Added fees are applied to fax entries paid by credit card or online entries that are paid by credit card through PayPal at picalo.com. PayPal payments do not require a PayPal account. Entries close 6:00 PM PDT WEDNESDAY, September 24, 2014, at the address designated for event processing, after which time no entries may be accepted, canceled, changed, substituted, corrected, completed or signed and no entry fees refunded. Any changes and cancellations must be received in writing prior to closing date, except as provided for in Chapter 11 Section 6 of the AKC Dog Show Rules. Fax entries that are received incomplete or unable to be read will not be accepted. The proof of transmission is not proof for verifying faxed entries. Telephone and ed entries are not accepted. Canadian exhibitors must submit entries with checks drawn on U.S. accounts or with international money orders in U.S. funds. Returned checks and invalid or declined credit cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. Returned checks and invalid or declined credit cards must be made good before the dog (s) will be allowed in the ring. Any person that issues a check that is returned for non-payment, or submits payment by credit card that is declined, will be required to pay a fee of $25 in addition to the entry fees for which check or checks were issued or for charges to the declined credit card. The entry fee plus the $25 shall then be paid by cash, money order, or cashier's check. Subsequent returned checks or declined credit cards from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a cash only basis. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete or entries received without correct fee amounts will not be accepted. Owners are responsible for errors on entry blanks including wrong information, entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete or for entering the same dog twice. Entries not on official AKC forms or downloaded or photocopies of entry forms without rules and agreement on reverse side of Official AKC entry form and/or not within the official AKC entry size are NOT acceptable. 6 PUPPY SWEEPSTAKES BULLDOG CLUB OF AMERICA, DIVISION III THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, AKC Event # Sweepstakes will be judged prior to the Regular Classes and is open to all Breeders and Owners of Bulldogs that on the day of the show are at least 6 months of age and under 18 months of age. Classes will be divided by age and sex. Dog may be shown by owner, breeder or handler. Professional Handlers may show their OWN DOGS ONLY. A Champion of Record may not be entered or shown. Each dog or bitch MUST be entered in a Regular Class at the same show. Entry fee is $22.00 for each dog and entries shall be made at the same time and on the same entry forms as for the Regular Classes. Indicate Sweepstakes and the age division in the space provided for Additional Classes. SWEEPSTAKES CLASSES Classes in the Sweepstakes will be divided by sex into the following age categories: Puppy Dogs (6 mos & under 9 mos) Puppy Bitches (6 mos & under 9 mos) Puppy Dogs (9 mos & under 12 mos) Puppy Bitches (9 mos & under 12 mos) Dogs (12 months & under 18 months) Bitches (12 months & under 18 months) The winner of each age group class will compete for BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES. BMKC does agree that any guestroom repair fees left uncollected for any reason will be the responsibility of BMKC, with assessed repair fee payments to be charged to BMKC s Master Account. BMKC will then have the sole responsibility of collecting repair fees charged to their group master account directly from the occupants of the violated guestrooms. Should this occur, the exhibitor(s) will then reimburse BMKC. Should exhibitor(s) fail to reimburse BMKC, the exhibitor(s) will then be refused entry to any future BMKC shows until BMKC is fully reimbursed. 9 Parking/Loading & Unloading for this event is in designated areas only. DAY OF SHOW PARKING: There are two parking garages, an underground parking garage, and a fenced parking lot available for day of show parking. There is no fee for parking. Valet parking is available. RESERVED OVERNIGHT RV PARKING Hours for parking will be: Thursday, October 9, 2014: 2:00 PM - 10 PM Friday, October 10, 2014: 6 AM - 8 AM and 2 PM - 10 PM Saturday, October 11, 2014: 6 AM - 7 AM, After Best in Show until 10 PM Sunday, October 12, 2014: 6 AM - 7 AM RV parking for the BMKC Event is located in the parking lot off Riviera Blvd. See directions. Parking permits will be issued and MUST be displayed in window of RV at all times. Parking will be on a first-come basis. Those wishing to park together must arrive together. There will be no saving of spaces. All Parking is on pavement. Overnight parking will be limited. Parking fee is $40.00 per night with a minimum of two (2) days. Fees cover entire weekend. No reduction for single night parking. All spaces are 23 feet wide x 40 feet long. No overnight parking except in overnight parking area. Units must be self-contained. No electricity or water is available. No discharging of gray water on the premises. Box vans will be parked in a nearby designated area. Dogs are not allowed outside overnight. No outdoor cooking or tailgate parties permitted in the overnight RV area QUIET TIME! Generators must be off between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. If it is required for 24 hour generator use, please advise the show chairman. No overnight handicap parking is offered. All efforts will be made to park handicap requests closest to the Conference Center as possible. Handicap proof required. No set ups allowed in Day of Show parking. Exhibitors are responsible for THEIR garbage removal. DO NOT LEAVE TRASH. MUST BE CLASS A OR CLASS C VEHICLE TO PARK IN OVERNIGHT RV AREA. Arrangements have been made for RV sewage disposal with the RV Park adjacent to the Circus Circus Hotel. Sewage disposal fee is the sole responsibility of the RV owner. All Riviera Hotel parking regulations must be adhered to at all times. BOX-VANS: Box-Van Parking is limited. No Electricity. Generators permitted. Box Vans will be parked in a nearby designated area below the loading ramp. Check-in Hours are 6:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M. daily Rules for overnight parking apply to box van parking also. All Riviera Parking regulations must be adhered to at all times. NOTE: REGULAR SIZE VANS AND/OR MINI-VANS ARE NOT CONSIDERED BOX-VANS AND WILL NEED TO PARK IN DAY OF SHOW PARKING. All parking is at your own risk. Black Mountain Kennel Club and its management assume no responsibility for fires, theft and loss or damage to any vehicle or its cargo. LOADING/UNLOADING AREA Time limit of 15 minutes. Self-monitoring. Leaving vehicle unattended over 15 minutes may result in towing. Exhibitor will be responsible for all towing fees. Loading/unloading is located near the large ramp off the Riviera Blvd. entrance. Overnight RV parking, Box-Van Parking, Loading/Unloading, are Open Areas. There are no restrictions on leaving and returning each day. If you plan to leave, please secure your personal property as the Club and its management will not be responsible for damaged, missing, and/or stolen items. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. 19 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. A recording fee of.50 cents and a Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show, obedience trial or tracking test. This recording fee is to be collected by the showgiving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule, Chapter 14, Sec. 2). Trophies must be claimed the day of the show or be forfeited. No entry shall be made and no entry accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telephone and Telegraph entries cannot be accepted. Entries must be submitted on an American Kennel Club Official Entry Form or exact copy (both front & back) and must be signed. Owners are responsible for errors on entry blanks. The Club and/or its Show Secretary assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or owner's Agent entering a dog or a class for which the dog is not eligible to compete. Entry fee shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of Show Committee or because it has been entered incorrectly. No dogs will be allowed in the show area except those regularly entered in the show. Dogs must be ready for Judging: The club and its show secretary will not be responsible and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging. The Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. This club will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. The club will not be responsible for injury to any person attending this show. A dog which, according to its owners' records, has completed the requirements for a Championship after the closing of entries for the show, but whose Championship is unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed, provided this transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of any regular conformation Judging at the show. ADDITIONAL RULES Exhibitors must not wear pins or badges identifying them with any club or organization. Crates and grooming tables will not be allowed within 10 feet of the rings. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All dogs present must be held on a leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercise ring. Class cash prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of the breed is over and the Show Secretary advised at once.
