2 Little History about Midstate Mills, Inc. In 1935 G.D. Drum took a leap of faith, cashed in his life insurance policy and bought a small flour mill the former Maiden Roller Mills, Inc.. Over the course of 78 years, Midstate Mills, Inc. had grown into one of the last family owned and operated flour mills in the southeast. With the passing of Boyd Drum in 2011, and drought conditions in 2011 & 2012 Midstate Mills, Inc. had to be sold. So February 2013 Renovo Capital, LLC purchased the company and will continue producing quality flour products. The result are high quality but affordable products produced by the plant in Newton, NC. The flour mill manufactures Southern Biscuit Flour, Tenda Bake Cornmeal, Redi- Mix baking mixes and Tenda Bake Pancake Mix. JP Green Milling purchased the feed mill trademarks Big M Feed and Circle M Feeds. With the selling of Midstate Mills, Inc. I was asked what will happen with Midstate s K*9 Finest products. We formed Natural Rich, LLC and changed the name to Naturich s K*9 Finest to be able to continue supplying products and help canines all over the world. Let me tell you the way we got started in this venture, my son Joe shows angus cattle thru the 4-H, FFA, and the National Junior Angus Association. This picture is of Joe and his very first heifer. After a few years of showing, We were going to take Joe and 2 heifers to the National Junior Angus Show in Perry GA. This is a HUGE event with 1500 angus cattle and kids from all across the United States. Any nutrients that are not digested in the small intestine then have to be digested in the large intestine. Because of the increased rate of passage through the large intestine there is a decrease in digestion of these food stuffs.
