1 CUMBERLAND CAT CLUB SHOW By Carole Gainsbury 26th of August, 2017 I would like to thank Veda Price, for the invitation to judge at this years show. A great show with a wonderful atmosphere, thank you to the exhibitors bringing some lovely cats the show and thank you to Lillian Eames who looked after me and handle the cats with great care. IMPERIAL CLASS - AC GR PR NEUTER MALE 93 IMP, Miss J M Stewart, Gr PR Barleyfields PadingtonBear ( PER d ( 4) Red Self Persian Male Neuter, born Handsome boy with a good top of head, neat well furnished and nicely placed ears, smooth skull, round good orange eyes, snub nose, full wide cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. He has a large framed body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a well prepared sound red coat of good soft textured down to his full plumed tail. GRAND CLASS - AC NON-SELF PERSIAN CHAMPION ADULT MALE 9 Gr, Ms J McCluskey, Ch Precious Paws Blue Heaven, (PER a 21 33(13b12)Blue Tabby Colourpoint Male, born ,Good top of head, neat well placed and nicely furnished ears, smooth skull, round blue eyes, snub nose, good width to cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. He has a well grown body with strong legs and rounded tufted paws, covered by soft textured a pale coat with some shading to the back and complemented by his blue tabby points colour to mask, legs and full tail. GRAND CLASS - AC NON SELF PERSIAN CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE 10 Gr, Dr L Young, Ch Levina Freya (PR f (11) Tortoiseshell Adult Female, born Stunning girl with a good top of head, nicely placed ears and well furnished, smooth skull, round good orange eyes, snub nose, full wide cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. She has a good size body of good substance with strong legs, rounded paws and a balanced full tail. Covered by a well prepared silky textured black coat with shades of red through out her coat all paws broken in colour.

2 R, Gr, Mr J H Knight & Miss M J Cooke, Ch Anna (PER g 03 (12 2) Blue Tortie & White Female Adult, born Another pretty girl with a good top of head neat well furnished ears and nicely placed. Smooth skull, round orange eyes, snub nose, wide cheeks, almost level bite and a firm chin. She has a good shaped body with strong legs and rounded paws covered by a soft textured white coat with shades of mid blue and mid cream throughout her coat down to her full plumed tail. TABBY OR TORTIE-TABBY POINT BIRMAN KITTEN MALE 176a 1st Mr A & Mrs D Brown Dalteema Digby (SBI e 21 (13c17) Cream Tabby Pointed Birman Male Kitten with good Birman type, born The skull is broad, strong and rounded with well placed medium size ears, medium length nose with slight dip in profile, full rounded cheeks tapering towards the muzzle, level bite and a firm chin. Good weight to his long body covered by a well prepared soft textured off white coat with a slight golden hue, complemented by the cream tabby mask developing on his face, just about spreading above his eyes with an M to his forehead, thumb prints to his ears, medium strong legs and short round thickset paws, paler bars to his legs and rings to his bushy tail. gloves, socks are even not a brilliant white hence giving the benefit of doubt, gauntlets seem to be wide at the base and going to a point three quarters up the hocks. 2nd Mr N Porter, Elmore Elrondofrivendell (SBI a 21(12c2) Blue Tabby pointed Birman Male Kitten with good Birman type developing, born Broad skull strong and rounded with well placed medium size ears, medium length nose with slight dip in profile, good width to rounded cheeks tapering towards the muzzle, level bite and a firm chin. He has good weight to his long body, covered by a silken texture bluish white coat, mask developing well just above his eyes, M to forehead thumb prints to ears just a little brindled around his eyes and muzzle, with medium length strong legs and round short paws, white gloves are even but sliding off each side, even white socks which are very low, white gauntlets are narrow finishing three quarters up the hock.

3 TABBY OR TORTIE-TABBY POINT BIRMAN KITTEN FEMALE 176b 1st & BOB, Messers & D Hayward, Milyard Xara (SBI n 21(13c11) Seal Tabby Point Birman Female Kitten with good Birman type, born Broad strong rounded skull, medium well placed ears, slight dip in profile with a medium length nose slightly rounded at the tip. almost round expressive good blue eyes still developing in colour, full rounded cheeks tapering toward the muzzle, level bite and a firm chin. She has a long body of good substance, covered by a well groomed pale beige coat, complemented with seal tabby points colour to mask, spreading nicely above her eyes still a little brindled on her cheeks with spotted whisker pads, thumb prints to hers, lighter bars to legs and rings to the bushy tail. Strong medium length legs with short thickset rounded paws, Nice white even gloves and socks, with white gauntlets good width at the base travelling three quarter up the hock finishing to a point. 2nd Mr A & Dalteema Lucy Locket (SB1e 21 (13c17) Cream Tabby Point Female Kitten with good Birman type still developing, Born A sweet girl with strong broad rounded skull, medium size ears and well placed. Medium length nose with slight dip in profile, almost round good blue eyes, spreading deeper in colour from the iris, good width to her cheeks tapering towards her muzzle, level bite and a firm chin. She has a long body of good weight. covered by a well prepared soft in texture silken pale cream coat, cream tabby markings to her mask still developing above her eyes and a wee bit brindled around her muzzle, she has a faint M to her forehead and thumb prints to ears, pale bars to legs and rings to a bushy tail. Medium length strong legs and thickset round paws, gloves and socks are even across the feet and could be cleaner, gauntlets could also be cleaner, fairly even finishing three quarters up her hocks. AC BIRMAN KITTEN 688 1st, Messers & D Hayward, Milyard Xara (SBI n 21(13c11) Seal Tabby Point Birman Female Kitten, born see Earlier Report. 2nd Mr & Mrs R & D Dobson, Maysula Tanqueray (SBI n (13c1) Seal Pointed Birman Male Kitten with good Birman type still developing, born His skull is nicely rounded, strong and broad with medium size ears well placed, round fairly deep blue eyes still developing at the out edge, Slight dip in the profile and a little rounded to the tip, full rounded cheeks tapering to a still developing muzzle, level bite and a fairly firm chin. Long body of good weight, covered by a well prepared silken textured pale beige coat with slight shading to the back, his seal points mask is developing well just a wee bit of brindled under the eyes good depth of colour to his ears and bushy tail, strong medium in length legs, rounded short strong paws, white gloves are even wee bit scalloped across the top along with his socks, the white gauntlets are just under three quarters up the hock fairly broad at the base and tapering up. 3rd Messers R Mlynek & D Hayward, Mlyward Xandra (SBI f (13c6) Seal Tortie Point Birman Female still needs time to mature, born Broad round strong skull, medium size ears set well apart, slight dip in profile with a medium length nose slightly rounded towards the tip of the nose. Almost round good blue eyes, wide cheeks tapering towards the muzzle, level bite and fairly firm chin. She has a long body of good substance covered by a soft texture medium length beige coat complemented by her tortie points colour of seal with shades of red distributed well within the mask, paler to her legs and showing all colours in her bushy tail, medium length strong legs and round paws, pure white gloves and socks are even with the gauntlets tapering three quarters up her hocks.

