PREAMBLE Gilbert Kirui graduated from faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nairobi in 2003 where he holds an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (2003). After a period in clinical practice, he received a project scholarship from ADB ALLPRO under which he completed a Master of Science degree in Clinical Studies investigating Factors influencing production of camel calves in Marsabit Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs). He has great experience in programme design organisational management and program evaluation especially in livestock dependent communities. He also has hands on experience in conducting field based baseline surveys, program evaluations including those in ASALs/Pastoral areas. He has vast experience in using participatory research tools relating to socio-demographic, economic and welfare assessments.
