7 General Information and Trial Rules Changes, Additions or Corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by prior to the close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. Make all Checks or Money Orders payable in US Funds and mail to: My Dogs Gym, 1337 Madison St NE, #165, Salem, OR The Event Secretary assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Photocopied entries without the AKC agreement on the back or attached are NOT acceptable. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete or illegible entries are NOT acceptable. Returned checks or declined PayPal transactions do not constitute a valid entry fee. Foreign Checks drawn on a foreign bank that uses a 9 digit routing number, even if in US Funds, must be accompanied by a $10 processing fee in US Funds. If in doubt, please call Event Secretary before sending. Electronic entries will be accepted prior to the closing date. The following instructions MUST be followed: 1. Complete the entry form and tally the fee for each form. Go to paypal.com and follow the instructions to Send Money to <rainspring.mdg@gmail.com> Make the payment for required entry fee plus a $4 handling fee per entry form. Write the transaction ID number on the entry. 2. Foreign transactions in US Currency, add an $8 handling fee per entry form. Write the transaction ID number on the entry. 3. Sign the completed entry form, then to <rainspring.mdg@gmail.com>. Separate fees for Each Dog, Each Event (If it has a different event number, it s a separate event) Note: Entry fees include an AKC Recording Fee of $.50 and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3 for each class in which a dog is entered except brace. These fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. See AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 2; AKC Rally Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 3. Rally entries include AKC Event Service fee of $3.50 for first class and $3 each additional class per Rally Regulations Chapter 1, Section 4. Returned Checks/Declined Transactions The Event Secretary will add a $25 service charge for each returned check or declined PayPal transaction. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in being placed on a CASH ONLY basis. Refunds Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot be opened or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, fire, an act of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Bitches in season are not permitted to compete in Obedience, Rally or Junior Showmanship. If a bitch is withdrawn from such competition because she came into season and trial secretary is notified in writing at least one-half hour prior to the start of the event, the club will refund entries withdrawn under this section, but may retain $5 per class fee. See AKC Obedience Regulations Chapter 1, Section 14 and Rally Regulations Chapter 1, Section 13. Move-ups and Transfers will be accepted for these events but must be received by the event secretary no later than Wednesday, June 27, 2018 if mailed. After that time, please move-up information to the Secretary by Thursday July 5, Hand delivered move-ups will be accepted until 30 minutes prior to the start of the judging each day.

INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
