4 SWEEPSTAKES Saturday, Apr 15 th 2017 Preceding Regular Conformation Classes Judge: Michelle Yeadon Juvenile Juvenile is open to all Boxer puppies six months and under twelve months of age regardless of place of birth. All dogs must be entered in one of the regular official classes on the same day. Dogs will be judged in one of the following four classes (divided by sex): Junior Puppy - 6 months and under 9 months Senior Puppy - 9 months and under 12 months For final judging the first place puppy from each of the classes will be brought together for the final judging of Best in. Best in - rosette & 50% of total fees collected for the Juvenile Runner Up in - rosette & 25% of total fees collected for the Juvenile 25% of fees collected will be retained by the club to defray costs **************************************************************************************************** Veteran Judge: Michelle Yeadon ~ following the judging of the Juvenile Veteran is open to all Boxer dogs 7 years of age and over and entered in a regular class or for exhibition only on the same day. Spayed and neutered dogs may compete provided they are also entered in exhibition only. Dogs to be judged in one of the following four classes (divided by sex): Junior Veteran - 7 years and under 10 years Senior Veteran 10 years and over For final judging the first place winner from each of the classes will be brought together for the final judging of Best in and Best Opposite Sex in Best in - rosette & 50% of total fees collected for the Veteran Runner Up in rosette & 25% of total fees collected for the Veteran 1 st in each class rosette 25% of fees collected will be retained by the club to defray costs

9 CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB SCHEDULE OF CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 2. The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: (*Includes the dog awarded Winners.) Dogs Competing* to 5 6 to 9 10 to or more Points Allocated* To determine the number of championship points earned by a dog awarded Winners, total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above. A dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused or ordered from the ring by the judge shall not be included in the calculation for championship points. Further section {C} has been added and states the dog must: have earned at least one 2 point win either at the breed level or group level. The system provides for additional points if a dog awarded winners also places in the Group as listed here under. In no case may a dog earn more than five (5) points at a single show. To earn a Canadian Championship, a dog must earn at least ten championship points under at least three different judges; and be individually registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, or have a CKC Event Registration Number (ERN).
