7 WELCOME TO THE 2018 APA SEMI-ANNUAL SHOW ALL ENTRIES CLOSE April 9, 2018 Absolutely NO entries will be taken the day of the show, no exceptions ENTRY FEE $ 3.00 per head $ 6.00 double coops Showmanship Fee $ 5.00 if not entered in the show Please include payment with entry form. Make checks payable to: DFFC SHOWMANSHIP Saturday, 10:00 am RAFFLE The raffle will be held Sunday morning of the show at 9:00 am. RULES 1. All sick or extremely lousy birds will be removed from the show by the superintendent. 2. In case of an emergency or need be, The Dayton Fancy Feather Club reserve the right to substitute or add judges. Open show judges are not permitted to exhibit birds in the open show. 3. The DFFC will not be responsible for trophies or special offers by any specialty clubs for the awards. 4. The DFFC will not be responsible for property or animal damage in case of fire, theft or accident to any birds or persons, but precaution will be taken to avoid any mishaps. 5. No one will be allowed to handle any poultry or to remove eggs from the show coops, except their own, without the permission of the owner or show management. Show judges and Show Officials are exempt from the rule. 6. The building will open Friday from 9AM-10PM for coop in. Saturday the Building will open at 6AM for coop in. All birds must be coop in by 9AM for judging. The building will be closed form 5-7PM for dinner. The building will open back after dinner. Sunday morning the building will open at 7AM. Birds will be released after the awards on Sunday morning. 7. All poultry exhibited in the State of Ohio must be blood tested and have a negative test for Pullorum-Typhoid. All out-of-state Pullorum testing is acceptable in Ohio. Official Ohio State poultry testers will be available at coop times to check certificates and test any birds not previously blood tested. 8. If available sales coops are $ 3.00 per coop. Six Bantams or three Large Fowl limit per coop. No birds to be exchanged to or from show coops from Traders Row. 9. To avoid confusion and loss, no birds will be removed or exchanged from their coops until 10 AM Sunday (Approximate Coop-Out Time). No exceptions will be made. If you leave early, no entry in next years show. 10. All APA/ABA rules apply. All recognized and non recognized standard variety of chickens, turkeys, water fowl, and guineas are acceptable. 11. For those participating in showmanship, please bring an extra bird. 12. If another club and/or organization other than the DFFC is setting a table they will be allowed to have one raffle item.
