3 Shiela Brown, founder of the Rauenfels Boxer Kennels, passed away on 5 August aged 92 years. Shiela Brown was born in England in 1920 and met her Australian husband Joe during the Second World War while they were both serving in Africa. They settled in Sydney and Shiela acquired her first Boxer in After a three year posting in the UK, the family returned to Sydney in 1961 bringing with them Astranells Leta (Imp UK) sired by Eng. Ch. Wardrobes Wild Mink. Mated to Eng. Ch. Wardrobes Joriemour Witch Doctor, Leta produced most notably Ch. Rauenfels Jungle Doctor owned by Tony Dobson. Shiela was one of the founding members of the Western Districts Boxer Club when it was affiliated at Orange in the Central West of NSW. The family, with a daughter and three sons moved to Bathurst and established boarding kennels which Shiela managed for 37 years until she retired aged 87. A past President of Bathurst Kennel Club, Shiela ran the Dog Section of the Bathurst Royal for many years She maintained her love for the breed and her last litter in 1999 to Ch. Skelder Ebb and Flow (Imp UK) produced her last champion, Ch. Rauenfels Helter Skelter. Welcome

Western Districts Boxer Club of NSW Inc. Boxer Club of NSW (Major Only) This show is conducted under the rules and regulations of the RNSWCC, a copy of which may be perused at the Secretary's Office. No puppy under the age of six (6) months may compete against any dog six (6) months of age or over in any class or for any special prize. All dogs must be registered with the RNSWCC or affiliated Interstate Canine Council. No dogs, other than those exhibited, are allowed on or within the precincts of the grounds during the conduct of the show. All ribbons and trophies must be collected on the day of the show. In accordance with Regulations Part II - Show Section 14.10, it is the obligation of any person at a show who observes a dog behaving in an aggressive manner to report the incident either orally or in writing to a member of the Show Committee as soon as possible on the day of the show.

5 Introducing Our Judge: Lynn Mair Glenauld Boxers (Scotland) I was born into Boxers as my mother & father registered the Glenauld affix in the 1960's. Under the Glenauld affix, Janice and David Mair bred and made up several UK Champions. After starting in Junior Handling at an early age my interest moved to show jumping which incorporated breeding Dutch Warmblood Sport Horses. My fifteen year association with show jumping also involved competing in Scottish Teams. I returned to dog showing 15 years ago and since 2000 we have made up 11 UK Champions. Glenauld were Top UK Boxer Kennel in 2005, again in 2007 and runner up in During this period we have titled a UK Champion Pembroke Welsh Corgi and at present have now titled a home bred Boston Terrier to UK Champion, who at 16 months has 3CC's & 5 Res CC's. I have awarded CC's in Boxers at the Three Counties and Manchester s. I have a Breed Club appointment in 2014 and judge Working & Pastoral Groups at Open Shows. I have attended all Breed Seminars required by the Kennel Club. For the past four years I have held the position President of The Scottish Boxer Club. The Committee and Members of the Western Districts Boxer Club of NSW Inc., sincerely thank Lynn Mair for accepting the invitation to officiate at the Club s 2013 Championship Spring Carnival weekend
