3 SECOND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO HOLD THE 6 TH AGM OF THE CAPE BULLMASTIFF CLUB The 6 th AGM of the Cape Bullmastiff Club will be held on Saturday the 28 th January 2017 at 10h00 sharp at the Dutch Reformed Church, Firmount Road, Briza, Somerset West. Any member who wishes to propose an item for the Agenda should do so in writing before the 10 th January 2017 and submit it to info@capebullmastiffclub.co.za. The Agenda will be distributed to all paid up members after final compilation. As the present Committee members have a two-year mandate there will be no voting. Subscriptions for the year 2017 are now due, and once again there has been no increase in the membership fee which remains R120 annually and R75 for pensioners. Thank you to all who have already paid and/or who have two or three year subscriptions. 11 DATES TO REMEMBER: 10 th JANUARY SUBMISSIONS FOR AGM 14 TH JANUARY COMMITTEE MEETING 22 ND JANUARY TROPHY SHOW 28 TH JANUARY AGM ********* IMPORTANT MESSAGES FROM THE COMMITTEE FEDCO AGENDA DECEMBER 2016 ITEM 3.4: - Mandatory KUSA membership for people exhibiting & handling dogs at the KUSA shows. This has huge ramifications for some people a task team for further discussions will be implemented before a fixed decision is made. ***** FEDCO : - The KUSA Bullmastiff Breed Standard. The Breed Standard will remain as is from country of origin as altered in This is a severe blow for the Bullmastiff as the BREED HALLMARK THE HEADhas been compromised. Breeders are asked to take special care with their breeding programmes. ****** World of Bullmastiff Manual update as this letter goes out the RSA has not yet received this manual. There will be one extra manual available and the CBC Committee plans to raffle it to raise funds for the Club. Tickets will be R50 each watch this space!!! Enjoy the South African section!
