3 Rules & Regulations: 1. The Show will be held under the rules of the Irish Kennel Club Limited. 2. The Show will be held at National Show Centre, Cloghran, Dublin. Judging will commence at 10 am sharp for BOTH SHOWS. 3. No claim will be considered in the event of an exhibit being late for its class. No persons will be allowed into the judging ring except the Judge, Show Officials, or an Exhibitor taking a dog in for adjudication. The exhibit number of each dog must be clearly displayed by its handler. 4. In the event of any appointed Judge failing to keep his/her appointment, the Committee reserve the right to appoint another Judge or Judges. 5. The Committee reserve the right to alter the proposed order of judging if this should become necessary. 6. Entry Fees AITBA Breed Championship Show : For Tibetan Mastiff, Shih Tzu, Tibetan Terrier, Lhasa Apso, Tibetan Spaniel, Euro for first dog, Second and each subsequent dog Euro Baby Puppy fee 5.00 Breeders Group Free Car Park & Catalogue 4 on day of the show (for both shows) Free to Members Entry Fees for ORIENTAL BREEDS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW Oriental show Open to the following breeds ; Akia Inu, American Akita, Shar Pei, Chow Chow, Japanese Spitz, Japanese Chin, Japanese Shiba Inu, Pug, Pekingnese, Chinese Crested, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Tibetan Spaniel, Tibetan Terrier, Tibetan Mastiff, Thai Ridgeback, Korean Jindo Euro 20 first entry, Second and subsequent entries 8.00 Stakes classes ONLY Car Park & Catalogue 4 on day of show (for both shows) Free to members 7. Postal entries will be received up to and including 4 th January Online entries will be received up till 11 th January Committee reserve the right to reject any entry, advert or other insertion in the Catalogue. 9. Ineligible Entries. A transfer of an incorrect entry as to the sex or breed is allowed if reported to the Secretary's Office prior to commencement of judging. A dog entered in a class for which it is not eligible may be transferred to the Open Class in that breed, but in no other respects. 10. Registrations: All dogs entered for competition at this show must be registered at the IKC Ltd., Unit 36, Greenmount Office Park, Harold's Cross, Dublin The Catalogue will be available on the day of the show, price Euro 4.00 (for both events) Catalogue free to AITBA members. 12. Car Park is FREE 13. The Catalogue will be compiled from the entry forms and while every effort will be made to have the forms correctly interpreted, the Committee cannot accept any responsibility for mistakes, which may bring exhibitors within the purview of the IKC Ltd., Rule 15, Section 1, or for clerical errors that may occur during compilation. 14. The Promoting Body will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained through accident by exhibits, exhibitors, or other persons attending the Show. 15. The Promoting Body shall be the Show Committee and all disputes shall be dealt with by the Show Committee. Parties to any dispute shall have the right to appeal to the IKC Ltd. 16. Exhibitors must clean up after their dogs. Suitable facilities will be provided for this purpose. Any 1

4 Exhibitor found not cleaning up after their dog will be liable to a Euro 30 fine. 17. Rosettes for all BOB, GS and rserve GS winners, Best baby puppy in breeds, BIS, BPIS, stakes classes. Trophy for all BOB, List of trophies and specials will be in catalogue. CLASS DEFINITIONS (The word Dog includes both sexes) Baby Puppy Class is confined to dogs over four and under six months of age on the day of the Show. Dogs entered in this class are not eligible to challenge for the Green Star and may not take part in any further competition except Best Puppy In Show A Puppy Class is confined to dogs over six and under twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show computed from and inclusive of the date of its birth A Junior Class is for dogs between 9 and 18 calendar months of age on the first day of the show, computed from and inclusive of the date of its birth. An Intermediate Class is for dogs between 15 and 24 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show, computed from and inclusive of its date of birth., An Adult Class is for dogs between 24 and 36 calendar months of age on the first day of the show, computed from and inclusive of the date of its birth. An Open Class is for dogs over 15 months of age on the first day of the show, computed from and inclusive of the date of its birth. A Champion Class is for dogs who have gained the title of Champion under Irish Kennel Club rules or under a recognised Kennel Authority confirmed by the date of closing of entries **** A Veteran Class is for dogs over eight years of age on the first day of the show, computed from and inclusive of the date of its birth. Please note A Veteran Dog who is a Champion may enter in either Veteran or Champion class but not both NB. A Dog or bitch maybe be entered in ONE BREED CLASS ONLY (no double entries). A BREEDERS CLASS is for a minimum of three and maximum of five exhibits of the same breed and variety without distinction of sex, entered at the show and BRED BY THE SAME PERSON (same kennel name), even if not the breeders property - this class is FREE to enter!!!! 8 We have kept entry fees as low as we can for both shows and the STAKES classes are JUST 3!!!!!! 2 Sets of GS for the 5 TIBETAN BREEDS We welcome both the Tibetan Spaniel Association and the Tibetan Terrier Club of Ireland who also hold their club championship shows.
