RALLY: EVENTS OFFERED & TENTATIVE RUNNING ORDER All Regular Rally Classes Offered starting with Masters, then Excellent, then Advanced, then Novice AWARDS Qualifying scores will receive a green ribbon; strip ribbons will be awarded for placements in each class. Rosettes will be awarded for High Scoring Australian Shepherd, High Scoring Other Breed, High in Trial Overall, High Combined, High in Trial Junior Handler. Qualifying scores of 195 and higher will receive small rosette ribbons indicating an X qualifying score. New Title ribbons will be available for those finishing a Rally title. 3 DIRECTIONS TO THE TRIAL SITE From the south: Take I-15 North to Exit 289: Bangerter. Turn left on Bangerter and go approximately 3.8 miles. Turn left on 2700 West. At 4 way stop (0.7 mi.) turn right onto S, 2834 W is the second house (gray house) on the right. Turn in at 2nd driveway and drive back past the barn to park. From the north: Take I-15 South to Exit 289: Bangerter. Turn right on Bangerter and go approximately 3.5 miles. Turn left on 2700 West. At 4 way stop (0.7 mi.) turn right onto S, 2834 W is the second house (gray house) on the right. Turn in at 2nd driveway and drive back past the barn to park. SITE INFORMATION This event will be held indoors on artificial turf. Ample shade, parking and crating areas are available. There will be NO food concession on site. Several fast food restaurants are within 10 minutes of the trial site. Snacks and drinks will be provided for workers. Please clean up after your dog and yourself at the event site. Those not cleaning up will be dismissed from the trial at the discretion of the trial committee. ACCOMMODATIONS According to Dog Friendly and Pet Friendly websites, these hotels may be available. When making hotel or motel reservations, inquire about the hotel and motel s CURRENT dog policy and possible pet fees, pet deposits, smoking room only use, weight / size / number limitations, etc. Hotel management changes frequently as does the hotel and motel s policies regarding pets. 4 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ASCA Obedience and Rally trials are open to purebred and mixed breed dogs. You will need a QT number to enter an Obedience or Rally trial. The form is available at If your dog is an ASCA registered Australian Shepherd include your dog s ASCA registration number on the entry form. If your dog is not ASCA registered and you would like to earn ASCA titles, you will need to obtain an ASCA tracking number and include it on the entry form. An ASCA Service Membership and Tracking Number Form is included with this premium and is also available at The postmark (not the delivery date) will determine the entry order. Any Express mail entries must include signature permitting them to be left at the Secretary s address without recipient signature. There will be a $25.00 service charge for any returned check. Checks not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry fee. Confirmations and other communications are sent primarily via . It is your responsibility to make sure that the secretary s address of or is allowed by your spam blocker, and to change options that strip attachments from s. Final confirmations will be sent to the address provided on the entry form after closing date. Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial including the following: All healthy, trained dogs are eligible to compete in ASCA Obedience and Rally trials. Exhibitors should always conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike fashion. Bitches in heat, lame or blind dogs are ineligible for entry. Any dog which demonstrates aggression towards any person or any dog, whether inside or outside the ring, must be excused from the Obedience and Rally trial. Any dog which the judge feels is not in sufficient control to perform all the obstacles in a safe manner will be excused from the Obedience and Rally trial. Exhibitors agree that if their dog(s) is (are) left unattended, they will be secured in a crate or x-pen. Owner/handlers whose dogs are tethered or improperly secured will not be allowed on the show grounds. No food, toys, tents, crates or other aids or devices shall be permitted within 10 of the ring. All dogs shall be on leash when not competing. Safety shall always be the foremost consideration in actions and conduct by handlers at all times. The sponsoring club will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result is accident or other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made. The organizing committee may not refuse any entry other than on the basis expressly provided through rules and regulations of the sanctioning organization. Anyone not currently in good standing with ASCA will not be allowed to enter the trial.
