4 Specialty Trophy and General Specialty Fund Trophy sponsorship and general donations are the "lifeblood" of any successful specialty. Your generosity helps us hold these very unique events. We have a wide variety of trophies available for sponsorship, as well as the general fund to help offset the rest of the costs. Thanks to early support of many of our members a great majority of our trophies have been covered, we are still in need of help We now have an online store to send monies in for trophies. During and after the Banquet we will hold our annual Awards, Raffle, Auction, and Rescue Raffle If you would like to donate to the raffle/auction please bring your items to the specialty or mail them to Meredith Wille 1875 Hillsdale Ave. Ambridge Pa., Tickets will be available all week for $1 each, or $10 for 15 tickets We already have many exciting items for both the raffle and auction, however we are always looking for more!! Louis, Missouri I riatnlon (Competition In celebration of the amazing versatility of our hounds, we are happy to offer a Pharaoh Hound Triathlon as part of the 2016 PHCA National Specialty. Ribbons and trophies will be awarded at the Banquet the evening of September 17l. We encourage ALL Pharaoh Hound owners to aspire to owning versatile hounds. The competition is open to spayed and neutered Pharaoh Hounds. Ifyou have never shown in conformation, don't let that scare you away! You are welcome to ask a friend to show your dog for you at the conformation event. Or just do it yourself; the judges will know to be gentle! The same applies if you are an overachiever and enter more than one Pharaoh. But, please, keeping to the spirit of the competition, no professional handlers, unless they are an owner or co-owner. We will use scores earned on designated National Specialty Event days: Obedience, Rally, and Agility on Wednesday. Lure coursing on Thursday or Saturday. And the conformation match will be right after BOBand photos on Friday. If, at the completion of the conformation match, we have any ties for 1st through 4th place, the tie breakers will be the performance scores. In the performance events, to be eligible for the triathlon, dogs must be entered at the level in which they are currently competing in AKC or ASFA. If you have earned a title, you must compete in the higher level. A dog may enter any or all of the performance and lure coursing events. Ifa dog is entered in multiple performance events, their highest score will be used in the Triathlon scoring. Sit Down

10 Here is how the Triathlon is scored: LURECOURSING (Exhibitor can chose either venue, or run both and use the higher score) Base Score - (100 points maximum) ASFA: total score divided by four (4) when there are two judges AKC: total score divided by two (2) when there are two judges Bonus Points: First in Stake - 3 points OBEDIENCE Base Score - For the regular classes Beginner Novice (Score will be what is awarded by the judge), Novice, Open, & Utility the Base Score is one-half (1/2) of total points earned (or 100 points maximum). For all obedience classes, a qualifying score in any exercise is used for points, even if the total score is Non-Qualifying (NQ). Bonus Points Utility Q- 4 points Open Q- 3 points Novice Q- 2 points RALLY For the Rally-the Base Score is 100 points. Bonus Points: Excellent Q- 4 points Advanced Q- 3 points Any tie on these and we would look at their time. Fastest time would get it. Agility Standard and JWW. Only one score will count towards the triathlon score. Ifthere are two dogs or more with the same score then the deciding factor would be time (yards per second). Bonus Points: Masters Q (Standard or JWW) - 4 points Excellent Q (Standard or JWW) - 3 points Open Q. (Standard or JWW) - 2 points CONFORMATION. Base Score - Determined by judges evaluation of dog in the Triathlon class and is recorded on Conformation Score Sheet. (100 points maximum). Ifa dog qualifies in more than one bonus point category in any of the events, they will only be awarded the higher bonus points. No dog will receive more than 100 points total in any single event. Double digit bonus- Any dog competing that is over the age of loyears will receive 4 additional bonus points added to their total score (not exceeding a total of 300 points)

12 Pharaoh Hound Club of America National Specialty 2016 This year's Lure Coursing and Triathlon catalog will provide useful information on these events and an opportunityto advertise your versatile Pharaoh Hounds! Lure coursing and triathlon entrants will receive a catalog. Others may purchase a catalog for a small fee. Please supportthis catalog by placing ads to highlight your amazing Pharaohs Hounds. Even those who can't attend this year can make sure we remember your remarkable hound. Mail your check, made out to PHCA, and camera-ready work to Meredith Wille, 1875 Hillsdale Ave. Ambridge Pa., Please send any photos with the ad. Photos will be returned atthe National. You can include a stamped selfaddressed envelope for mailed return of photos. OR files to Meredith atjagr@comcast.net. Make sure to still mail the completed orderform and payment. You can send files in MS Word, MS Publisher, or PDFformats. If you choose PDF, make sure to send in high-resolution. Don't choose the format meant to be viewed on the web; that doesn't print well. The catalog will be 8-1/2 x 11 with 1-1/2 inch left margin and 1 inch for the other margins. Need help? You can get some help with layout of a simple ad. 14 THREE RIVERS KENNEL CLUB OF MISSOURI RV Parking at Purina Event Center Please Note: Quiet Hours are from 11 PM to 6 AM. RVs may not move in or out during quiet hours. Three Rivers Kennel Club of Missouri welcomes you to Purina Farms. Purina Farms has a great RV area. Please enjoy your stay and the shows. Three Rivers Kennel Club will take reservations for RV parking spots, at Purina, which will be available from noon on Monday, September 12, through Saturday night, September 18, Fee is $30.00 per night on the full service upper lot. Handicapped accessible RV spaces NOT available. Reservations will be accepted until Wednesday, August 31st. The RV Grooming Reservation Form can be found on page **. It is important to have an address on the reservation form so notification of your spot can be sent. There are 76 parking spaces. Refunds will not be made after entries close. Overflow parking is located on the gravel lots above the outdoor show site. There is no charge for the overflow lot, but reservations are required. Electric is offered. There will be no RV parking on any blacktop parking lot. All RVs will be REQUIRED to display a parking permit which will be handed out to those with reservations. The permits will be issued by Three Rivers Kennel Club. Please affix the permit to the door of the RV trailer or where it can be seen easily. Tow vehicle must be disconnected from RVs during your visit. A maximum of 2 cars affiliated with the RV may park inthe RV spot. Any vehicle parking in an RV spot and not affiliated with the RV will be asked to move or be towed at the owner's expense. In case of a medical emergency in the RV lot in the evening or during the night, please turn on the RVs outside lights to help responders identify the RV. Groups wishing to be next to one another should send reservations in the same envelope.

15 Exhibitors may not bring or use motorized vehicles on Purina's property unless for a medical conditions. Documentation must be presented if requested by the staff at Purina. Such vehicles may not park on sidewalks. If you grill close to your camper, please let the coals burn overnight. In the morning, bag them and put them in a trash container. Your dogs' safety is important. Please keep them on a leash or crated when not competing in an event. Exercise pens are not allowed around the Purina Event Center. Exercise pens on designated grassy areas should not have a floor or cower which could damage the grass. AN EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM MUST BE ON EVERY RV VEHICLE. THE FORM CAN BE FOUND BELOW OR AT. When on the home page, click on "EVENTS" at the top of the page. Then click on "Three Rivers Shows" on the right side of the next page and then on "Emergency Contact Form."
