ChiX At Deli Nature, ChiX is the collective name for chicken feeds. The X-line makes a distinction between chickens, bantam hens and large fowl. 4

Chicks need lot of energy and building blocks for a smooth and balanced growth. Bantam hens are smaller in size and therefore need feeds that are easy to digest. As you d expect from the name, large fowl consume a large amount of feed. These breeds therefore have a requirement pattern where adequate proteins and fats are a top priority. 5

ChiX Breeders Breeders set high demands for their animals feed and are therefore always on the look out for high quality products. There are breeders who keep chickens as a hobby or to prevent certain chicken breeds dying out. Bright appearance and outstanding health are top priorities. In addition, breeders like to feed the family, friends and acquaintances with farm-fresh eggs and excellent meat. Fanciers Animals are increasingly becoming a part of the family. This has been the case with dogs and cats for several years now. The trend towards keeping chickens as a pet is increasing exponentially. Who doesn t love chickens? You can stroke them, they re affectionate; they eat our table scraps and provide us with delicious fresh eggs in the morning! Did you know that a chicken can remember a human face for 2 whole years? With a little extra effort, you can convert chickens into the ideal pet. If you spend a few minutes with them each day, you will be surprised at how quickly your two-legged friends will allow you to stroke them and pick them up. They are a perfect way to help develop a child s sense of responsibility. The Deli Nature product range has something to suit the needs of both families and young poultry-fanciers. For example, the product range offers a delicious broken grain mix (the most varied diet to feed your precious hen). Deli Nature knows that the intake the feed is extremely important and therefore produces a tasty and well-balanced chicken feed. The necessary vitamins and minerals are also mixed-in to keep your animals in optimal condition and to ensure you receive your your daily egg. All of Deli Nature s poultry feeds have an anise aroma. Anise not only provides a recognisable fresh fragrance but also adds flavour to the various foods. What exactly does Deli Nature offer your ChiX? 6

Product range ChiX Start Meal Available in 4kg - 25kg This is a finely structured meal. Due to the tasty composition and its fine structure, chicks that have just emerged from the shell can digest the meal easily. The meal is a perfectly balanced mixture of the necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients. It contains sufficient energy, protein and trace elements to satisfy all of your chicks needs. In short, it has everything to enable your chicks to grow into a fully-fledged Bantam, large breed or broiler. Chicks that will be kept later as laying hens (both bantam hens and large fowl) can be fed with ChiX Start Meal for a longer period of time than hens kept as broilers. Bantam hens and large fowl that are kept for laying may be fed 100% ChiX Start Meal up to the age of 3 weeks. From week 4 onwards, laying hens may be fed 80% ChiX Start Meal and 20% ChiX Laying Meal or ChiX Laying Pellet (according to the fancier s wishes). From week 13 onwards, a ratio of can be given. As soon as the hens start laying (approximately between weeks), a layer can be fed with 100% ChiX Laying Meal or ChiX Laying Pellet. In week 4, any breeds kept as broilers can change to a ratio of 20% ChiX Start meal and 80% ChiX Growth Meal or ChiX Growth Pellet. Large fowl kept as broilers should be given ChiX Start Meal for a slightly shorter period. Large fowl, should be changed over to ChiX Growth Meal or ChiX Growth Pellet more quickly. This is to achieve slow but uniform growth. Slow growth = stronger and more robust animals. Further on in the leaflet, you will find the feeding schedules for the different categories of layers and broilers. ChiX Growth Meal Available in 25kg This feed is somewhat coarser in structure than the ChiX Start Meal. It is a balanced mix designed to ensure the uniform growth of your large fowl and a perfect supplement to fatten up your broiler chickens. This mix can be made available to your broilers at all times as you wish and therefore does not have to be rationed. ChiX Growth Pellet Available in 25kg You have made a choice to use pellet feed. The major advantage of pellets is that there is much less wastage than with a meal feed. The pellets have an identical composition and therefore ensure ideal growth, development and weight gain in the same way as the ChiX Growth Meal. Leave a light on near the feeding area so that 24/24 ChiX Growth Meal/Pellet can be used. 7

GalliX Gallinis is the Latin name for poultry. In The X-line, GalliX is the collective name for ornamental fowl. This group of ornamental poultry comprises pheasants, partridges, francolins, quails, ornamental turkeys, guinea fowl, etc. 10