Messers R Mlynek & D Hayward, Milward Xerxes, (SBI n 13c1), Seal Pointed Birman Male Kitten with good Birman type, born A promising boy with a broad strong skull rounded skull, medium size ears well placed with a slight dip in the profile and slightly rounded at the tip of the nose, Almost round expressive good blue eyes, full wide cheeks tapering towards the muzzle level bite and a firm chin. He has long body with good substance, covered by a well prepared silken soft in texture beige medium length coat with slight golden hue, seal points colour developing well on mask with some brindled around the eyes and pleasing colour to the ears, paler points colour to legs and good seal bushy tail in proportion to his body, medium strong size legs with strong and short paws, pure white scalloped gloves, even pure white socks, with pure white gauntlets tapering three quarters up the hocks. 2ndMiss L Simpson Filensio Kismet Kat (RGM ns ( 60 27tswx) RagaMuffin Black Silver Tabby Dark Points, born Stunning kitten with a sweet expression, I would love to see her when she is mature. She has a broad head of moderate length with rounded contours along with a moderately rounded forehead, medium well furnished ears well placed and slightly tilted forward. Large expressive walnut shape eyes of green in colour, medium length nose with an obvious break at the nasal bridge and straight at the tip. Good width to rounded cheeks and puffy whisker pads, level bite, firm rounded chin and a small ruff to frame her face. She has a rectangular body with short neck and quite a muscular frame of good substance for her age, along with a fleshy pad to her underbelly, medium length strong legs and fairly large rounded paws. Covered by plush soft textured coat developing well and medium in length, down to her well furnished plumed tail with slight taper towards the tip. The silver coat has good tabby markings to her face, M to forehead, spectacles around her eyes, spotted whiskers pads, tram lines going over her head, thumb prints to her ears, bars to legs and some rings to her tail.

6 3rd Mr & Mrs R & D Dobson, Maysula Kaliber (SBI b(13c3) Chocolate Point Birman Male Kitten with good Birman type developing, born Strong broad skull with medium well placed ears, medium length nose with slight dip in profile, almost round good blue eyes developing from the iris and starting to spread out the outer rim. Good width to cheeks tapering to a strong muzzle, level bite and a firm chin. He has a long body with a good weight, covered by a well prepared soft texture medium length pale ivory coat with chocolate points to mask spreading across the cheeks and a wee bit above the eyes, just a little brindled to the cheeks and around the eyes, lighter colour to the legs, good chocolate coloured ears, and a bushy tail, strong medium length legs and thickset rounded paws, pure white even gloves sliding off to one side, the left sock higher then the right one and slightly scalloped, gauntlets wider at the base tapering to a point three quarters up the hock. AC BIRMAN NEUTER 703 1st Mrs C Kerr, IGR PR DoubleDelight Sahsa (SBI a (13c2) Blue Point Birman Female Neuter Adult, born Pretty female with good Birman type and pleasing expression. Broad round strong skull, medium size ears well spaced apart, medium length nose with slight dip in profile, almost round blue eyes would prefer them deeper in colour, round full cheeks tapering towards her strong well developed muzzle, level bite and a firm chin, with a small ruff framing her face, She has along body of good substance, covered by a well prepared bluish white soft in texture coat, complemented her blue points colour to a full mask, paler colour to her legs and full bushy tail in proportion to her body, medium length strong legs and thickset round short paws, The white short gloves are a little uneven and scalloped with equal socks and gauntlets tapering three quarters up the hocks,

7 2nd Mr a & Mrs D Brown Ch Delteema Fantasia (SBI j (13c10) Lilac Tortie Point Birman Female Adult Neuter with good Birman type, born, Strong broad skull, medium size well placed ears, medium length nose with slight dip in profile, good width to rounded cheeks tapering towards her strong muzzle, almost round medium blue eyes, would prefer them deeper in colour but quite good for her age, level bite and a firm chin.
