(Variety) If you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owner s records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. We're about 2 hours from Nashville, Knoxville, Atlanta, and Birmingham! From 27N: take the Morrison Springs Road exit toward Red Bank at mile marker 6.6 (don't take the Dayton Blvd / Red Bank exit at mile marker 3). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Get into the left lane, and go a third of a mile to the end, then turn left onto Dayton Blvd. Go a quarter mile, and we're on the left. From 27S: take the Morrison Springs Road exit toward Red Bank. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp and follow the directions above. From 24W: take the 27N exit and follow the directions above. From 75N: take exit #2 for I -24 West towards Chattanooga/Nashville, then follow the directions above. If you get lost, call us! The full list of prizes and trophies can be obtained from the Trial Secretary at the opening of this trial. 6 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Entries Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a collection fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check. Any returned check must be made good by cash or money order before the dog will be allowed into the ring. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures, or the Agreement on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form. Please print or type all information on the entry form. Please show only dog s AKC titles on the entry form. Telegraph, telephone and unsigned entries cannot be accepted. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on the entry forms. Illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered into the trial. All entries must be made on official AKC Entry Forms or copies and must include the Agreement and Rules. Changes, additions, or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing, at the secretary s address or by (trial_sec@chattanoogaobedienceclub.or) prior to the closing date. Refunds No refund of entry fees will be made for entries cancelled after the closing date, except in the cases of bitches that come into season. In those cases, refunds of valid entries may be obtained by providing the Trial Secretary with a veterinarian s certificate verifying that the bitch came into season after the closing date. The certificate may be mailed, provided the postmark is no later than the date prior to the day of the trial, or delivered by hand to the Trial Secretary before the start of the trial. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of Trial Committee. Entry fees will not be refunded because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the host organization, if it is impossible to open or to complete the trial. Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries before processing. If a duplicate entry is processed, however, no refund will be made. If, in the opinion of the host club, the well being of dogs, exhibitors or spectators is at risk due to extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, or extreme heat, the host club may cancel or stop a show or trial before completion. No refunds will be made in such cases. Cancelled entries will be charged a $10 processing fee. Awards and Trophies Qualifying score required for all prizes in regular classes. The Obedience Club of Chattanooga, Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize or trophy of equal value in the event one listed is not available from the donor. All awards and trophies must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed. Judging Procedures Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. Dogs need to be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs are only allowed in rings during judging. Site Crating is available indoors at this site. Smoking is not allowed inside the building or on the show grounds. All dogs must be attended or confined to their crates except when being judged. Limited RV parking is available. Contact the secretary for reservations. 7
