2 RULES Dogs to complete the two sections, Obedience and Agility in any order. Dog with the highest overall score is the winner. In the event of a tie, the dog with the fastest Agility time (relative to their height classification and competing level) will be the winner. OBEDIENCE: Maximum points possible to gain exercises of YOUR choice to be attempted, but ONE of them MUST be HEELWORK. Pick from any of the different value groups. Nominate your exercises on the day. The Obedience section will take place in the Walled Garden, separate from the Agility section. 10 POINT EXERCISES (Extra commands and encouragement allowed) 1) Short Heel on Lead 2) Short Recall 3) Short Retrieve of a toy to hand, on lead 4) Short Heel off Lead 15 POINT EXERCIES (Extra commands and encouragement allowed) 5) Heel on Lead 6) Heel off Lead 7) Recall with present in front & finish to Heel 8) Long Recall 9) Retrieve a dumbbell, no finish to Heel 20 POINT EXERCISES (No extra commands) 10) Short Sendaway and stop in any position, no recall to heel 11) Heelwork at normal pace 12) Test A recall to heel 13) Retrieve a dumbbell 14) Short Distance Control, 3 positions tested 25 POINT EXERCISES (No extra commands) 15) Heelwork at normal, fast and slow paces 16) Sendaway, drop & recall 17) Distance Control, 4 positions 18) Retrieve (Judges s article) 19) Positions on the move (2 positions will be tested) AGILITY: Maximum points possible to gain100 A clear round within the time at Level 3 = 100 points; Level 2 = 75 points; Level 1 = 50 points. All faults that a dog incurs will be translated into POINTS LOST i.e. 5 faults = 5 points deducted from your total score. LEVEL 3 course (most difficult) will include A scale, weaves, jumps and tunnels. LEVEL 2 course will be easier and have no weaves. LEVEL 1 course will be a very simple course suitable for beginner handler and dogs with an A scale, jumps and tunnels, no weaves. The first course to run will be the Level 3, that way competitors can then decide whether to run it and RISK losing points, or play safe and wait for the easier course. The 3 courses will be put up on our FB Page a couple of days in advance.

3 SHOW REGULATIONS 1. The Show will be held under the Licence, Rules and Regulations of the Irish Kennel Club Ltd. 2. The Show will be held at Streamstown, Malahide, Co. Dublin. The Show opens at 9.30 am. Judging commences am sharp. Entry fees are: 10 per dog. 3. Cheques etc to be made payable to Diana Collie 4. ENTRIES CLOSE SATURDAY 23 rd JUNE, Dogs under 18months of age are not eligible to enter. 6. Fingal Dog Club reserves the right to refuse any entry. 7. All dogs must be registered or transferred with the I.K.C. Ltd., save in the case of greyhounds duly registered with the Irish Coursing Club. 8. Fingal Dog Club will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained through accidents by exhibits, exhibitors or other persons attending the show. 9. Dogs must be kept under proper control at all times. 10. Exhibitors must clean up if their dogs foul the grounds. Suitable facilities will be provided for this. 11. 4 DIRECTIONS TO STREAMSTOWN, MALAHIDE: From South - follow signs at end of M50 for N32 MALAHIDE. When you reach the traffic lights at Hilton/Tesco, turn LEFT on to the R107 main Dublin to Malahide road. Follow this road towards MALAHIDE for just over 3kms. Go through traffic lights and STREAMSTOWN FARM is about 100 m. on the left. From North leave M1 at Junction 4 signed R132, MALAHIDE, SWORDS, and DONABATE. Keep following signs for MALAHIDE. Go through ESTUARY ROUNDABOUT and SEATOWN ROAD ROUNDABOUT. Take the FIRST turnoff at the MALAHIDE ROAD ROUNDABOUT, signed R106 MALAHIDE. Go straight through next mini roundabout. Turn RIGHT at traffic lights at T-junction, on to the R107, Dublin to Malahide road. Follow this road towards Dublin for 1.3 km and turn right into STREAMSTOWNFARM. If you get to traffic lights you have gone 100 m. too far. 5 ENTRY FORM TRIATHLON SATURDAY 7 th JULY, Entry Fee: 10 per Dog (Cheques payable to Diana Collie ) DECLARATION, UNDERTAKING AND AGREEMENT BY OWNER OR AGENT 1. I hereby declare that the dog/s entered by me as above are registered in my name with the IKC Ltd. 2. I hereby declare that the dog/s entered by me as above are not vicious and are bona-fide my property and I enter them subject to the rules of the IKC Ltd, and the regulations of the show which appear in the schedule and which I have read. 3. I hereby undertake not to bring within the precincts of the show any dog/s, suffering from any infection or contagious disease or which has been exposed to any such disease during a period of 6 weeks prior to the show. 4. In consideration of my entries being accepted, I hereby agree (1) to indemnify the IKC Ltd and/or its trustees of officials in respect of any damage or loss from whatsoever source arising, caused by, or to any dogs exhibited by me while in the precincts of the show and (2) that any decision given concerning me by the IKC Ltd or by any committee thereof in connection with any matter whatsoever arising through or at this show shall be communicated by the secretary of the IKC Ltd to all whom it may concern, and that any such decision together with a report of the proceedings in the matter may also be published together with my name, address and description. 5. I hereby undertake to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the IKC Ltd and its show. 6.
