Take Northfield Rd. to Bowen Rd. From the north, Beban Park Complex will be on the left; from the south, Beban Park Complex will be on the right. Follow signs to the Centennial Bldg. PARKING is available across the road from the Centennial Building, In designated areas. The area in front of the buildings is for loading and unloading only. There will be snacks, hot and cold drinks available by donation The City of Nanaimo has Leash and Poop-Scoop By-Laws. Please keep your dogs on leash at all times and clean up after them. The building will be open November 11 th & 12th - 7:00 am Dogs and equipment are left at the exhibitor s own risk. The Harbour City Dog Fanciers will not accept responsibility FOR LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS THERE WILL BE NO OVER NIGHT PARKING ON THE SHOW SITE. Centennial Building will open at 7 am each day and will be secured/locked each evening at 8 pm. 3 MOVE UP, SUBSTITUTION, REFUND POLICY Class changes. a. Lateral class changes a dog may be moved from the Breeder/Handler class to the appropriate age regulated class if the Breeder of record is unable to exhibit the dog. b. Class changes must be completed no later than one-half hour prior to the start of any regular judging on the day of the show. Moving up or moving to a lower level of competition. Any dog that has, according to the owner s records, completed the requirements for a UKC title may be at the next level of competition at the first event following the completion of requirements for the title. Refunds: Entry fee will be refunded ONLY if notified by 1 week prior to the show only with note from Veterinarian. Refunds will be mailed after the event All dogs must be individually registered with the UKC, or possess a TL (Temporary Listing) number on the day of the Show. TL numbers are available on line at: All UKC rule books may be found here: Classes offered: Licensed and Licensed Altered Classes Puppy 6 months to under 1 yr Junior 1 yr, under 2 yrs Senior 2 yrs, under 3 yrs Adult 3 yrs and up Breeder/Handler (6 mths and up, handled by breeder or member of breeder s family) Champion Grand Champion NOTE: Regular and Altered classes do not compete together. Junior Showmanship Classes Pee Wee over 2 years, under 4 yrs Sub-Junior 4 yrs, under 8 years Novice Junior, Open Junior 8 yrs, under 13 yrs Novice Senior, Open Senior (13 yrs, under 18 yrs) Non Licensed Classes Novice Puppy (3 6 mths, must have UKC reg #, TL #, or be from a UKC registered litter) Veteran (7 years and up, spayed and neutered may compete)
