, and learn more English. She would like to teach her host family about Japanese food dishes, games, origami, and calligraphy. Family: Father (Carpenter), Mother (Caregiver), Brother (16) Miyuki LABO-1 Miyuki enjoys Vocaloid, playing games, drawing, nature, swimming, hiking, cycling, comics, acting, writing, and playing with her cats. She is out going, talkative, and laughs a lot. Miyuki is not a fan of spicy food. During her time in Texas, she wants to make many friends, go to a pool, and teach her host family about Japanese comics and Japan culture. Her pets include a horse and a dog. With her free time, she enjoys reading comics and novels, drawing, listening to music, table tennis, shopping, movies, singing, and dancing. Through her exchange experience, she would like to learn about American culture and make lots of happy memories with her host family. She delights in making hairstyle arrangements, book covers, and bags. Her favorite subject in school is Home Economics. While in Texas she wants to become part of your family. She also wants to cook Japanese meals for her host family. Maho is Cheerful, energetic, curious, talkative, tolerant, outgoing, and loves to laugh. Her favorite school subject is Music. 2 Yuki LABO-16 When it comes to his free time, Yuki likes playing table tennis, Japanese chess, cards, video games, and soccer. He also enjoys writing, painting/drawing, arts/crafts, tv comedy, and his dog. His favorite school subject is Arithmetic. Yuki is patient, serious, and quiet. During his stay, he hopes to make a lot of friends, have many different experiences, and learn how to play in America. Family: Father (Ground Self-Defense Force), Mother (Construction Co. Office Worker) Kazuaki LABO-17 Kazuaki hobbies include table tennis, cycling, fishing, hiking, camping, sports, and seeing nature outdoors. He also enjoys trying new foods, boating, swimming, video games, movies, computers, and museums. Kazauki is honest, considerate of others, curious, cheerful, and outgoing. Science is his favorite subject in school. Through this experience, Kazuaki hops to improve his English, see Texas nature and outdoors, and play sports with his host family. Family: Father (Physician), Mother (LABO Tutor), Sister (10), Brother (15) Sota LABO-20 Male: 14 In Sota s free time, he enjoys Japanese chess, Lego s, card games, camping, hiking, photography, comics, movies, and Sherlock Holmes. He also likes soccer and Kendo (martial arts). Sota s favorite subjects are Social Studies, Math, Science, and Space. Sota is outgoing, friendly, curious, and patient. During his stay in Texas, he wants to learn about the cultures, lifestyles, and teach his host family how to play Shogi (Japanese chess). With his free time, he likes playing baseball and watching ball games. He also loves karaoke, trying new foods, hiking, nature, movies, video games, comics, cats, and dogs. Yuto likes ice cream, cake, crepes, meat dishes, and grape. PE is his favorite subject in school. If possible while in Texas Yuto would like to watch a major league game, eat a Texassize hamburger, and go to an amusement park. 3 Takuya Labo-19 Takuya hobbies include fishing, soccer, running, camping, swimming, boating, hiking, and baseball. He also finds delight in photography, museums, cooking, movies, and animals. Takuya is talkative, outgoing, curious, and loves to laugh. His favorite school subject is Art and Math. Takuya would like to ride a horse, care for farm animals, and go to NASA. Through this experience he would like to learn about his host family customs, study the history, and weather. While in Texas she wants to make many friends, play, and become a part of your family. 4 Ruri LEX-6 Ruri enjoys shopping, trying new foods, movies, dancing, and her pet dog. She really loves amusement parks. Ruri also likes playing tennis, ping pong, and basketball. She is cheerful, sociable, honest, and likes to laugh a lot.english is her favorite school subject. Ruri hopes that during her time in Texas she can learn more English words and phrases before leaving. He also likes playing the violin, museums, nature, NASA, U.S. History, and animals. Teruki is studious and curious. His favorite subject in school is Science. Through his experience he wants to play, have fun, and become best friends with his host family. Shunho is tidy, studious, and loyal. Through this exchange experience he hopes to become part of your family, study NASA, and teach you how to play one of the oldest games in recorded human history, Cat's Cradle. Family: Father (Office Worker), Mother (Nurse, Teacher), Sister (5), Brother (9) Hirotake LEX-12 Hirotake likes collecting coins, games, bouldering (rock climbing), Lego blocks, and participating in the Hippo Family Club activities. He also likes shopping, singing, running, visiting museums, and playing ping pong. Hirotake is studious, shy, sociable, considerate of others, and likes to laugh a lot. His favorite school subjects are Social Studies and Science. During his time in Texas he would like to eat a hamburger, order at a restaurant, make Japanese food for his host family, and experience ordinary American life. 5 Tatsumi LEX-13 Tatsumi enjoys ping pong, soccer, swimming, boating, camping, nature, video games, movies, trying new foods, painting, drawing, and animals. He also likes singing and is interested in American Pop music. Tatsumi is cheerful, energetic, sociable, and curious. His favorite subjects in school are Science, Arts and Crafts, and PE. Through his exchange experience, Tatsumi would like to make many friends, become a member of the family, and teach you how to make origami. Also, he would love to be able to care for livestock and ride a horse. He also enjoys animals, trying new foods, camping, nature/outdoors, ping pong, singing, museums, and playing the violin. Math, Social Studies, and Music are his favorite school subjects. Roi is curious, studious, talkative, and cheerful. He hopes that he will be able to become part of the family, make friends, talk a lot, and take care of animals.
