(Affiliated: Victorian Poultry Fanciers Association Inc.) 2019 Provisional Show Saturday May 18 th Daylesford Poultry Pavilion, Victoria Park, Corner Burrall Street & Ballan Daylesford Road, Daylesford, Victoria. Google Map: Sausage sizzle & drinks for sale. Show Secretary: Ron Walsh, Show Manager: James Bishop Pavilion opens at 8 am. Birds must be penned by 9-15 am. Judging starts at 9-30 am. All Exhibitors are to be current Members of the VPFA & must state their VPFA Membership number on the entry form or purchase a Day Pass at $10. Class numbers as per the VPFA Standard Schedule. Entry fees: Senior $1-80 per bird. Junior $1-40 per bird. Payment on the day of the Show by cash, EFTPOS or cheque made payable to: Western Region Poultry Club Inc. entries to: WRPCShow@maremmasheepdog.info Phone entries to: Entries close: Sunday May 12 th or when the Pavilion is full. Due to limited pen numbers & sizes no Muscovy, Geese, Turkey or Guinea Fowl can be accepted. BYO food & water containers.

2 This is a Full Provisional Show & all birds will be judged by Provisional Judges under the guidance of an All Open Panel Supervising Judge. We have chosen to go this route to give new Judges some, hopefully valuable, experience & to further the knowledge base of our fancy. Without new Judges the exhibiting side of things will fade away. As such, this Show will have minimal prizes as the focus is the Provisional Judges. 4 Show Rules & Regulations For Western Region Poultry Club Inc. 1) These Show Rules & Regulations shall be enforced in conjunction with those of the Victorian Poultry Fanciers Association. 2) All Show Rules & Regulations shall encourage the aims, rules & constitution of Western Region Poultry Club Inc. 3) Exhibits must be the property of the Exhibitor as shown on the entry form at least 14 days prior to the day of the Show. 4) WRPC Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry or part thereof without giving the reason to the decision. 5) WRPC shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any property, including Exhibits, at the Show. 6) WRPC shall not be liable for any illness, disease or infection to any Exhibit. 7) Any Exhibit entered in the wrong Class shall be disqualified. 8) Judges are not liable to give a placing to an Exhibit that does not meet the minimal standard for the described Breed. 9) Non identifiable leg bands are permitted. 10) Exhibitors are responsible for the feed & water of their own Exhibits & may only do so after the completion of all Judging. (BYO food & water containers) 11) Only Judges may use Judging Sticks. 12) No Exhibit may be handled by anyone after penning except by Judges, Stewards & the Show Manager. 13) The Show Manager may have an Exhibit removed from the Show at any time for any reason. 14) The Show Manager shall give permission for the removal of Exhibits & the ending of the Show. 15) WRPC Committee has the right to alter or change a Judge at any time for any reason. 16) No person may interfere with the Judging process if they are not on the Judging Panel. 17) Junior Exhibitors must be between 6 & 16 years of age as defined by the VPFA. 18) Junior Exhibitors may enter in Junior or Senior Classes but NOT both. 19) Cockerel, Pullet, Duckling & Drakeling Exhibits must be under 12 months of age. 20) All entries must conform to the current VPFA Standard Schedule & be on the attached entry form or a reasonable copy. 21) Class numbers as per the VPFA Standard Schedule. 22) No Muscovy, Geese, Turkeys or Guinea Fowl accepted due to pens.
