PECAN TREE Pecan Tree Pecan trees are usually found in deep rich soil. The tree s wood is reddish-brown. Pecan nuts were the Indian's favorite nut from trees. The largest pecan tree is in Franklin County and is 111 inches for the circumference of the tree, and 115 feet tall.

MAGNOLIA TREE Magnolia Tree This tree was seen over 20,000,000 years ago. Southern Magnolia Trees can grow up to at least 90 feet. The Japanese Magnolia has bright pink flowers and the Butterfly Japanese Magnolia has creamy yellow flowers.

MOCKING BIRD Mocking Bird They are medium size songbird with a long tail. Mocking birds have small heads and long thin bills. Their colors are gray- brown and are paler on the breast and belly. The Northern Mocking bird likes to show that it is present. The northern live in towns, suburbs, backyards, parks, open land, forest edges, and low elevations.

SAGO PALM TREE Sago Palm tree The sago palm, which is a member of the cycad family can take up to 50 years to reach maturity giving others time to enjoy its tropical landscape or as a houseplant. The male sago palm has a large yellow cone in the middle and the female reproduces structure contains bright orange seeds. The Sago Palm Tree is native to tropical Southern Japan, but is found in the Southern United States in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and in Puerto Rico. The Sago palm tree is recognized by its feathery dark green leaves that curl up on the sides. Its trunk is often invisible, since this very slow-glowing plant takes a lot of years to reach maturity.

TEXAS LONGHORN The Texas Longhorn is a type of cattle known for their horns, which can reach to 120 inches tip to tip range. Horns can have a little upward turn in their tips or even triple twists. The longhorn was the first cattle that stepped in North America. And also it was the only cattle that grew up without any human management.

FERAL HOG Feral Hog A feral hog is simply any free-ranging pig that is surviving on its own in the wild without human ownership. Colors or actions are not important; it is still a type of pig or boar. Any loose hog in the wild is bad news to wildlife and habitat resources. Feral Hogs are very strong and destructive; they are from Texas and have taken a liking to their natural habitat. They are mostly in Texas or Virginia.
