12 MOVE-UPS FOR OBEDIENCE & RALLY After a dog earns a title, it may be moved up to the next class in a future trial even though the closing date for the trial has passed. This move-up may be requested if, according to the owner s records, the dog has completed the requirements for the title after the closing date of the trial in which the advanced entry is to be made. The request for a move-up must be in writing and presented to the superintendent or trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move-ups may be approved, provided the next level class and judge are available and the class has not reached its limit. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS The show site will be available to exhibitors at 3:00 PM, Friday, August 26, and from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, Building will open on Sunday, August 28, 2015 at 7:30 AM. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately after close of show on Sunday, August 28, Please bring covering to put under your crates. Breed and Group trophies will not be given out until 30 minutes after completion of the last class in which all eligible dogs are exhibited. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show None will be mailed. Ouachita Valley Dog Training Club, Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. PLEASE NOTE: Refund of entry fees for bitches entered in Obedience that come in season after closing date of this show may be obtained by sending a veterinarian s certificate to the Trial Secretary. This certificate must be postmarked before the opening day of the show or given to the Trial Secretary before the start of the show. A $5.00 service fee will be deducted from refund. Obedience Fees Collected by AKC. Effective for events held on and after January 1, 2009, the AKC will collect a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for the first entry of a dog in all AKC licensed and member dog shows, obedience trials and tracking tests. The current 50 recording fee will continue to be collected. A show-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all recording fees and Event Service Fees for the American Kennel Club. (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Ch. 11, Sect.2) Rally Fees Collected by AKC. At every licensed or member club rally trial, a recording fee of $3.00 shall be required for the entry of each dog. (AKC Rally Regulations, Ch. 1, Sect. 3) CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. AC- COUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS. There will be no refund for duplicate entries.

13 Dogs need to be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Trial Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Crating space is limited. No ex-pens will be allowed. No chairs shall be placed in designated crating areas. OVDTC reserves the right to stack crates, if necessary. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dog(s) and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees will be made. All dogs must be on leash when not in the ring. Dogs will not be allowed in the restrooms in the Civic Center. Exhibitors MUST clean up after their dogs, both at the show site and at the hotel. The hotel sites are considered part of our show site. All AKC rules and regulations apply. RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a $30.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civic disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond control of the Club or the Trial Secretary. The show-giving Club, Trial Secretary, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. The Ouachita Valley Dog Training Club, Inc. does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for these events. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by telegram prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. A $5.00 administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations made prior to closing of entries.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event or of the parties, and any AKC approved judge judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition. Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs, which, according to their owner's records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC (For complete rule refer to Chapter 11, Section 3).
