Substitutions will be allowed only with a dog owned by the same person making the original entry. Entry fee to be made by US Check/Cashiers Check/Money Order in Registered Owners name ONLY! Entries received without proper signatures, fees, information, etc. will be deemed incomplete and will not be accepted. Registered Owner of dog shall be responsible for replacement cost of livestock at the following prices: GEESE - $50.00 per head, SHEEP - $ per head, CATTLE current MARKET Value. Confirmation of entries shall be made via or self-addressed stamped envelope (if supplied). The Committee will draw run order prior to the trial. Bitches in season will run in order. This trial shall be run under all ASCA Rules and Regulations. A $50 service fee will apply to all returned checks. Returned checks will not constitute an accepted entry. In consideration of acceptance of this entry: 1.1 As used here, ASCA means the Australian Shepherd Club of America, its affiliate clubs and each of their members, officers, directors, employees, show chairs, show committees, and agents. 1.2 Exhibitor/owner agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of ASCA and any other rules and regulations appearing in the premium for this event. 1.3 Exhibitor/owner certifies that the entered dog is not a hazard to persons, dogs, or property and that the entered dog s rabies vaccination is current in accordance with the requirement of the state in which the dog resides. 1.4 Exhibitor/owner acknowledges all hazards presented by the event and the event premises, including, but not limited to: the condition of the floors, stairways, halls, lighting, security measures (or lack thereof), electrical appliances, fittings, show rings, parking areas, and the presence of unfamiliar animals and people. Exhibitor and owner assume the risk of any harm arising from these. 1.5 Exhibitor/owner releases ASCA, the ASCA affiliate/licensee club hosting the event (including its officers, directors, members, and event organizing committee), and all site owner(s) harmless from all present and future loss, injury, damage, claims, demands and liabilities involving the entered dog, the event, or event premises. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing hold harmless provisions, exhibitor/ owner hereby specifically assume sole responsibility for, and agree to indemnify and save aforementioned parties harmless from, any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damages because of bodily injuries, including death, at any time in consequence of my (our) participation in this event; howsoever such injury, or death, may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused, or may have been alleged to have been caused, by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons. 6 ASCA Service Membership and Tracking Number Application In order to have ASCA trial points tracked and to receive titling certificates, each non ASCA registered dog will be required to have an ASCA Tracking Number. This is a one time fee of $10/dog. At the time of applying for the tracking number, the individual owner must also be an ASCA member (minimum membership type, Service, is required). ASCA membership does not have to be maintained in subsequent years. It will be the responsibility of the owner to identify previous ASCA points earned when applying for a Tracking Number. You do not need a tracking number in order to compete in Agility or Stock. You will need a tracking number to enter an Obedience trial, Rally trial, or Tracking Test. Your dog does not have to be a purebred to receive a tracking number from ASCA. Why would I need or want a tracking number for my dog? If you would like to have your dog s points recorded by ASCA, and to receive title certificates in the mail for your accomplishments, you will need to obtain a tracking number. What is the total cost for a tracking number? In order to obtain a tracking number for your dog, you must be at least a Service member. The cost for Service Membership is $10. Your membership is good for one year; however, it does not need to be maintained in subsequent years, unless you want to obtain another tracking number for another dog after your membership has expired. This membership fee is in addition to the tracking fee of $10 per dog. A tracking number is good for the lifetime of the dog. If you only have one dog, the total cost would be $20.
