Allen, DVM, JD associates in Veterinary law P.c., endwell, Ny Dr. Christopher Allen is the president of Associates in Veterinary Law, P.C., a veterinary-specific legal and consulting firm with offices in New York. Dr. Allen is a graduate of Columbia University and Albany Law School and formed his law practice in Dr. Allen graduated from veterinary school and purchased the first of five veterinary practices which he has owned or operated since. He is a frequent lecturer at veterinary conferences around the United States and has legal and consulting clients throughout thiscountry and abroad. Dr. Allen has served on the veterinary board of Trupanion Pet Insurance and is the monthly legal columnist fordvm360 magazine. Phillip Barnes, MBA Northstar Vets, robbinsville, NJ Mr. Barnes is responsible for all aspects of communicating with the public about NorthStar VETS from information on veterinary specialty medicine to keeping the hospital front-of-mind for pet parents in need of emergency care. With nearly two decades of professional experience in animal health marketing, Barnes has been a speaker, writer, and consultant on marketing best practices for this field. Clifford R. Berry, DVM, DACVR University of Florida, college of Veterinary Medicine, VsH, apex, Nc Dr. Berry is a courtesy professor at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and a Diagnostic Radiologist at VSH of the Carolinas in Cary, NC. He has authored and co-authored over 90 publications and provided multiple CE courses in small animal veterinary ultrasound and lectures in small animal abdomen, thorax and abdominal ultrasound. His passion is teaching and making sure that the practicing veterinarian understands the limitations of diagnostic ultrasound. He has received numerous teaching awards for his time in academia and has been at North Carolina State University and University of Florida for his academic tenure., BA, LVT, VTS (Behavior) Mercer island Veterinary clinic, Mercer island, wa (pronounced Fair-Child) is a veterinary technician practicing full-time in small animal medicine near Seattle. A veterinary technician specialist in Behavior, Monique has presented veterinary CE all over the United States. She was named Veterinary Technician of the Year by Petplan in Monique's first book came out in April 2018, entitled Cooperative Veterinary Care. Bringing humor, practical experience, and a deep knowledge of the science of behavior, Monique's goal is to provide unique and useful education you can put into practice immediately. Joyce Login, DVM Zoetis, Parsippany, NJ Dr. Login attended The Ohio State University where she was awarded her DVM degree in Upon graduation, she returned to her roots and practiced veterinary medicine at a small animal practice in New Jersey. In 1992 she left private practice to embark on what has become a 25-year career in the animal health corporate world. In 2010, she joined Pfizer Animal Health, now Zoetis, where she consulted with specialists and Colleges of Veterinary Medicine as a Regional Strategic Veterinarian. As of August 2013, she joined the veterinary team where she is currently a Senior Manager in Veterinary Specialty Operations, supporting the pain, oncology and specialty products. In addition, she has a passion for communication and leadership training. Joyce has been certified in the FRANK Communication program and DiSC, as well as the Bayer Communication Project, and has conducted many training workshops over years. In addition, she has obtained a Meyers Briggs certification., BS, CVT, CVPP, VTS (Anesthesia) cares, langhorne, Pa Tasha has been working in Veterinary medicine for 15 years. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and Manor College. She has is a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner and a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia. She is also the creator and administrator of Veterinary Anesthesia Nerds an online forum for veterinary anesthesia case management and continuing education. Brook A. Niemiec, DVM, DAVDC, DEVDC, FAVD Veterinary dental specialties and oral surgery, san diego, ca Dr. Niemiec is a 1994 graduate of the University of California, Davis. He is a Board Certified specialist in Veterinary Dentistry by the American Veterinary Dental College as well as the European Veterinary Dental College. He is also a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. He is Chief of Staff of Veterinary Dental Specialties & Oral Surgery with 14 offices throughout the United States. Dr. Niemiec is a regular speaker on the local, national, and international levels, and was elected as the Clinical Instructor of the Year for the 2016 Western Veterinary Conference. He has authored many articles, chapters, and books and founded the premier veterinary dental telemedicine website vetdentalrad.com. Finally, he coordinates the San Diego Vet Dental Training Center with 3-4 meetings a year covering basic and intermediate veterinary dentistry. 4

