1 This Fee Schedule is based upon our survey of fees charged by veterinary clinics in the NYC Metro area. Veterinary fees vary, depending upon many factors including, location, staff, equipment, and operating overhead. Feel free to ask the vet clinic about their (UCR) regular fees in order to determine network savings. The schedule shows Member Savings by dollar amount and savings percentage. NVN Plan members pay fee shown in NETWORK FEE column. For services not shown, including more complicated procedures, participating veterinarians will offer savings in the range of 10 to. Please check with the vet about special services or vet care for species other than canine and feline. NVN may edit posted fees, without prior notice, to reflect veterinary fee trends in the NYC Metro area. It is important for NVN members and vets to consult this fee schedule before services are rendered. NVN remains available to communicate with members and vets about plan fees and services at all times. Some veterinary clinics note increased demand for Dental services if reduced fees are offered during special Dental Months. NVN vets offer reduced dental fees 12 months of the year. Pet dental care, done properly, includes three steps: Blood screening, Choice of anesthesia, and the actual gum and tooth care procedures. We have included several useful links below. Depending upon services to be provided, pet dental care may require preanestheic blood-testing to screen for underlying conditions, genetic issues, or other health factors that may bear upon administration of anesthesia or the type of anesthesia used. Preanesthetic blood work may include a 6 panel chemistry + CBC or a more detailed 12 panel chemistry that is recommended for older pets and more complicated procedures. There are two basic types of anesthesia used for Pet Dental Care, IV anesthesia, and the more complex and expensive Inhalation anesthesia. Your vet will discuss the variables Veterinary Dental fees posted below reflect weight differences in canines, and choice of blood screening and anesthesia in all animals. Please consult with your veterinarian about details. Canine Dental Care $390 - $330 $155 32%
