Spaces are 22' x 40'. Vehicles over 40' total length or vehicles with a slide out that will not fit in a 22' x 40' space will need to buy 2 spaces. If your entire package will not fit in a 22' x 40' space, you will need to buy additional space. Trailers and tow units may be required to be unhitched. Vehicles over 40' in length will be accommodated only where possible. Tagalong vehicles is $5.00 per night, and must fit into assigned space, if not they will be accommodated where possible. LIMITED HANDICAPPED PARKING will be available; IT MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE CLOSE TO THE RINGS. A suitable access will be provided. Please provide proof of your valid handicapped license with your RV Overnight reservation form. NO NON-RESERVED RV HANDICAPPED WILL BE AVAILABLE. Please remember electricity is very limited, everyone WILL NOT have, fet, find or be guaranteed or should expect electricity, even if you are the first in line to park. Again, there is no guarantee that your parking space will have access to electricity. Payment of RV overnight parking fees does not guarantee electricity. 4 Notice To Exhibitors 1. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, or telephoned entries cannot be accepted. Entries without fees are not acceptable. 2. PLEASE TYPEWRITE or NEATLY PRINT all entries. Use black or blue ink as entries will be photocopied. DO NOT use pencil or colored ink to write entries. 3. ENTRIES NOT ON OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORMS or photocopies of entry forms without the agreement and rules on the reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. 4. CHANGES, additions, or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Telephone changes are unacceptable. 5. OWNERS OR THEIR AGENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS on entry forms, for entering the same dog twice, or for entering a dog in a class in which it is ineligible to compete. FEES MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES. 6. ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date and time, nor in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, in season, excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the Show Committee. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, Act of God, strikes, extreme weather conditions (including but not limited to extreme heat, floods, hurricanes, lightning, or earthquakes), or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. 7. RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY. The Treasurer will add a collection fee of $25.00 plus bank fees to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors or agent may result in their being put on a cash-only basis. 8. CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY & SCHEDULE OF JUDGING TIME will be sent to the address on the Official AKC Entry Form after the closing date. If an exhibitor has not received a copy of the Schedule within seven days of the show, the Show Secretary should be contacted. 9. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs which according to their owners' records have completed the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary one half hour prior to the start of any regular conformation judging at the show. (Dog Show Rules, Chapter 11, Section 6) 10. DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave immediately after unless required for further judging. 11. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. Owners or their agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. 12. THE SHOW COMMITTEE WILL USE CARE and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors but will not be responsible for, nor assume the responsibility in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. The welfare of the exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. Please secure proper crates or means to confine dogs for the welfare of all concerned. 13. PUPPIES AND DOGS NOT ENTERED in the show will not be permitted on the show premises. 14. An AGENT is a person 18 years or older, other than an owner or co-owner, designated by the owner or co-owner to be handler or, and responsible for, the dog at the show. Agents' names may be followed by the initials which represent their AKC-recognized professional group affiliation or certification. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. (2) The person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog. (3) To exhibit in this class, family members must be a breeder and owner of record. NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING SINGLE DOG ENTRIES Veteran Dogs (7 years of age or older) Veteran Bitches (7 years of age or older) Note: Neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed in Veterans classes at independent specialty shows. BEST OF BREED COMPETITION The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed or Variety competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record, or Dogs which according to their owners' records have completed the requirements for a championship but whose championships are unconfirmed. The entry and showing of dogs whose championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the day of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a championship according to the owners' records. Winners of the Veteran Dog and Veteran Bitch Classes may also compete in the Best of Breed Competition, provided that they are undefeated in any Regular Class at this show. AWARDS OF MERIT Up to two (2) Awards of Merit will be offered each show to deserving specimens for recognition of their quality. It is entirely the judge s decision whether to give all or none of the available awards. Awards of Merit are selected from the entries in the Best of Breed Competition, other than the Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and Winners Dog/Bitch. GRAND CHAMPION SELECT Dogs eligible for Grand Champion competition are Champions competing in BOB, move-ups to BOB, and Champions that win Non-Regular classes and become eligible for BOB. Altered or spayed CH veterans are eligible at independent specialties. Winners Dog and Winners Bitch are NOT eligible. At the judge s discretion, Grand Championship points may be awarded to: Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, Select Dog, and Select Bitch. 6 Puppy Sweepstakes With Morning Show Only. Sweepstakes is open to Shiba Inu 6 months and under 18 months of age. Classes be divided by sex and age, but not by color. Champions of Record are eligible. Professional Handlers may only show dogs which are owned by them. All entries in the Sweepstakes MUST be entered in a Regular class at the same show, and entries must be made at the same time regular entries are made and on the same form. Entry fee for each Sweepstakes class is $15.00, IN ADDITION to the regular class entry fee. Sweepstakes class winners will compete for Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes.
