1 Many thanks to Pina for the invitation to judge at the Scotia Cat Fanciers show and to the club for their hospitality. An enjoyable day in the great company of Ian Thomson, great at handling the cats too, I look forward to the next time. AV FOREIGN GRAND CHAMPION ADULT MALE IMP McRAE S GR CH CAGARAN PLATHACH ASH ns M Lovely size and weight to solid medium length body with good muscle tone. Well rounded chest and straight back. Strongish rather than slender but proportionate legs and large oval paws. Good length to thickish, slightly tapering tail with a rounded tip. Coat is fairly short and fine, close lying and with a very good texture. Black Smoke Asian of excellent colour with the silver breaking through on movement. Fairly short wedge, wide at cheek bones and with a blunt muzzle. Good width to slightly rounded top of head between well set and shaped, medium to larger sized ears. In profile slightly rounded brow, good nose break and fairly short, straight nose. Slightly untidy bite and slightly shallow chin. Large and lustrous eyes set well apart. Lovely temperament. RES MORRISON S GR CH PHABBAY OZZEY OTTO TOS c 32 M Three years old boy with a nice head which has a gently rounded top of good width between ears, moderately proportioned wedge with a rounded muzzle and definite whisker pinch. Profile shows slightly flattened forehead, slight nose break then nose is straight to tip. Level bite and fair depth chin. Medium ears, slightly taller than wide, broad at base, oval tips and pricked forward and set well apart. Large full almond shaped eyes, set well apart, more pale blue in colour than with any green tones. Very good size and weight to long body of good muscle tone, well balanced with rounded chest, slender legs and neat oval paws. Medium length tapering tail. Short, close lying coat, fine, soft and silky with a good sheen to it. Lilac Tonkinese of creamy-lilac body colour which shows some tonal shading and nice tone of lilac colour to the points. Nice natured. AC BURMESE CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE GR DAVIDSON S CH KARAKORAM ISADORABLE BUR h F Two plus years old lady of good size and weight with a well filled tummy but firm feel, proportionate length, shapely legs and neat oval paws. Good tail for length and shape to balance body. Coat is fairly short and close lying and of excellent satin like texture. Chocolate Tortie Burmese of rather deepish chocolate particularly on her extremities, prettily mingled with shades of red. Very good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of slightly generous size. Profile shows gentle rounding to brow, good nose break and fairly short straight nose. Level bite and fair depth chin. Yellow eyes of good size and shape with a typical Burmese expression. RED SELF ADULT 1CC & BOB THOMSON S DA VINCI SZAFTR POINT (IMP) PER d M Well presented almost one year old boy. Large round head with good breadth to skull, full cheeks and broad nose with pink nose leather. Strong profile line with rounded forehead, definite stop and short nose. Full muzzle, deep chin and acceptable bite, long curled whiskers. Fairly neat ears are set low and wide apart on head following the outer contours of the face, fairly small and with rounded tips and full furnishings. Full round shape to orange coloured, large eyes set well apart. Good size and weight to well muscled, cobby
2 body, low on legs with a broad chest, massive shoulders and rump. Short, proportionate boned legs and large rounded paws. Short tail proportionate to body with bushy effect to fur. Good coat, long thick, fine and soft textured with full frill at the shoulders and good frill between the front legs. Red Persian of good of sound even rich red. Lovely temperament. BLACK SILVER SPOTTED ADULT MALE 1CC KEENAN S LIMATZ SUPER SONIC BSH ns 24 M Young male of nine months of age who is still filling out and developing. Nice head has full cheeks to a round face when viewed from the front with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of good width between medium sized ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and fair depth chin. Large and well open, pale green eyes set wide apart. Compact body with a level back, low on legs and with good breadth chest, proportionate, well boned legs and large, rounded paws. Good medium length tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat is fairly short with some density, soft side of crisp in texture. Black Silver Tabby British of lovely pale silvery-white ground colour with clear black markings and spots some of which show some downward linkage back from shoulders. Lovely facial markings Lovely temperament. BOB ADAIR S CH VINMAR SILVA-SPOTLIGHT BSH ns 24 M Very well grown eleven months old boy with good overall balance and good muscle tone. Head has full cheeks and jowls to a round face with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of good width between neat ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, small in size and rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break and fairly short, straight, broad nose. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Large and well open eyes set wide apart. Strong build to cobby body with a level back, low on legs and with a full, broad, deep chest. Proportionate length, strong legs and large, rounded paws. Medium length tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat is fairly short with nice density and fairly crisp texture. Black Silver Tabby British of silvery-white ground colour with black spotting clearly defined. Nice facial markings. Nice natured. BLACK SILVER SPOTTED ADULT FEMALE 1CC DARLING S TIGATAILS LA DOCE VITA BSH ns 24 F Well grown for eleven months of age. Head has full cheeks to a round face when viewed from the front with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of good width between slightly generous sized ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break, nose a bit long but straight. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Yellowy-green coloured eyes set wide apart but I would prefer a fuller shape. Compact body of good weight, straight back, nice breadth chest, proportionate length and boned legs and large, rounded paws. Medium length tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat is a trifle long with some density, softish texture. Black Silver Tabby British of clear silvery-white ground colour with well defined black markings and spots some showing downward linkage back from shoulders. Nice facial markings Lovely temperament.
