The number is: Tracking Workshop with Deborah Davis October 4 & 5, 2008 Sponsored by: Indian Nations Tracking Club For: Beginning tracking dogs and handlers Location: Dixie s Animal Training, Owasso, OK When: 8:30 AM until Done Although TD will be the main theme, there will be some TDX work as needed. Limit of 15 dogs with handlers; unlimited number of handlers can audit. Sunday will be catered for a fee of $7. Air conditioned building. October General Meeting Monday October 13th 7:30 PM Cost (includes drinks): $65 for 2 days w/1 dog, $30 audit both days, $40 1 day w/1dog, $20 audit 1 day. LOW-COST MICROCHIP CLINIC Due to popular demand, WKC is scheduling another Microchip Clinic for Saturday, September 27. We need approximately 12 volunteers and 2 vets, but the more folks we have helping, the merrier. Last year we had two clinics. 3 Page 3 of 6 BRAGS! OKC Junior Achievement Challenge Brags Cheryl Henry wrote: I was given a Clumber Spaniel in December as a Christmas gift from a friend of mine. His name is JaLynn's Legend of Billy Rae (aka Billy), and he is 18 months old. I entered him just for the socialization experience that he desperately needed (was undecided about his future as a show dog). He won Best of Breed and then on to win a Group 1. For Best in Match, due to physical disabilities, I was unable to take him in. Jane Chavez took him back in, and they won Best Adult in Match. This was so unexpected. One of Jane's havanese won BOB and took a Group 1 placement. Junior news: Jessica and two of Jane's nieces, (their names are Ashley and Breanne) qualified for the Top Junior Competition. I have two more granddaughters that have taken an interest that also qualified for the competition. One is Kristin, who is 16 years old, and this was her first ever time to attend a dog event. She showed my Ch. JaLynn's Willow In The Wind. My younger granddaughter's name is Michaela, and she is 9 1/2 years old. She is showing her new Papillion puppy named Oreo. Aron is a daughter of Spanish & Italian CH Goldeneye dei Nobili Nati ScH II ZTP-V1A and AKC CH Kansa's Girls Juswana Havfun. Aron started her point pursuit with her handler Dawn Honaker in Feburary 2008 finishing six months later in limited showring appearences. A big thanks goes out to Dawn and her support staff for their exemplary care and presentation of our Aron

Due to the unfortunate actions of a few, we are asking that all trophy donation forms be returned with payment by October 3, This will ensure that your donations are properly recognized in the premium list and in the catalog.
