It is informational and I love that there are facts at the end of the story that teaches more about the animal itself. The pictures are wonderful, the real ones as well as the drawings. And the kids are just every day kids, no special powers except for one thing. They all BELIEVE!This book would be a great addition to any classroom and also for parents to read to their younger children. I would recommend it to everyone.can't wait for the next one. It's about the Wolf. A wonderful blend of fact, fiction and imagination! What the Magic Tree House series did for history, I can see this series doing for wildlife. Read alone or read as a family, this book offers a lot to think about and discuss...cheetahs, endangered wildlife, friendships, family, dealing with the playground bully, and the power of imagination and belief. I like that the kids' oldest brother shows them that with magical beads they can take wild animals from around the world. I like that it has a kind of sad ending (because they had to say goodbye to the cheetahs) but it was really good! I have a question: when will "I...Am...Wolf!" come out?" I...AM...CHEETAH! is the first book in The Wild Animal Kids Club series. I'm so glad there will be more exciting adventures to follow. This book is an amazing combination of entertainment and education. It has just enough imaginative kid stuff mixed with interesting facts to keep the reader engrossed while curious and laughing. The importance of learning about endangered species cannot be over-emphasized, but often, books dealing with the subject are boring and preachy. This book is anything but. Stephanie J. Teer has created a page-turner and a wonderfully illustrated book which is very special. Her characters are real-world kids who interact and talk just like current kids. Stephanie's interest in and dedication to the wild animals of the world is quite apparent and her writing is genuinely motivated by this very worthy cause. Put fun characters, good writing, and sincere purpose together and you have a winner. I...AM...CHETTAH! is a winner! My 10 year old daughter loves this book and can't wait for the next one in the series to release. Raising awareness in our kids is so important and it's so great to see her passionate about wild

4 animals. Highly recommend for the animal lovers out there. What a delightful book for children.not only does the author create awareness of the plight of endangered animals, in this case the Cheetahs, but also brings out lessons about bullying, fair play, compassion and the will to stand up for your principles. All of that in a compelling story the kids will love. Awesome kids book-and parents will enjoy reading along too! My girls ages 6, 7 and 9 loved it. We couldn't put it down, finished it in less than a week! While I think it makes a good independent read for youngsters, it also covers topics that make great conversation starters for families regarding friendship, bullying and animals. Highly recommend! We are looking forward to the next book in the series! What a great book wonderful for the imagination, my grandson had so many questions about the cheetah and the adventure. He absolutely loved it.
