2 HOST HOTEL: Best Western Bakerview, 1821 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, Rate is: $105 for room with 2 Queens, micro/fridge, with NO extra charge for dogs. Rooms need to be reserved by July 28th to get that rate. Mention it is for the Whippet Club block when making your reservations. This is an older hotel and NOT fancy and not a lot of area to walk dogs but the hotel is clean and very dog friendly. 10 minutes from the race site. ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION: Super 8 Langley a newer hotel with great green area for dog walking, Gloucester Way, Langley, BC Additional charge per dog minutes from the race site. Comfort Inn Abbotsford - additional charge per dog Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, minutes from the race site RV Parking - limited number of spots available at members private property dry camping, no hookups or sewer/water available. TRAVEL OPTIONS: The closest airport is Abbotsford Airport, which is serviced by WestJet. Vancouver Airport is approximately 1 hour from the race site. Seattle, Washington is approximately a 2-hour drive. Allow plenty of time for border crossing, as it is very busy in the summer. We suggest the Lynden/Aldergrove or Sumas/Abbotsford border crossings to avoid the busiest crossings closer to Vancouver.