Splendour and magnificence is a great way to describe this animal group. Gold yellow or quail brown, as small as a Chinese painted quail (King Quail) or as tall and proud as a Lady Amherst s pheasant. Deli Nature makes no distinction. We just want the best for your animal. 11

GalliX Turkey GalliX Turkey is the collective name for turkeys and ornamental turkeys. Our feathered friends can be recognised by their bare head and striking plumage. There are several breeds like the Ronquieres turkey, the Australian brushturkey, etc. One thing is certain: rearing heritage turkey breeds is easier than industrial turkeys. Breeders Turkeys have a higher requirement for protein and energy than other species. The protein and fat content is therefore higher than in other poultry feeds. Always keep 6 turkey hens per turkey stag. A stag s sperm is strong enough to fertilise a full clutch of eggs in one mating. Overly enthusiastic stags can injure the hens and even kill them. Young turkeys need to be raised in an environment free of moisture and drafts. As soon as turkeys reach the age of 2 to 3 months, they are much more resilient and they can even withstand a snow storm! Turkey hens are veritable breeding machines! There are even turkey hens that do not leave the nest to drink water, and ultimately die from thirst, they are so conscientious. Fanciers Turkeys do not make high demands and are easy to look after. What does Deli Nature precisely offer your turkeys? 12

Product range GalliX Turkey Start Crumble Available in 25kg The Start crumble for turkeys can be given for the first 8 weeks. The crumble form encourages intake of the feed and ensures less wastage in comparison to meal. GalliX Turkey Start Crumble has an ideal protein/fat ratio. In the first weeks of their lives, protein is vitally important for your poults initial growth. The high-protein requirements are fulfilled by highly digestible protein. The added fats provide the necessary energy. GalliX Turkey Growth Pellet Available in 25kg Change over to this pellet feed from 8 weeks onwards. After 8 weeks, these animals exhibit regular and problem-free growth. This pellet can be fed in the laying period as well as up to slaughter. For ornamental turkeys, it is best to change over to the GalliX Ornamental product range GalliX Ornamental Maintenance Pellet (see GalliX Ornamental Maintenance Pellet p. 15) Available in 25kg GalliX Ornamental Laying Pellet (see GalliX Ornamental Laying Pellet p. 15) Available in 25kg Always provide fresh and adequate potable water and GalliX Grit Mix. Water is essential with every ration. Grit ensures optimum digestion by your poultry. 13

GalliX Ornamental Pheasants / Quail / Guinea fowl Breeders Pheasants and ornamental fowl are often kept as show animals. The aim is to breed an animal that is as close as possible to the prescribed standard. Nutrition plays a crucial role in this regard. Keep quails in aviaries! They supplement their food ration with seeds that are spilled by the birds, so there s no wastage and great benefits. Fanciers Ornamental fowl, whether quail or pheasants, are often kept for their splendid colours. Furthermore, quail eggs are a real treat with an aperitif. Prevent young quails from drowning! Young quails regularly fall into the drinking bowl. Quails are not very big so water gets into their lungs and they eventually drown through exhaustion. A simple and cheap solution: put pebbles or marbles in the drinking bowl. This will eliminate the chance of drowning. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer for your ornamental fowl? 14

Product range GalliX Ornamental Start Meal Available in 25kg This is a finely structured meal. The tasty composition ensures quick intake by chicks. Even in case of chicks that have just emerged from the shell, a uniform feed intake is stimulated during the first few days. It contains all the necessary building blocks to make a good start. GalliX Ornamental Start Meal has a high protein percentage. A balanced supply of amino acid patterns (lysine, methionine, etc.) ensures optimum use of protein sources. Proteins are the building blocks for the muscles, the frame and of course, for a beautiful plumage for all your poultry. The necessary vitamins, minerals and building blocks are perfectly balanced. This start meal can be fed from day 1 to week 10. GalliX Ornamental Growth Crumble Available in 25kg The growth crumble has a slightly coarser structure than the GalliX Ornamental Start Meal. It guarantees optimum condition so that your ornamental fowl can grow and develop in the best conditions. GalliX Ornamental Growth Crumble is a balanced and well-proportioned feed with the ideal proportions of proteins, fats, minerals and vitamins to grow your brood of fowl uniformly. The proportions of calcium/phosphorous ensure strong bones. This crumble can be fed from week 8 to adulthood (+/ weeks) GalliX Ornamental Maintenance Pellet Available in 25kg When your animals are fully grown, change over to the GalliX Ornamental Maintenance Pellet. This maintenance pellet ensures that your adult ornamental fowl receive all the necessary nutrients. During this phase, the emphasis is not so much about fattening up and strengthening the frame, it is more about health and the general splendid condition of your ornamental fowl. Since GalliX Ornamental Maintenance Pellet is a 100% natural product, this maintenance feed can be given to poultry up to slaughter. When animals are breeding, you can change them over to the GalliX Ornamental Laying Pellet 5 weeks before the laying period, and during the laying period itself. GalliX Ornamental Laying Pellet Available in 25kg This laying pellet for ornamental poultry should be provided from 5 weeks prior to and during the entire laying period. The feed guarantees smooth and constant laying. The easily absorbable calcium in the GalliX Ornamental Laying Pellet ensures a solid egg shell. Always make sure fresh drinking water and GalliX Grit Mix is available. Water is essential with every ration. The grit ensures optimum digestion by your poultry. 15

