6 Exhibitors Please Note TOP 5 BURMESE EXHIBITS IN EACH RING RIBBONS & AWARDS BEST IN SECTION and CHALLENGE RIBBONS UNABLE TO BE HANDLED AGRESSIVE EXHIBITS SHOW CLOSURE KITTENS SOLD ON THE DAY Top 5 Burmese Exhibits in each Ring : Each ring judge will select and present their five (5) best exhibits. TOP 3 COMPANION EXHIBITS Top 3 Companion Exhibits in Show: Independently each ring judge will select their five (5) best exhibits and place them in rank order. These rankings will be passed to the Show Secretary who will total the rankings of each exhibit included and list the exhibits in order of total rank. The Top 3 Exhibits in this list will be the Top3 Exhibits in Show. Exhibitors are reminded that all Trophies, Rosetted, Prizes and cards once placed on cages by Society Officials become the responsibility of the Exhibitor, and the Society regrets that it is not possible to replace any that may subsequently disappear from unattended cages. Several awards will be placed on the cages during each judging session. At the end of the judging session, exhibitors are responsible for removing the awards prior to the next judging session. After the completion of judging in all rings, the awards may be returned to the s cage for display. These ribbons will not be presented. Any Cat or Kitten that cannot be physically removed from their CARRY BOX or CAGE with safety MUST be named U.T.H Exhibitors are reminded that a Judge or Steward does not have to handle any exhibit showing signs of aggression in accordance with Show Rule 6.13 (UTH UTJ & Disqualifiion). Owners have a duty of care not to bench exhibits with a reported history of fractious behaviour. Show Managers and the Show Committee, in consultation with the Show Representative, have the right to require the removal of the latter exhibits from the Show. The Society requires that Exhibits remain on Exhibition until 4.00.pm. Kittens sold on the day of the Show must be placed in a suitable carry cage and can only be removed from the hall with the approval of the Show Manager. They must then be escorted by the Show Manager or his/her delegate to the door. Welcome everyone to the Societyʼs 44th Show, once again at the Forestville Memorial Halls, a great venue that offers our Burmese a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet the public. This yearʼs entries are about the same as lasr year in both sections, A warm welcome to all our judges: for Burmese: from South Africa, Gail Nel, from Victoria Peter Williams and from NSW Wendy Hamilton and Fiona Mangan. I ve not had to worry about any pesky ankle-bite My progeny were gorgeous babies Anyway, I ve left him at home today, so he ll just have to amuse himsel DB GD CH NOVACASTRA KISS ME KATE. Golden Oldies CCCA Ch, GDGC, ACT TGC Rosepark Snowdrop (lilac spay - born: 21/011996) Snowie is the youngest member of Burmese beauties sharing our home and this will be her 16th Burmese Show and 10th as a Golden Oldie. She took the baton from our beautiful old chocie girls, Rosie and Beanie. She started her show career as a 14 week old litter kitten (in a very active litter of 6 lilacs) in 1996, at the Cumberland Cat Show. These days she enjoys retirement and only comes out for the Burmese Show. Snowie is a very sweet natured girl and her favourite pastime is sleeping, so much so she sometimes doesn t even get out of bed to say goodbye, have a nice day, when we leave for work. Occasionally though she does wake to have a bite, a stretch and change beds what a life! So for Snowie and all our Burmese family, its retirement at its best a full pension, free medical, free housekeeping and a family that care! 15 Golden Oldies Db Gd, Ch. Novacastra Kiss Me Kate. (lilac spay born27/01/2003) My dear Katie is such a gentle soul and was a superb mum to her kittens. She liked to include me when her time was due, but now enjoys her life of leisure. Nothing suits her more than being cuddled on a lap and no matter where she seats herself, she always manages to find a ʻpillowʼ. That may be your arm, a cushion, the edge of furniture or the raised side of a donut bed. A creature of comfort no less. Who can blame her! Here she is in our courtyard where she quite fancies a nibble of grass, keeping a close eye on the birds and although nine, is still nimble enough to ch one if itʼs unwary or ensuring the neighbourʼs keeps a respectful distance.