Norsworthy, DVM, DABVP (Feline) alamo Feline Health center, san antonio, tx Dr. Norsworthy has been in private practice for 46 years, 25 in small animal practice and 21 in feline practice. He is the owner of Alamo Feline Health Center in San Antonio. In addition to practice, he lectures frequently and is the editor of seven feline textbooks, the most recent being The Feline Patient, 5th Edition, that published in He is a charter Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in the Feline Practice Category and an Adjunct Professor at the CVM, Mississippi State University and the Western University of Health Sciences. He was chosen as 2009 Practitioner of the Year in the Medical Specialist category by the Texas VMA and has received Speaker of the Year at several conferences. He is the only person to be Speaker of the Year two times each at the North American Veterinary Conference and the Western Veterinary Conference. Edmund J. Rosser Jr., DVM, DACVD Michigan state University, college of Veterinary Medicine, east lansing, Mi Dr. Rosser received his DVM degree from Cornell University in 1976 and then spent 4 years in general practice before completing a Residency in Dermatology at the University of California-Davis in He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and a member of the faculty at Michigan State University since 1983 where he is a Full Professor and Head of Dermatology. He has been awarded the Norden Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award and the recipient of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA) Excellence in Teaching Award on three occasions. Dr. Rosser was the recipient of the 2009 American College of Veterinary Dermatology Award of Excellence for Outstanding Contributions to Science and Education. He is the author of over 70 book chapters and journal articles in Veterinary Dermatology and has presented over 200 seminars at the local, regional, national, and international level. Howard B. Seim III, DVM, DACVS colorado state University, Fort collins, co Dr. Seim graduated from Washington State University, completed an internship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, and a surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. He obtained Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in He is currently on the surgical staff at Colorado State University. He was recipient of the Merck AGVET Award for Creative Teaching, the CSU Award for Instructional Innovation and selected as the North American Veterinary Conference s Small Animal Speaker of the Year in Dr. Seim is founder of VideoVet a Veterinary Surgery Continuing Education video series Deborah A. Stone, MBA, PhD, CVPM stone Veterinary Practice Management (stonevpm) and VetworldMedia, austin, tx Deborah Stone owns and operates Stone Veterinary Practice Management (StoneVPM) and VetWorldMedia based in Austin, Texas. She has been involved with the veterinary profession for nearly thirty years and has experience in specialty, emergency and general practice management. She earned an MBA with a concentration in business management and completed her PhD in Organizational Leadership. Deborah is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, accredited from the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. Deborah devotes much of her time toward community service activities and holds memberships with many associations. She is the American Veterinary Medical Association s Digital Education Lead, served as Editor- In-Chief for NAVC s Today s Veterinary Business journal, is a national speaker, founder of Austin City Unlimited Veterinary and published author., MS, RVT, VTS (ECC), VTS (SAIM) cornell University college of Veterinary Medicine, ithaca, Ny Over the 18 years in practice, Ken has discovered and refined his role as a veterinary technician by promoting compassionate and progressive care for the patients and their family. He obtained his VTS certification in emergency and critical care as well as small animal internal medicine and obtained his master's degree in Veterinary Science. He is currently the Veterinary Education Simulation Laboratory Manager at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, and is the Program Director for RECOVER CPR Initiative. Ken has co-edited the Manual of Veterinary Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking and has published over 25 text chapters and articles in publications such as the Veterinary Team Brief and Today s Veterinary Nurse. He speaks internationally and has given over 800 presentations. Ken works to encourage further recognition of the vital role of the veterinary nurses and technicians through work with organizations such as the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America co-chairing the Veterinary Nurse Initiative, and serving as a board member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the Academy of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Technicians, and the Veterinary Innovation Council. 5
