Attendees should take preventative steps in order to protect their hearing, such as moving away from the speakers. Cash only bar. The organisers cannot take responsibility for any liabilities or losses. Camping and parking is at the owners risk. 3 Festival location The event will be held on private land, in Silchester, postcode RG7 2LG. This will be signposted nearby to the event, but if you get lost, head towards Brickledons Farm in Silchester, Hampshire, and you will then see signs. An outline map with the location shown in green, is shown below. There will be parking and camping available on site. Site Entrance Car Park Marquee The closest hotels are The Premier Inn (Reading South), in Grazeley or The Apollo in Basingstoke. There is also a B&B in Tadley, called the Broomsquire. 4 Festival Information Facilities There will be adequate toilet facilities. This will include male and female facilities and disabled toilets. Alcohol & Catering The event is open to only over 18 s. If you are lucky enough to look younger than 18, please bring some sort of photo ID that shows your date of birth, otherwise I m afraid we won t be able to let you in. A licenced bar is to be run, selling beer, wine, cider, lager, spirits and soft drinks. Cash bar only. Alcohol will be served during designated times. Please don t bring your own, as we are raising money for charity so all profi ts will go directly to the Felix Fund. The drink will be priced reasonably! Hot Food will be sold (sausages/burgers) on site. This will be served during the rugby screening. Volunteering As this is a charity event, anyone who wishes to volunteer for serving behind the bar, serving/ cooking food, litter picking the following day is truly appreciated just let us know when you arrive. If anyone wishes to bake cakes or make trays of jelly shots (or something similar) any donations are appreciated and they will be sold for the charity on the night. Finally Thank you for supporting these amazing and brave men and women who put their lives on the line. If you do have any questions, just us at: Felixfestival@gmail.com There will also be food (bacon sandwiches or similar) sold on Sunday morning as well as tea and coffee to refresh any weary souls. As this is on working farmland, the land owners do not wish there to be any glass present. This is because it can injure the animals that have to graze the land after we ve gone. This will be strictly controlled upon entry and any glass will be confi scated. No open fi res/disposable BBQs or gas camping stoves are permitted within the camp site.

5 The Felix Fund The Felix Fund is a registered charity ( ) which exists to support any military personnel who have conducted or assisted with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (Bomb Disposal) duties, and their families. This includes ammunition technical offi cers, ammunition technicians, ECM operators, drivers, infantry escorts, weapons intelligence specialists, dog handlers, searchers or any other military personnel involved in EOD duties. The current focus is funding therapeutic normalisation breaks to help bomb disposal teams readjust to life in the UK after serving in Afghanistan. However, Bomb Disposal Offi cers do not just work in Afghanistan, they have worked in Iraq, Northern Ireland and of course the UK since the 1950 s. The Felix Fund are also raising money for welfare and rehabilitation facilities, and building a hardship fund for all. This fund will of course support the trade s many injured and bereaved, but also members of the wider bomb disposal family who have otherwise fallen on hard times. Further information can be found at