GalliX Austri With GalliX Austri, Deli Nature has brought out ratite maintenance pellets. The ratites are the group of non-flying birds and require sufficient space to move around. They are omnivores with a preference for plants. Deli Nature GalliX Austri Maintenance Pellet contains all the necessary nutrients and therefore fulfils the ratites specific nutritional needs. Ostriches, which come from Africa are the largest and fastest of the ratites. The emu comes from Australia. The greater rhea comes from South America. Cassowaries come from Australia; these are more beautiful and brightly-coloured than other members of their species. Kiwis are an endangered species and are on the list of protected animals, they therefore cannot/may not be kept as pets. Breeders Ostriches are raised for their eggs (fertilised), their meat or for leather production. Always provide a shelter to protect the bird against adverse weather conditions. Non-flying birds can be kept in pairs, trios or even in a colony. The eggs are usually professionally and artificially incubated. Our climate is not ideal for ostriches to hatch their own eggs through natural incubation; the chance of failure is higher with natural incubation. Naturally, when the hen walks around with her young, it is a beautiful sight. Fanciers Ostriches keep your meadow clean. In addition to their concentrated feed, they eat mainly grass, weeds and insects. They have a gizzard and therefore stomach grit must always be provided. The birds can hatch their own eggs, which is a beautiful sight, especially when young ones are present. Always remember: emus need a water bath. Ostriches and rheas prefer a sand bath. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your ratites? 18

Product range GalliX Austri Maintenance Pellet Available in 25kg Balanced maintenance pellet for ratites, to be fed to them from 12 weeks onwards. Always make sure that you provide plenty of fresh water. Water is essential with every ration. The pleasant anise aroma encourages intake. It ensures ideal digestion of the food in the gizzard and provides calcium and the necessary minerals. Always make this available in unlimited quantities. 19

DuX In The X-line, DuX is the collective name for all ducks, geese and swans. A duck pond is a beautiful sight. The splendid colours and the variety of shapes means you ll never tire of looking at it. 20

Geese make a huge racket when a stranger comes onto your property. They are the ideal intruder alarm! When it comes to ducks, most people are familiar with the anatini (dabbling ducks), diving ducks and fulvous whistling ducks. But, there is also the group of scoters (sea ducks). Geese are more heavily built and their legs are positioned more in the centre of their bodies, enabling them to walk faster. The biggest difference between these and ducks is the beak, which is conical in the case of geese. Swans are graceful animals and are by far the biggest in this category. Swans are very loyal and they often stay with their partners for life. The standard varieties are white, black and black-necked swans. 21

DuX Breeders There are very different feeding methods for this category. There are waterfowl that feed on the water, while others feed directly off the ground. For birds that feed on the water, it is extremely important to use grain mixtures with full maize since broken maize will become mouldy more quickly. A floating/suspended pellet, is perfect because they continue to float on the surface of the water. If you have opted for a compound feed, please ensure it is crumbled or granulated. Meal feeds tend to stick to each other quickly when exposed to water, and consequently cause mould. Did you know that fertilized eggs of large waterfowl are best placed in an incubator (setter)? An incubator is an ideal tool for minimising the risk of failure during breeding and hatching. Smaller duck breeds are just that little bit more cautious with their eggs. The location of the incubator is extremely important, so do consult an expert. Fanciers Bear in mind that these animals like to be in water. A body of water is therefore essential. Ensure the water can be cleaned easily. Always ensure your waterfowl can get in and out of the water easily. Waterfowl are best kept in pairs and definitely not in isolation. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your waterfowl? 22