3 BROWN SPOTTED KITTEN 1 & BOB COLLINS S SAORSA GALADREIL BSH n 24 F Quite a cutie this nearly five months old girl. Nice head has good cheeks to a round face with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of good width between medium sized ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and good depth, level chin. Large eyes set well apart, muddy tone to colour at present. Well grown, compact body with short, strong legs and large, rounded paws to grow into. Medium length tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Longish fluffy baby coat with long guard hairs at present. Brown Spotted British of golden brown ground colour with black spotting showing some downward linkage. Clear facial markings with pencil lines on cheeks. Lovely temperament. BLACK NEUTER BOB McCOLL S IMP GR CH & GR PR FERGAN BOOGIE WOOGIE BSH n M Big boy of four plus years of age. Nice head, broad and round with full cheeks to a round face and good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of good width between small to medium sized ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, medium in size and rounded at the tips. In profile rounding over brow, medium nose break, fairly short, straight nose. Level bite and fair depth chin. Large and well open yellow eyes set wide apart. Large, muscular body of very good weight with a level back and with a broad, deep chest. Long, well boned legs and large, rounded paws. Longish tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat is a trifle long with good density, soft side of crisp in texture. Black British with a slightly rusty tone to black colour and sporting some white hairs in the bikini line. Handled ok. BLUE NEUTER BOB LECKIE S CH & IMP GR PR KOLINGA DANTE GABRIEL BSH a M Large strong six years old boy with a lovely broad, rounded, muscular head with full cheeks and jowls. Very good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of very good width between neat ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break and short, straight, broad nose. Level bite and reasonable depth chin. Round eyes are set wide apart, orange in colour, for perfection I would prefer a trifle larger. Nicely balanced with cobby, very weighty body with equally broad rump and chest, level back, low on legs which are short, strong, well boned and large, rounded paws. Good length, thick tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat is fairly short with excellent density and fairly crisp texture and cracks open as he moves. British Blue of medium blue, even colour with a silvery sheen to rounded areas particularly the paws. Lovely temperament. DILUTE TORTIE NEUTER BOB McCOLL S GR CH & GR PR FERGAN CHACHACHA BSH g F Four plus years old lady with a pretty coloured coat. Head has full cheeks to a roundish face when viewed from the front with good breadth to skull and rounded top of head of good width between medium sized ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break, nose a trifle long but
4 straight. I would like more strength to muzzle and slightly broader nose. Level bite and fair depth chin. Large and well open eyes set wide apart, golden colour. Good size and weight to cobbyish body, short level back, low on legs and good breadth to chest. Short, proportionate legs and rounded paws. Medium length, thick tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Coat is a trifle long with fair density, soft side of crisp in texture. Blue-Cream British of medium blue mingled with slightly warm toned cream. Nice natured. SORREL ABYSSINIAN ADULT BOB MATHER S CH ABYDREAMES RAPTURE ABY o F Attractive sixteen months old girl. Head still developing strength with gently rounded contours which are gently rounded from top of head to brow. Good, gently rounded width between the ears forming a fairly moderate wedge which tapers to a nice muzzle formed by a strong indentation. In profile slight nose break then nose is straight to tip. Level bite and fair depth chin. Very large, well cupped ears set wide apart, pricked with furry inner edges and tufts at tips. Large, expressive, amber coloured eyes set well apart, full almond shape and oriental in set. Good size and weight to long, elegant body with a straight back and rounded rib cage. Slim, proportionate length