CASA reserves the right to amend, correct, change, any information herein due to errors, omissions, or unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, judges and/or schedule changes. ASCA s ACE program (Agility Competition Enthusiast), Senior Dog and Standard Division, will be offered at this trial. The ACE program allows dogs 18 months or older to jump one height lower than their standard height. The Senior Dog classes are for dogs 10 years and older and they will be given two reductions in jump height from their standard division jump height. For example, a 10 year old dog measuring 19 at the withers will be able to enter the ACE Sr. Dog Division and jump 12. Course times for dogs in the ACE program will be 10% greater than the Standard Division dogs in the Championship program in Regular & Jumpers. Gamblers time will be the same in both programs. The current program will be called the Championship program. Each dog and handler team can only enter either the Championship program or ACE program on any one day of a trial. Dogs moving from the Championship program to the ACE program will be allowed to compete at a lower level if a qualifying score at a higher level has been obtained in the Championship program. For example, if a dog has earned its Open titles in the Championship program, it can enter the ACE program at the Novice, Open, or Elite level. If this dog enters the ACE program in the Open or Elite classes, the Q s will be applied to the Novice ACE titles and since the dog has Q d at the higher level in the ACE program, it cannot return to compete at the lower level. Points from the two programs will be separate and will not be combined except for certain Elite titles from the Championship program that may be moved to the ACE program. The transferring of points will only be made once and must be requested in writing and sent to the Business Office. The points needed for each title are the same in both programs. The ACE Program is NOT eligible for Finals, Merit List or HOF. For more information, please review the Agility Rule book available on the ASCA website Awards: Flat Ribbons will be given for 1st 4th place in each class. Qualifying ribbons will be given for all qualifying scores in titling classes. 25 In order to have ASCA trial points tracked and to receive titling certificates, each non-asca registered dog will be required to have an ASCA QT Number. This is a one-time fee of $10/dog. At the time of applying for the QT number, the individual owner must also be an ASCA member (minimum membership type, Service, is required). ASCA membership does not have to be maintained in subsequent years. It will be the responsibility of the owner to identify previous ASCA points earned when applying for a QT Number. Please type or print clearly. Incomplete or illegible forms will be returned. Membership Application Service Membership Fee: $10.00 per person if not a current member Owner s Name (1): Owner s Name (2): Owner s Address: City: State: Zip: Phone: I (We) agree to abide by the ASCA Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and all ASCA Rules and Regulations governing the ASCA Registry and all other ASCA programs. Owner s Signature (1): Owner s Signature (2): If Owner/Co-Owner is under 18, please provide date of birth: Dog Information Fee for QT number is $10.00 per dog for ASCA Members Dog s Full Name: Dog s Call Name: Sex: M F Birth date: ASCA Service Membership and QT Number Application Breed: Previous ASCA points earned (If more space is needed, please attach another sheet): FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I have to have a QTnumber to compete? You do not need a QT number in order to compete in Agility, Stock or UAD events, unless you want to earn ASCA titles. You will need a QT number to enter an Obedience, Rally, Tracking Test or ASCA Sanctioned Dock Jumping. Your dog does not have to be a purebred to receive a QT number from ASCA. Why would I need or want a QT number for my dog? If you would like your dog s points recorded by ASCA, and receive title certificates in the mail for your accomplishments, you will need to obtain a QT number. What is the total cost for a QT number? In order to obtain a QT number for your dog, you must be a member. The cost for a basic Service Membership is $10 per owner if not already a current member. Your membership is good for one year and does not need to be renewed unless you want to obtain another QT number for another dog after your membership has expired. This membership fee is in addition to the QT number fee of $10 per dog. A QT number is good for the lifetime of the dog. If you only have one dog, the total cost would be $20. For two dogs, the cost would be $30, etc. Mail completed form with check, money order, or credit card information to: ASCA Business Office 6091 E State Hwy 21, Bryan, TX You may scan/ the form to agility@asca.org or fax to: (979) SEC CODE: PLEASE USE THIS SPACE TO PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD Cardholder s Signature EXP: Revised 11/1/16
