ALL DOGS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE IRISH KENNEL CLUB. Owners/handlers must bring to the show their agility record books containing the officially recorded height of their dogs.

N.B. Handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 (Elementary) are not eligible for this class. For handlers or dogs which have qualified out of Grade 1 but have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 2 at Irish Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows, or elected to progress on points from Grade 1. N.B. Handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 (Elementary) are not eligible for this class. Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grade 1 or 2 or have elected to progress on points from Grade 2 at Irish Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 4, 5, 6 or 7. Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 4 or elected to progress on points from Grade 4 at Irish Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 6 or 7. Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 5 at Irish Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 5 or 7. Open to dogs which have gained a minimum of four first places at Grade 6 at Irish Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows. Two first places must be gained in Agility (not Jumping) Classes. 1. Warm up jumps and exercise area may be available for competitors. No practice will be allowed on agility equipment in the competition ring prior to competition. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations of the show will lead to automatic disqualification. 2. The committee reserves the right to refuse any entry. 3. Dogs under 18 months of age are not eligible to enter agility tests. 4. All wins prior to the day specified for the closing of entries shall be taken into account when entering any class. 5. It is the competitors responsibility to be available for their class. 6. No bitch in season is allowed to compete. Mating of bitches within the precincts of show grounds is forbidden. 7. Should the Judge be unable to fulfil the appointment, the committee reserves the right to appoint another Judge. 8. Should circumstances so dictate the Society, in consultation with the Judge, may alter arrangements as necessary. 9. Dogs must be kept under proper control at all times. 10. Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead when under test. A flat, close-fitting leather or webbing SHOW REGULATIONS collar is permitted, providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel as an integral part of the collar, i.e. not attached by a ring. 11. Food shall not be given or carried in the ring. 12. Handlers will be permitted to walk the agility courses before judging commences. 13. Any article carried by the handler is subject to the judge s discretion, but must be indicated to the judge prior to the commencement of test. 14. NO entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted when received: (a) on an official entry form (or photocopy thereof); or (b) if using one s own pre-printed entry form, when it contains ALL of the information requested on the official entry form (e.g. LTC/Reg No., Grade, etc.); (c) entries must be accompanied by correct payment. 15. Please Note, IKC Reg. No. or LTC No. must be given. Microchip number only is not sufficient. 16. All competitors must show respect for the judge. 5 EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE 1. The show will be held under the Licence, Rules & Regulations of the Irish Kennel Club Ltd. 2. The Committee of the WTCI reserves the right to refuse any entry. 3. Dogs under 6 months of age are not eligible to enter. 4. All wins prior to the day specified for the closing of entries shall be taken into account when entering any class. 5. It is the competitors responsibility to be available for their class. 6. Bitches in season are not allowed on the show grounds. 7. The mating of bitches within the precinct of the showground is forbidden. 8. Dogs must be kept under proper control at all times. 9. Food shall not be given or carried in the ring. 10. Any article carried by the handler is subject to the judge s discretion, but must be indicated to the judge prior to commencement of the test. 11. No entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted when received on official entry form (or photocopy) complete with correct payment. Entries close Monday 8th April Each dog s registration number MUST be given on the entry form, otherwise the entry will be returned. 13. The catalogue will be compiled from the entry forms and while every effort will be made to have the forms correctly interpreted, the Committee cannot accept any responsibility for mistakes, which bring the exhibitor within the purview of the IKC Ltd., Rule 15, Section 1, or for clerical errors that may occur during compilation 14. All competitors must show respect for the judge. Training rounds will only be allowed if prior permission has been given by the judge. 15. WTCI will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained through accidents by exhibits, exhibitors or other persons attending the show. 16. Exhibitors must clean up if their dogs foul the grounds. Suitable facilities will be provided for this. Any Exhibitor failing to clean up after their dog will be liable to a 25 fine 17. Judging will commence at 10am. The Committee of the WTCI reserves the right to appoint a substitute Judge if circumstances prevent an appointed Judge from fulfilling the appointment. No person will be allowed in the judging ring except the judge, show officials or an exhibitor taking a dog in for adjudication. The exhibit number for each dog must be clearly displayed by the Handler. The WTCI shall not be responsible for the exhibition of any exhibit in the ring. 18. Ring Numbers will be distributed at the show. NOTE NEW ADDITION TO IKC RULE 7 SECTION 1 Addition to the above rule: Failure to comply with the above will result in (a) the dog being disqualified from the event and (b) the exhibitor being fined The implementation of which shall be a normal (IKC) office routine. Please ensure that your dog is registered correctly before the day of the show and ensure that the registration number is on the entry form. OBEDIENCE CLASS DEFINITIONS PRE BEGINNERS is confined to dogs and handlers, which have not been awarded a first, place in any Obedience test under Irish Kennel Club Rules or under any Kennel Club recognised by the Irish Kennel Club BEGINNERS. Confined to dogs or handlers which have not been awarded an Obedience Green Star or awarded three or more first prizes (on or under 10 marks) in any obedience test under IKC Rules or under any Kennel Club recognised by IKC. Handlers will not be penalised for encouragement or extra commands except in the sit and down tests. In these tests, at the discretion of the Judge, handlers may face their dogs. Judge or Steward may not use the words 'Last Command' except in the sit and down tests NOVICE.Confined to dogs which have not been awarded an Obedience Green Star or four or more first prizes (on or under 10 marks under IKC regulations) in any Obedience class other than in Beginners Obedience class.
