CANADIAN EXHIBITORS must make checks payable in U.S. funds. Please mail fees with entries. Do not send CASH through the mail. A recording fee of $0.50 and an event fee of $3.00, for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Rally Trial. This fee is to be collected by the show-giving club and paid to the AKC. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the Event, a $3.00 event fee is paid on the second entry. (AKC Rule Chapter 11, Section 2.) Entry fees will not be refunded in the event the dog is absent, disqualified or excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. The Show Secretary shall add a collection fee of not less than $15.00 to the amount of each returned check. No dog will be exhibited until Returned Checks have been made good and the collection fee paid in cash. No refund for duplicate entries. Errors on entry forms are the sole responsibility of the owner or whomever may make such errors, and no entry fee shall be refunded in the event of such errors or for cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. They will adhere as closely as possible to the Judging Schedule. The Owner or handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. The show-giving club and its show secretary have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. No chalking inside. Dogs may arrive at any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. CRATES and TABLES will not be allowed in the aisles. Private exercise pens will not be allowed inside the building. Please make an effort to clean up after your dogs. The Show and Obedience trial shall be open from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to ensure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
