Each exhibitor must premium their first qualifying animal unless the exhibitor has another animal in that same species that is later selected as Breed Champion or Reserve Breed Champion. In the event an exhibitor has 2 or more Breed Champions or Reserve Breed Champions in a species, he/she must sell the first qualifying Champion or Reserve that is selected by the judge for sale order rotation. If an exhibitor qualifies more than one species, he/she must choose which animal they will sell within 10 minutes after the completion of the entire show If a species, by sex, does not qualify 2 animals, the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion will sell. This number will add to the 100 guaranteed in the sale. If owned by different exhibitors, all Grand and Reserve Grand Champions must sell. If exhibitors exhibit a Grand or Reserve Grand animal of one species, they do not have an option to select another specie to sell in the premium auction. If an exhibitor exhibits 2 Grand Champion or 2 Reserve Grand Champions of different species, they will have a choice of which specie they sell. Also, a Grand Champion in any specie must sell over a Reserve Grand Champion in any specie, if the same exhibitor owns both animals. Swine Only: Must have 4 animals in a breed to guarantee the breed champion for the sale. If less than 4 in a breed and the breed percentage is less than 0, they will show for sale selection against the crossbreeds. The number of sale animals from each breed will be derived from the percentage of animals entered in that breed, in relation to the total number of swine in the sale. An accurate percentage will determine the exact number that sell from each breed. Premium Auction animals must be individually owned by the exhibitor. Any violation of the rules will mean a forfeiture of show and auction privileges in the future. Any animal that does not get a ribbon is ineligible for the Premium Auction sale order. Each exhibitor may have only one (1) animal in the Premium Auction. Superintendents reserve the right to insert 2 animals from the larger breeds in each species, to keep an even sale order rotation. Each exhibitor must offer his or her own animal for the premium auction. Any variance from this rule must be with a written excuse signed by an Agriculture Education Teacher or 4H Club Leader and must have prior approval by the Livestock Show Committee Officers. $35.00 will be charged for each animal in the Premium Auction for expenses of the sale. Each premium sale exhibitor will be given a ticket for the Bidder s Feed when he/she has paid the thirty five dollars sale expense fee. The Parade of Grand and Reserve Grand Market Animals will be held prior to the auction. Exhibitors of these animals should be prepared to enter the sale arena at 6:30 p.m. The order of the Premium Auction will be as follows:

21 Offer Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Market Animals: Goats, Cattle, Sheep, and Swine. 1.) Offer 1/ of the goat 2.) Offer 1/ of the cattle 3.) Offer 1/2 of the sheep 4.) Offer 1/ of the swine 5.) Bonus the remaining ½ of the goats, followed by the remaining ½ of the cattle, followed by ½ of the remaining sheep, followed by ½ of the remaining swine. * All exhibitors not having an animal selected for the Premium Auction will be given a free ticket to the Bidder s Auction Feed. * Parents of all exhibitors are encouraged to purchase tickets to the Bidder s Feed at the price of $10.00 per ticket.