legs and neat oval paws. Tail is thicker at base, tapering gently to tip and of good length to balance body. Coat is fairly short, fine, close lying and dense in texture, sparse patch on her left leg. Sorrel Abyssinian of good bright apricot base colour with chocolate ticking. Pale hair around eyes and dark edge to eyelids. More intense dark chocolate ticking colour extending down spine and tail to tip and up the hocks. Faint broken necklaces. Nice natured. ASIAN SMOKE, SHADED OR TIPPED BURMILLA ADULT BOB McRAE S GR CH CAGARAN PLATHACH ASH ns M TONKINESE ADULT BOB MORRISON S GR CH PHABBAY OZZEY OTTO TOS c 32 M USUAL ABYSSINIAN NEUTER 1PC & BOB JOHNSON S PONTABY FAVILLA ABY n FN Fourteen months old girl with gently rounded contours to head which is gently rounded from top of head to brow. Gently rounded width between the ears forming a moderate wedge which tapers to a slightly rounded muzzle formed by a slight indentation. In profile nose break needs a touch more definition then nose is straight to tip. Level bite but shallow chin. Large, well cupped ears set wide apart, tufts at tips. Large, expressive, hazel coloured eyes set well apart, full almond shape and oriental in set. Medium build and size to body with a straight back and rounded rib cage. Slender legs, proportionate length to body and small oval paws. Tail is thicker at base, tapering gently to tip and of good length to balance body. Coat is fairly short, fine, close lying and dense in texture. Usual Abyssinian of ruddy orange base colour with excellent black ticking showing distinct bands of colour. More intense black ticking colour extending down spine and tail to a black tip and slightly up the hocks. Faint broken necklace. Pale lips and chin. Nice natured.
5 TONKINESE NEUTER BOB KEARNAN & MARTIN S CH & OB IMP GR PR PHABBAY PURE CRYSTAL TOS b 32 FN Mature almost seven years old lady. Nicely rounded top of head of good width between ears, moderate wedge with a rounded muzzle and very definite whisker pinch. In profile rather slight rounding to brow, slight nose break then nose is straight to tip. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Large ears, slightly taller than wide, broad at base and oval at tips, set wide apart but held a trifle low. Large full almond shaped eyes, set well apart, pale green in colour. Long body of good weight, solid and with a firm feel, well balanced with rounded chest, proportionate boned, slender legs and oval paws. Good medium length tapering tail. Reasonably short and fine, close lying coat of good texture with a nice sheen to it. Chocolate Tonkinese with Burmese pattern of warm toned medium to darker chocolate body colour but with very dark chocolate points, marginally paler legs and feet. Nice natured. LILAC BURMESE ADULT 1CC & BOB COULTER S JACOU LOVELIEST LARISSA BUR c F Nine months old girl of good size and weight for age with a medium build body with a firm feel. Proportionate length, shapely legs and neat oval paws. Well shaped tail needs a fraction more length to balance body length. Coat is a trifle long but close lying and of good texture. Lilac Burmese of slightly creamy lilac with pale bluey contrast masking to face, ears and tail. Good width to gently rounded top of head between well set and shaped ears of good size. In profile gentle rounding to brow, fairly good nose break, nose a trifle long and has a slight bump in the line to tip. Level bite and fair depth chin. Chartreuse coloured eyes of good size and shape well set. Sweet natured. BROWN BURMESE NEUTER 1PC & BOB VERLANDER S HIGHLANDER DARKKNIGHT BUR n MN Very good size and weight to this eleven months old boy. Medium to longer length body with good muscle tone, proportionate length and boned legs and oval paws. Well shaped tapering tail of good length. Coat is fairly short and close lying and of very good texture. Brown Burmese of rich seal brown colour but unfortunately showing a sprinkling of white hairs across the chest. Fair width to top of head between generous sized ears set with a forward tilt. Profile shows slight rounding to brow, fairly good nose break, nose a bit long and rounds towards tip. Level bite but slightly shallow chin. Yellow colour to eyes changes to green at centre, good size and shape well set. Nice natured.
