FEBRUARY 8, PM # & 02 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS EXHIBITORS SHOULD FOLLOW THEIR VETERINARIAN S RECOMMENDATION to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS on entry blanks, and for entering the same dog twice, or for entering a dog in a class in which it is ineligible to compete, regardless of who makes such errors. ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED (except bitches in season) in event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the show committee. If because of weather, riots, civil disturbances, fire, Act of God, act of a public enemy, strikes, or any other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee(s) will be made. BITCHES IN SEASON ARE NOT PERMITTED TO COMPETE in obedience trials. The Obedience Club Dog Club of San Diego County, Inc., will refund all but whatever is necessary to cover the AKC entry fees for bitches unable to compete for this reason. Request for refund must be given to the Trial Secretary prior to the start of judging or by letter postmarked not later than the day before the opening of the trial. MOVE-UPS After a dog earns a title, it may be moved up to the next class in a future trial even though the closing date for the trial has passed. This move-up may be requested if, according to the owner s records, the dog has completed the requirements for the title after the closing date of the trial in which the advanced entry is to be made. The request for a move-up must be in writing and presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move-ups may be approved, provided the next level class (i.e., Novice to Open) and judge are available and the class has not reached its limit. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The club and/or its Trial Secretary will not be responsible for, and are not obligated to furnish any service for, notifying exhibitors or their agents of Class judging. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or their handlers alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. NO DOG MAY BE ENTERED OR SHOWN UNDER A JUDGE AT AN OBEDIENCE TRIAL if the dog has been owned, sold, held under lease, handled in the ring, or has been regularly trained or instructed within six months prior to the date of the obedience trial by the judge or by any person residing in the same household as the judge. See Chap 1 Sec. 14 of the obedience regs. THE TRIAL-GIVING CLUB, THE TRIAL SECRETARY, their agents or employees assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, spectators, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to any child not under the control of their parents or guardians. THERE WILL BE A $20.00 SERVICE CHARGE for any returned check. Checks not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry fee. DECLINATION OF ENTRIES: The club may decline any entry for cause and may refuse to receive, or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the club or any official thereof. DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave immediately after unless required for further judging. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE: Please make every effort to clean up your area, either on the show grounds or in the parking area. Because of the carelessness of some exhibitors, show sites are becoming more difficult to obtain. The Obedience Club Dog Club of San Diego County, Inc, asks your cooperation in cleaning up after yourself and your dogs. By signing the entry form at this show you are agreeing that all clean-up for your dogs is your responsibility. ANY EXHIBITOR WHO DOES NOT ADHERE TO THESE RULES MAY BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION

"The Dennis VanSickle Challenge Trophy" may be retired if won by the same handler 5 times, not necessarily with the same dog nor at consecutive shows. A smaller memorial trophy will be presented to each individual winner at each show. 27. H/S German Shepherd Dog with an Obedience and Tracking Title from the Regular Classes. "The Gustavo "Gus" Paul Memorial Trophy". This Memorial may be retired if won by the same handler 3 times, not necessarily with the same dog nor at consecutive shows. A smaller Memorial Trophy from "Gus" private collection will be presented to each individual winner at each show. Tall wood trophy on Stone Base, with 4 wood columns supporting a Stone Base with Breed likeness atop. MISCELLANEOUS & FSS CLASSES 28. Highest Scoring Dog in the Miscellaneous Classes - Glass Vase, ALL TROPHIES MUST BE CLAIMED THE DAY OF THE SHOW. TERRIER GROUP 15. 5 PARKING & CRATING IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS ALL BUILDINGS WILL BE OPEN AT 6:00 AM. SPECIALTY PARKING IS AVAILABLE AFTER 1PM ON THURSDAY. NO ACCESS TO ANY BUILDING BEFORE 6 AM FRIDAY. NO EXCEPTIONS. EXERCISE PENS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN ANY BUILDING. CRATES MUST BE STACKED. FLEXIBLE AND/OR RETRACTABLE LEADS ARE PROHIBITED IN AND AROUND ALL THE BUILDINGS DURING SHOW HOURS. CRATES AND TABLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE AISLES OF THE SHOW AREA, OR WITHIN 30 FEET OF ANY RING UNLESS MARKED OTHERWISE. RINGS WILL BE IN THE BING CROSBY HALL, EXHIBIT HALL AND PAT O'BRIEN HALL. ELECTRICITY WILL BE VERY LIMITED INSIDE ALL BUILDINGS. GUARDS WILL PATROL THROUGHOUT THE SHOW. FOR THE REGULAR CLASSES AND ROTTWEILERS ONLY The Southwestern Rottweiler Club of San Diego in conjunction with their Specialty offers a ribbon and trophy for Highest Scoring Rottweiler in Obedience and Highest Scoring Rottweiler in Rally. Must Have a Qualifying Score. (Best time in rally will break ties of same score). All Rottweilers with a qualifying score in obedience or rally will receive a stuffed toy and neck ribbon with SRCSD club medallion REGULAR CLASSES ONLY. Exhibitors must be present to receive awards, none will be mailed. Awards will be presented at the end of judging when all scores are tallied. 6 Day of Show Parking will be $10.00 There is a 3 day parking pass for $10 for all exhibitors. (If you ask for it) OVERNIGHT SET UP AND MOVE IN PARKING Limited spaces with full hook-ups are available through the Fairgrounds on a first come, first served basis. For availability and reservations, call (858) x No generators in use before 6:00 AM or after 10:00 PM. Privileged set up and move in parking on show grounds Charge $35.00 for each night. If advanced payment for privileged parking is not paid by February 6, 2016, no guarantee of parking in preferred area can be made. If paid at gate on night before show, charge is $40.00 per night, with no guaranteed parking. REQUIREMENT - All units must be self contained, no water. ELECTRICITY Because of rising costs, electricity will be very limited in the three show buildings. It will not be available anywhere outside, except for motorhomes. Security guards on duty. No holding of parking space for others. Exhibitors will be held responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates, both during and after the show. Waste water may not be emptied on the grounds or drained into open containers. Any unnecessary argument or abusive language will cause forfeiture of parking privileges, without a refund. HANDICAPPED PARKING is available to those with proper DMV plates. Handicapped parking is to provide easy (paved) access, not necessarily next to the rings. Silver Bay Kennel Club & The Obedience Club of San Diego County, Inc. assume no responsibility for fire, theft and/or loss or damage to any vehicle or its cargo. All parking is at your own risk. All Motorhome Parking will enter thru Solano Gate Only. Specialty parking available after 1:00 PM Thursday. No entrance into buildings until 6:00 AM Friday.