Product range DuX Start Crumble Available in 25kg As a crumble, it is the ideal starter for all waterfowl. DuX Start Crumble is more highly recommended than meal, because with meal, the feathers around the beak and eyes can soon stick together, leading to death. This concentrated feed is rich in protein and energy thus contributing to optimum initial growth. The extra vitamins, minerals and trace elements ensure uniform growth and development. You can give this feed to the animals until they have reached an age of approximately 4 weeks DuX Growth Pellet Available in 25kg A Growth Pellet that follows on from DuX Start Crumble, which can be used until the animal reaches an age of +/- 10 weeks. During this period, the young animals grow very quickly. DuX Growth Pellet contains all the nutrients and active substances necessary for the young waterfowl to develop a robust body structure and a shiny plumage. The ideal proportions of calcium/phosphorous ensure optimum growth and strong bones. DuX Maintenance Pellet Available in 25kg Maintenance pellet to be fed from 10 weeks until the laying period. DuX Maintenance Pellet has lower protein content because the growth period is over. This maintenance pellet promotes excellent condition and guarantees fit and healthy animals. DuX Laying Pellet Available in 25kg DuX Laying Pellet contains the right amount of energy protein to keep your waterfowl in excellent condition during the laying period. The increased addition of calcium ensures lovely eggs. The optimal selection of raw materials positively influences the vitality of your animals, the quality of the hatching eggs, the breeding result and the quality of the chicks. 23

DoviX In The X-line, DoviX is the collective name for all show pigeons. There are various breeds such as the short beak pigeon, heavy breeds (King), cropper pigeon, tumbler pigeon, etc. 24

The list of different show pigeons is very long. There can also be different colour classes for each species. A colour class refers to the fact that there is a different name for each pattern and colour of the plumage. There are more than 250 different breeds of pigeon. Deli Nature can meet all their different needs. There s something for everyone! Show pigeons can weigh from 150 grams up to 1 kg and can live to 20 years old. 25

DoviX Breeders It is important to keep show pigeons in top condition. The animals must meet the standard physically, and feed is one of the most important factors in this. With a relatively small body content, a dove has a very large body surface. Combined with a body temperature of 41.8 C this requires an enormous amount of energy. Energy that must be obtained from the diet. Two important factors are therefore carbohydrates and fats. Carbohydrates can be obtained from various grains and legumes. Fats are obtained from the seeds. DoviX show pigeon mixes offer you a balanced mix for your animal. Fanciers Pigeons are certainly not very demanding, but good housing facilities, daily feed, grit and plenty of fresh drinking water are a must. They also enjoy taking baths. This is good for their condition and their plumage. Do not leave the bath water out for long - to prevent the doves from starting to drink from the bath. Hygiene is obviously important for pigeons. Clean the cage regularly to prevent illnesses. As a beginner, you are advised to start with one breed. Also do not start out with too many couples at once. Visit one of the many shows to decide for yourself which breed would be best for you. Why not speak to other fanciers for extra information and tips. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your pigeons? 26

Product range DoviX Short Beak Available in 20kg This rich mix is specifically intended to satisfy all the needs of short-beaked pigeons. For this reason, DoviX without maize is particularly suited to show pigeons with light-coloured eyelids and light-coloured beaks. Always provide fresh drinking water and GalliX Grit Mix. Water is essential with every ration. The grit ensures optimum digestion by your pigeons. 27

LapiX Lapin is French for rabbit, so rabbits have been given the collective name LapiX in The X-line. Rabbits are very cuddly animals. They are soft and in addition to their high cuddle factor, they can also provide wool or be kept for their meat. Rabbits come in all sizes and weights, from the dwarf rabbit to the Flemish giant rabbit. They all have one thing in common though, they have a very sensitive digestive system. The stability of the gut is of vital importance in rabbits. That is why Deli Nature supplies fibre-rich feed! 28

Rabbits can be divided into three groups: Dwarf rabbits (for example, Polish, Netherland dwarf rabbit, Holland lop, etc.) These varieties weigh less than 3 kg. Medium-sized breeds (for example, White Dendermonde, Grey Pearl of Halle, etc.) that weigh between 3 to 5 kg. Large breeds (for example, Flemish giant rabbit, butterfly rabbit, French lop, etc.) Rabbits weighing above 5 kg. Deli Nature LapiX pellets or mixes ensure your rabbits are in optimum condition. 29

