2 Q&A with POWER POWER answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which words describe your personality? Proud, creative, charismatic, passionate, sensitive. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: Writing, role playing, computer games. List which musical instruments you play or have played: Guitar, piano, vocals. Religion: Spiritual. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 8. Do you eat healthy? Always. Do you smoke? No. Do you ride a bicycle? Sometimes. How much alcohol do you drink on average per week? 2 drinks. Describe your strong sides: I am very resourceful and good at achieving difficult goals. My interpersonal skills enable me to be a good motivator, advisor, and inspirational leader. Describe your weak sides: I am sometimes blinded by my arrogance and have a tendency to let my passion drive me too far down a lost cause. Sometimes my need to help others take me a little too far off my own path in life. What is your marital status? Single. Do you have any children? I have a 3 year-old daughter, she is very smart and outgoing. She loves the outdoors, playing with dolls and is very well liked among the other children. She is of average height and weight for her age, has platinum blonde hair and crystal clear blue eyes. She is developing very well, and she has no health issues. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Running, karate, various athletic challenges. Which other types of sports are you interested in? Mixed martial arts. Which countries have you visited: Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. Describe the best holiday you have had: I woke up one Christmas and the snow was falling outside. A blizzard was raging, and there was howling wind beating the rafters and an ocean of snow brushing up against my bedroom window. I quickly got up to look out onto the frozen garden outside. The sun hadn t come entirely up yet, and it was still quite dark. The few garden lamps still peeking up above the snow gave off a faint light, but is was just enough for me to see. Everything was white, like a thick carpet of ivory fur had been pulled over the world. I was 10 years old. My heart was jumping with joy at seeing all quiet wonders outside. I always loved to play in the snow, and in my excitement I woke up my little sister. We had to see what presents she had gotten in her Christmas stockings during the night. We always opened our gifts together, sharing in each others joy and excitement. Memories like this will always have a special place for me. What do you like the most about your own country: I like that we take pride in who we are and rarely are afraid to speak our minds. Also, that we are all equal when starting a debate or disagreement and therefore are free to state our point of view. No matter where you come from in society, you have the opportunity to achieve your dreams.
3 Q&A with POWER - continued POWER s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? The American author Brendon Burchard is my hero. He is a writer, motivational speaker and inspirational thought leader who has made it his life goal to improve the lives of others and help them see that even ambitious goals are not impossible to achieve if you never give up. What are your goals in life? I want to pursue my passion for writing. I have very broad interests that I aim to realise through entrepreneurship. Scariest: The day my daughter was born and her mother nearly died. Proudest: When I completed a triathlon with some friends. Most dangerous: Waking up during a dangerous car ride. Greatest sorrow: The day my father died suddenly. What is your favourite colour? Purple, it is the color of royalty, magic and mystery. Right before blue (the color of trust) and red (for passion). What is your favourite animal? Tiger, a confident and regal hunter. It is often associated with power and patience. What is your favourite kind of food? Baked potatoes, bernaise sauce and steak, with red wine. What is your favourite kind of music? Emotional music, across many genres, including classical, orchestral and soundtracks. What is your favourite kind of car? Fisker Karma. What were your childhood dreams: I always wanted to be an inventor. Even though I did not possess the knowledge to see the entire spectrum, I always had the basic idea that I would use my creativity to create new things. What is your favourite kind of pet? Cats and dogs. Which values do you rank the highest? Integrity, loyalty and passion. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? When I was very little, my best friend and I did everything together. One day, her family had to move away. I was very sad to see her leave. On the day that we had to say goodbye, she hugged me and gave me one of her most prised possessions, telling me to take very good care of it. It was a small sundial that I had given her as a birthday present earlier that summer. Which was your greatest experience or moment? When I won a gold medal in my first martial arts tournament and received praise from my father. Happiest: Waking up next to the (at the time) love of my life on a very beautiful summer morning. Funniest: One time I went to a Halloween party dressed as Rainbow Dash from the television show My Little Pony. What is your favourite time of year? Spring, when everything is fresh and new. What is your favourite book and/or author? Crossroads of Twilight, by Robert Jordan. What is your favourite movie and/or director? Bridge to Terabithia.
