Make checks payable in U.S. Funds and mail to BaRay Event Services, PO Box 4090, Sequim, WA NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS REGARDING CORRECTIONS OR CHANGES TO ENTRIES: Corrections other than the specific changes listed in Ch. 11, Sec. 6 (i.e. sex of a dog, transfers between age specific classes, and move-up s to BOB or BOV) are the only changes to the entries superintendents or secretaries are authorized to make after closing of entries. Owners are responsible for errors in the entry forms, regardless of who may make such errors. THIS RULE IS BEING STRICTLY ENFORCED BY THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ENTRIES CAREFULLY. Corrections to entries may be made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary prior to the closing of entries if such correction is submitted in writing. Exhibitors are required to report any changes/corrections after closing directly to the American Kennel Club. ENTRIES, CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, TRANSFERS FAX ENTRIES: Fax number: $4.00 per dog per event added for FAX-Credit Card entries. Both sides of entry form must be transmitted. Entries must be accompanied by a cover sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted for Fax entries. Credit card information (Credit Card number, expiration date, and cardholder name) must be on cover sheet. Note: Visa and MasterCard users You must include the 3- digit security code that appears above your signature on the back of the card. Proof of fax transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission (under AKC Rule Ch. 11, Sec. 4). 4 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List. The AKC will collect a $1.50 AKC Event Service Fee and 50 cent Recording Fee for the first entry of a dog in all AKC licensed and member dog shows, obedience trials, and tracking tests. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Event/Recording Fees to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule. Ch.11, Sec. 2). In accordance with AKC Rally regulations, the AKC will collect a $3.00 per entry of dog Rally Event Service Fee. A show-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Recording Fees and Event Service Fees for AKC. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNA- TIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, and unsigned entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club, BaRay Events and/or its Show Secretary assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH THE ENTRANT. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for bitches in season. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. BaRay Events will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. BaRay Events will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor or agent may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS. REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed to said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs. Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to address on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify BaRay Events at (360) or dogshows@barayevents.com. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. FAX ENTRIES Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time. Fee is $4.00 per dog per show. If the credit card charge is denied for any reason, an additional service charge of $20.00 will be added. FAX NUMBER: (360) This is for Fax Machine ONLY. Incomplete or illegible Fax entries are not acceptable as a valid entry in a show. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission (under AKC Rule Ch. 11, Sec. 4). ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. The Club is not responsible for the actions or products of the commercial vendors at this show. The person handling the dog in this class must be a breeder of record and an owner of record of this dog. In any subsequent classes for which a dog from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class becomes eligible, there are no restrictions as to who may handle. Non-Regular Classes Involving Single Dog Entries Veteran Dogs (6 yrs. & under 8 yrs.) Veteran Bitches (6 yrs. & under 8 yrs.) Veteran Dogs (8 yrs. & under 10 yrs.) Veteran Bitches (8 yrs. & under 10 yrs.) Veteran Dogs (10 yrs. & older) Veteran Bitches (10 yrs. & older) Winners of each Veterans class, if otherwise undefeated, compete for Best of Breed. BEST OF BREED COMPETITION: The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs that according to their owners records have completed the requirements for a Championship but whose Championships are unconfirmed. The showing of dogs whose Championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a Championship according to the owner s records. Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries As the judge s decision in this class will be based on the merits of more than one dog, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry placed first in the following classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won the class. STUD DOG CLASS For Stud Dog with no more than two of his get. Stud Dogs must be shown in the ring with their get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not be the owner of the get. Get only to be judged, based on the merits of the get. The Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes at this show. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. BROOD BITCH CLASS same as above; substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and produce for get. BRACE CLASS Two dogs that are similar in appearance, performing in unison, and presented by a maximum of two handlers. Both dogs competing in brace competition must have at least one common owner. The Dogs comprising a Brace MUST be named at the time of entry. In making entries for Brace Class Only full particulars MUST be given for each dog on individual entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in a Regular Class or for Best of Breed Competition and entered as part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for Additional Classes, Brace Class. If more than one Brace is entered by same owner, dogs comprising EACH BRACE must be designated Brace No. 1, Brace No. 2, etc. TEAM CLASS Same as Brace, except class is for four dogs. Entries for dogs that make up a team MUST be mailed together and clearly indicate the dogs that make up the Team. ENTRIES CLOSE 08/29/07 NCIWC

Myer SWEEPSTAKES RULES This sweepstakes is open to all Irish Wolfhounds who, on the date of the show, shall be at least 6 months and under 18 months of age. Sweepstakes Classes will be judged prior to the Regular Breed Classes. All dogs entered must be entered in one of the regular classes at the regular entry fee, and on the regular entry form. Junior and Senior Sweepstakes will be judged separately and there will be no competition between the two divisions. Winners of the Junior classes will compete for Best Junior in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex to Best Junior. Winners of Senior Classes will compete for Best Senior in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex to Best Senior. Professional handlers may only show the dogs they own. Please indicate your Sweepstakes class with the appropriate age division in the space provided for in Additional Classes. JUNIOR SWEEPSTAKES CLASSES Dogs (6 mos. & under 9 mos.) PERPETUAL TROPHIES The Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club offers the following trophies for competition at its specialty shows only. Each year a plaque with the winner s name and date will be added to the platform of the trophy. Light Blue Rosette Up to three (3) Awards of Merit Rosettes may be offered at the discretion of the judge EXTENDED GENERATION COMPETITION Judge: Glenn H Myer Entry Fee: $16.00 for the Unit This extraordinary class entry is to be made up of a minimum of three generations, each descended from the one above. (i.e., Dogs A, B & C: A is sire or dam of B who is sire or dam of C.) Only one representative from each generation is allowed. Dogs must be entered in a regular or non-regular class, or Best of Breed competition at this show. Judge s decision is based on merits and likeness of get. Dog A (the grandparent) is the dog entered. The Winner is not eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. First Place only will be awarded in this class. Dogs do not need to be owned or bred by same person. Winner of class is Dog A and the owner/owners must win 3 times to retire the challenge trophy. Exit on Washington Street in Petaluma. Turn West three blocks. Fairgrounds is on the left. ** PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ** Should it become necessary to rescue a dog in jeopardy of the elements in a locked vehicle, it will be the vehicle owner s responsibility for any damage to the vehicle incurred during rescue attempts by the Show Committee. CLEAN UP IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! Pooper-Scoopers (in chlorine-filled buckets) will be placed all around the show grounds and outside all show rings. If your dog soils the parking lot, show grounds or the rings, it is your responsibility to clean it up. By signing the entry form at this show you are agreeing that clean up is your responsibility. This will be achieved by members volunteering to clean up. Please help those brave few to better do their jobs by cooperating with the system decided upon we will recycle cans, bottles and plastic containers into the receptacles placed around the grounds. Clean cardboard should be placed next to the recycle containers. There will be fewer trash cans than the Fairground usually puts out, so please accept the slight inconvenience of walking a little further.