LapiX Breeders Typical meat rabbits are the New Zealand rabbit and the Californian rabbit. Flemish giant rabbits are not suitable for meat immediately because meat production in these breeds is very slow. However, these giants can weigh up to 10kg! Rearing rabbits as show animals and whilst maintaining some of their particular genetic traits, is not easy. Animals must meet a prescribed standard and this requires a great deal of patience. In addition to maintaining the genetic traits, the correct feed is also of crucial importance. Deli Nature provides feeds for all rabbit varieties: small, medium-sized and large. Fanciers Rabbits are the easiest pets! They require relatively little space, and they don t have the highest requirements in terms of maintenance and furthermore, they don t make any noise. It must not be an impulse purchase however - they are animals and they need looking after. Feeding and cleaning a cage can easily take up 10 minutes a day. Hygiene is of vital importance! Rabbits are versatile animals and can even be taught some tricks. A few minutes a day is enough to turn a pet rabbit into the best high jumper. Are you still looking for a more specific mix? Our Deli Nature Premium and Deli Nature 5* Menu product ranges offer much more. Deli Nature LapiX rabbit feeds contain Oregano oil. Oregano oil is an essential oil with antimicrobial characteristics. In other words, it suppresses pathogenic bacteria in the gut. Thus creating a favourable environment in the gut for friendly bacteria to build up positive gut flora. Good microflora Pathogens (bad bacteria) In addition, oregano oil stimulates the production and secretion of digestive enzymes in the body and supports the animal s overall resistance, especially during stress periods All LapiX rabbit feeds have a pleasant fenugreek aroma. This sweet-spicy aroma ensures excellent taste and perfect intake What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your rabbits? 30

OviX Ovium is Latin for Sheep. The X-line uses OviX as the collective name for all sheep. 32

Sheep are cloven-hoofed, i.e. the hoof is split into two parts on each foot. Sheep belong to the family of ruminants. This means that pre-digestion takes place before all the contents are ultimately sent to the final stomach compartment (abomasum). Just like cows, sheep also have 4 stomach compartments. Sheep are ideal for keeping your meadows trimmed and clean, and also provide wool, milk and meat. Sheep and copper (Cu) are not good friends! Surplus copper is stored in the liver and can find its way into the sheep s bloodstream. This excess of copper is fatal to the animal. Drenthe Heath Sheep are an exception to this rule and this breed even requires additional copper in its feed! Deli Nature Sheep Pellet and Sheep Mix are both without added copper. 33

OviX Breeders As with other park and farmyard animals, there are also sheep competitions and championships. These animals must be in top form to give their best. Deli Nature Sheep feed is the ideal concentrate for this. Both during gestation or fattening, each breeder will find something to his or her liking in our product range. Always ensure that there is fresh hay and straw to maintain good rumen function. Fanciers Ewes are pregnant for around 5 months, and lambing starts from late February until the end of April. Always ensure that ewes are fed with concentrate during the last month of their pregnancy. This will ensure strong lambs and good milk production. The fleece of a Devon and Cornwall Longwool sheep can weigh up to 25 kgs! For comparison, normal fleece weighs between 2 and 5 kg. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your sheep? 34

Product range OviX Maintenance Pellet Available in 25kg Concentrate in pellet form that meets the requirements of this small ruminant fully. Easily digestible proteins were selected for the OviX Maintenance Pellet. To ensure balanced nutrition, a balance has been sought between rapidly digestible sugars and starch and, on the other hand, slowly digestible raw fibres. This equilibrium provides good rumen function. Added molasses ensure a good taste and good intake. Always ensure there is sufficient hay and straw and fresh drinking water. This pellet contains no extra copper and is therefore ideal for all sheep breeds. OviX Maintenance Mix Available in 20kg Muesli made from the best ingredients and enriched with easily digestible grain flakes. The addition of pulp and lucerne provides adequate fibres to ensure correct rumen function. This mix contains no additional copper. Always ensure there is sufficient hay and straw and fresh drinking water. 35

CapriX Capra is the Latin word for goat. Logically in The X-line, CapriX is the collective name for goats and cervids. 36

Goats are closely related to sheep. With one major difference being that they require added copper. Deli Nature takes into account their needs at different stages and provides a suitable feed. Goats are ruminants, just like sheep, and hay and straw are a great way to keep the rumination process going. The best known goats are dairy goats and dwarf goats. 37

