Describe your strong sides: My ability to rest in the moment and keep calm, without becoming stagnant or missing important details. Describe your weak sides: I become easily content and therefore I do not seek out new challenges or changes if unnecessary. What is your marital status? Single. Do you have any children? No. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Wrestling and kickboxing. Which other types of sports are you interested in? Boxing. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: Origami, gardening and cooking. List which musical instruments you play or have played: Drums. Religion: Atheist. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 8-9 hours. Do you eat healthy? Always. Do you smoke? No. Do you ride a bicycle? Often. How much alcohol do you drink on average per week? A total of 10 beers a year or so, never been fond of alcohol. Which countries have you visited? Spain and Germany. Describe the best holiday you have had: A family visit to Berlin which had an astounding history as well as the best zoo I have ever visited. What do you like the most about your own country? The sense of solidarity, from the average person to the government.
3 Q&A with BERNHARD - continued BERNHARD s dreams, favourites and experiences What is your favourite colour? Black, it hides stains the best. What is your favourite animal? Dogs, because of their loyalty. What is your favourite kind of food? Pizza - it is simple, easy to clean and you can make so many different kinds. What is your favourite kind of music? Anything with a nice beat. Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? People like teachers, nurses, or those who work in kindergartens, who usually have the hardest and most important jobs, yet receive far too little for doing it every day. What are your goals in life? A stable job where I can be content with life and have time for my family. What were your childhood dreams? Having my own zoo. Which values do you rank the highest? Holding on to your own moral values and obeying them even when it does not benefit you. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? Having a pet in the family, and the values it brings with it. What is your favourite kind of car? Skoda, the only car type I have ever driven so I am a bit biased. What is your favourite kind of pet? Dogs, again, because of their loyalty. What is your favourite time of year? Summer, because of the warm weather and sunny skies. What is your favourite book and/or author? Fight club, first book I ever finished in a single sitting. What is your favourite movie and/or director? The Star Wars movies, since they were the first movies I ever watched in theaters. Which was your greatest experience or moment? Getting my driver s license. Happiest: Meeting my newborn niece for the first time. Funniest: An open-mic night at a local bar. Scariest: Being home alone at a rather young age and watching horror movies all night long, because the TV channel I had chosen was running a marathon of old classics. Proudest: My first time as a blood donor. Most dangerous: Being a young child and the car I was sitting in was hit at the rear end by the driver behind us. Greatest sorrow: Every time one of the family pets have had to be put down.
