2 Dear REGAPCT Friend: REGAP of Connecticut, Inc. (a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization) would like to thank all the companies, organizations and individuals who donated to this event. Without their generosity, this auction would not be possible. All proceeds from PETSAFFAIR will go to care for our rescue greyhounds, which includes but is not limited to their veterinary care and food. Join us in thanking everyone for their support and be sure to patronize all the companies and organizations after the event to thank them for their assistance in making PETSAFFAIR possible. REGAP of Connecticut, Inc. is devoted to educating the public about the joys of greyhounds as companion animals and finding responsible, caring homes for as many retired racing greyhounds as possible. Schedule of Events: 8:00am 3:00pm Tag Sale 11:00am 3:00pm PETSAFFAIR, Silent Auction, Bake Sale, 50/50 Raffle, Greyhound Meet & Greets, and Cook-out 1:00pm Dog Contests Silent Auction Guidelines: Each item has a Starting Bid Amount. This is the minimum amount an auction item will be sold for. Each item also has a Buy Now option. This allows the auction lot to be purchased at a predetermined price. If you are interested in purchasing a Silent Auction Lot at the Buy Now price, legibly print your name, phone number and address on the silent auction sheet next to the Buy Now option and let one of our Volunteers know so they can immediately remove the lot. Once your Buy Now bid is accepted, you will be asked to purchase the item and it will be withdrawn from the Silent Auction. Each item will have predetermined bid amounts. Bids will only be accepted in the predetermined denominations. To place a silent auction bid, legibly print your name, phone number and address next to the next to the amount you would like to bid. All new bids must be higher than the previous bid. The auction will close at 3:00PM, at which time the highest bid on each bid sheet will be declared the winner. Payments must be made within 7 days of notification. If payment is not received within this time, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder. Payments must be made in cash or by check. 2
