4 BUILDING INFORMATION Meow Wolf started working with Ben Mohr of Barker Realty in July of 2014 in hopes of securing a space for Meow Wolf s first permanent installation. The old Silva Lanes had been on the market for six years, with only minimal interest. Vince Kadlubek of Meow Wolf worked for George RR Martin at Martin s Jean Cocteau Theater and thought Mr. Martin might be interested in the prospect of owning the building. Over the course of the next four months, Martin and Meow Wolf hammered out the details and fought off interest from five other buyers to secure the building. George RR Martin is the owner of the building, and will act as Meow Wolf s landlord over the span of a 10-year lease. The 33,000 sq. ft building sits on 2.6 acres of land. $2.7M worth of renovations will transform the building and the parking lot into a brand new space, fit with a new roof, new HVAC, new electrical, skylights, and a beautifully landscaped parking lot with largescale sculptures, trees, and LED lighting. The building s renovation was designed by Meow Wolf and local architect, Autotroph Designs. Constructive Assets, Inc. lead the construction of project and was also responsible for the renovation of The Jean Cocteau Theater, also owned by Martin. Conveniently located in the center of town, Meow Wolf s Art Complex has direct access to southside families through Rufina Drive., and access to eastside residents through the Siler/Alameda connection. The centerpiece to Meow Wolf s Art Complex is a 22,000 sq. ft. attraction called House of Eternal Return, a follow-up to the group s wildly successful The Due Return exhibit that opened in Meow Wolf s Art Complex also houses a venue space, a gift shop, classic gallery space, and The David Loughridge Learning Center, a 2,000 sq. ft. workshop programmed by Meow Wolf s Arts Education Program, CHIMERA.

5 WHO IS MEOW WOLF? Meow Wolf is an arts and entertainment production company that creates immersive, multi-media art experiences that transport audiences of all ages into fantastical, explorable realms with discoverable narratives. This unique fusion of art and entertainment gives audiences in-depth fictional worlds to explore at their own pace and to the degree of their interest. The exhibitions are a combination of jungle gym, mystery house, children s museum, music and immersive maximalist art exhibit. Meow Wolf s art experiences include structural elements that allow for climbing and multi-level exploration, hands-on musical expressions, digital technology and cutting-edge interactivity. The group originally organized as an informal collective in 2008 by a small group of dedicated Santa Fe creatives. Meow Wolf has now created 22 fully-immersive exhibits in eight different cities across the United States including San Antonio, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans and New York. To prepare for a first permanent installation, Meow Wolf organized as an LLC in 2014 with six equity partners: Vince Kadlubek, Sean Di Ianni, Matt King, Emily Montoya, Caity Kennedy, and Corvas Brinkerhoff. House of Eternal Return welcomed more than 400,000 guests in its first year and was featured in national and international news that touched on subjects as wide ranging as the exhibition itself, the shows within, the Meow Wolf collective and the technologies they ve deployed. Refelcting the success of the exhibit Meow Wolf also garnered several national awards for its first year 2017 TEA award for Connected Immersion on a Limited Budget, TripAdvisor 2017 Certificate of Excellence. Meow Wold has also stimulated job creation and increased tourism within Santa Fe and the northern New Mexico.

6 HOUSE OF ETERNAL RETURN Meow Wolf set out to create an unprecedented arts and entertainment experience as the centerpiece to the Meow Wolf Art Complex. House of Eternal Return is the follow-up to Meow Wolf s wildly successful exhibit The Due Return which opened at The Center of Contemporary Art in Santa Fe in House of Eternal Return tells the story of an incredible Mendocino, CA family in the midst of a dimensional rift. Locked away in their Victorian house are portals beyond time and space, leading into realms of magic, magnificence, and imagination. Who is this family? What happened in their house? Where do these portals lead? All these questions are answered through the exploration of Meow Wolf s 22,000 sq. ft. exhibition. Meow Wolf specializes in a unique form of immersive art installation that results in interactive, explorable worlds of fantastic and narrative. Meow Wolf has created over 20 temporary exhibitions in eight different cities since House of Eternal Return is Meow Wolf s first permanent exhibit, and by far its largest, 10 times the size of its predecessor, The Due Return! The installation was constructed by a team of more than 135 local artists, builders, musicians, storytellers, and computer programmers from spring 2015 through spring The experience is appropriate for people of all ages, supplying children with a fantastic world to play within and giving adults a sophisticated artistic experience with a narrative depth, all of which comes together to create a unique environment. House of Eternal Return has had an immediate success and continues to be a premiere family attraction for both locals and tourists, and has become a Santa Fe must-see art experience alongside SITE Santa Fe, Georgia O Keefe Museum and The International Folk Art Museum among many other Santa Fe Attractions.

7 THE VENUE SPACE Meow Wolf s Venue space features a stage and façade with a unique design bolstered by one-of-a-kind projects. The Venue is located within Meow Wolf s House of Eternal Return, deepening the uniqueness of the environment. In 2017 Yelp named the venue as one of the top ten locations to see a show in the United States. In the venue s first year it has hosted dozens of sold-out events showcasing international, national, and local acts. It provides weekly programming to create an unrivaled calendar of live music within the Santa Fe scene. Notable acts have included: CocoRosie, Angel Olsen, Devendra Banhart, Jonathan Richman, Frank Iero, Nicolas Jarr, Itchy-O, Princess Nokia, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Carlos Madina and more many more. 8 ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM CHIMERA The David Loughridge Learning Center is the headquarters of Meow Wolf s Arts Education Program CHIMERA. CHIMERA teaches digital design, computer programming, sculpture, narrative storytelling, painting, film and other creative mediums to students of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds with an aim at integration and collaborative processes. Meow Wolf believes strongly in using art as a way to grow collaborative social skills, knowing first-hand that the languages of cooperation are activated when artists create together. Program activities include on-site workshops, internships, summer camp, subsidized school visits to the Art Complex and in-school instruction which takes place in classrooms primarily within the Santa Fe Public School system. Program activities on-site include: artist lead workshops, internships, larger cross-media summer collaborative projects and subsidized school visits for field trips. CHIMERA also offers in-school instruction by traveling its platform throughout the school year to classrooms in Santa Fe public school system and beyond. CHIMERA provides a platform to convey modern, applicable job skills to future generations of young artists, teaching new forms of creative engagement through art, creativity, technology, collaboration and play. The David Loughridge Learning Center is dedicated to the memory of David Loughridge, a member of Meow Wolf who passed away in January of David was a beloved member of the Meow Wolf community and was key the collective s growth into major projects. His spirit still drives Meow Wolf s process today.

9 THE GIFT SHOP & CAFE / TAP ROOM GIFT SHOP The gift shop located within the Meow Wolf art complex features Meow Wolf designed products as well as crafts and art from the local Santa Fe community. It is also a primary storefront location for Future Fantasy Delight products, which is the feature fashion and accesory from Meow Wolf artist Nico Salazar.