CapriX Goats and cervids Breeders Goats do not like wet ground and drafts. Always ensure they have a shelter with a dry surface to stand on. If sheep and goats are kept on a meadow together and cannot be fed separately, always opt for a sheep mix/pellet to avoid problems with copper. Fanciers A goat is a herd animal, so never keep one goat, always keep several goats. Plan well in advance to ensure that there is sufficient room, a shelter, adequate free-run space and space with climbing equipment. Climbing equipment? Yes, goats love to climb. They are real acrobats so a few beams and old pallets can work wonders. This will help to relieve boredom in your herd. There are 50 million goats on this earth. The most domesticated goat is the dwarf goat. The red deer is one of the larger sized breeds. These animals have a highly-developed sense of smell. If the wind is in the right direction, a red deer can smell an odour from 300 metres away. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your goats and cervids? 38

Product range CapriX Maintenance Pellet Available in 25kg Tasty and nutritious pellets with all the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals. A lot of attention has been paid to the composition to ensure a balance between ingredients that can be digested slowly, or quickly. The carefully chosen ingredients and the ideal proportions of calcium and phosphorous contribute to good milk production. Always ensure there is sufficient fresh drinking water, hay and raw fodder as the basis of the ration. CapriX products may be supplemented with SpecialtiX Herbi Pellet, which is the pellet for herbivores. (see SpecialtiX) 39

HippoX Horses are single-hoofed animals that are mainly bred as riding or draught animals. Their nutritional requirements differ depending on the life stage of the animal and the work they perform. We make a distinction between horses that do heavy work and horses that perform no work or light work. Deli Nature can also supply feed for horses with specific requirements. 40

41

HippoX Breeders Horse riders, drivers and breeders can all find what they re looking for in the Deli Nature range. Fanciers Horses are very demanding and require a great deal of care. Daily duties such as mucking out the stables, brushing, riding and feeding a horse are time consuming. The decision to buy a horse must not be made on impulse. A horse s accommodation is also important. You must either have sufficient space on your property or the horse will have to be kept at a livery stables. This will involve extra costs. If you have still decided to buy a horse, make sure you find out what Deli Nature can do for your horse. What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your Hippox? 42

Product range HippoX Tradition Pellet Available in 20kg This pellet is an ideal maintenance feed for horses kept out in a paddock or for horses that perform light work. This basic pellet contains no oats. HippoX Tradition Mix Available in 20kg As a maintenance mix with flakes, highly suitable for horses kept outside in a paddock or horses that perform light work. This Maintenance Mix contains no oats. HippoX Intens Mix Available in 20kg This mix is particularly suitable for horses that have to put in short intensive bursts of effort. This is a mixture of flaked grains enriched with a composite pellet without oats. HippoX Dura Mix Available in 20kg This high-quality sports mix is rich in electrolytes. It is therefore ideal for horses that have to make a sustained effort over a long period. HippoX Herb Mix Available in 20kg Tasty mix for older horses, retired horses, or horses that deserve a reward after exertion or a performance. The herbal mix can be consumed dry or made into a slurry. HippoX Breeder Mix Available in 20kg This mix is suitable for mares at the end of gestation and when lactating as well as for foals/young horses up to 2 years. A horse draws very few breaths. Just 15 breaths per minute. Every breath is taken through the nose since a horse cannot breathe through its mouth. 43

SpecialtiX This category includes all herbivores and zoo animals. 44

Deli Nature wants to be the best partner for animal feed. That is why we have taken great care to develop a product range for herbivores and zoo animals. Deli Nature can therefore also supply feeds for special species among domesticated animals. The X-line has developed this category to ensure we can respond to market demands quickly. This packaging is therefore the omnibus of all the new developments. Follow this product range closely on our website That way you can keep up-to-date with all the latest innovations. 45

SpecialtiX Herbi This is an umbrella term that covers all herbivores: llamas, alpacas, camels, dromedaries (Arabian camels), kangaroos, sheep, goats, deer, etc. Herbivores are animals that only feed on plants or parts of plants such as leaves, roots, seeds, fruits, flowers, nectar, bark (rind), wood, or vegetable/plant saps What exactly does Deli Nature have to offer your herbivores and zoo animals. 46

Product range SpecialtiX Herbi Pellet Available in 20kg 100% vegetable and fibre-rich chunks for all herbivores. Ideal as a supplement to the basic ration. This pellet mainly consists of grass and fibre-rich raw materials. Not suitable for sheep because SpecialtiX Herbi Pellet contains copper. The eternal question: Is a zebra white with black stripes or black with white stripes? Research has shown that a zebra has a black skin and the white stripes are parts of the skin without pigment. 47
