All the dogs who received awards at the January banquet will be mentioned in some fashion. If your dog completed some other accomplishment, such as a leg toward the next hunt test category, or received field trial or show placements, their name will be listed in the appropriate column. And/or if your dog accomplished something special such as High in Trial at the Nationals, or Award of Merit or some High Placement at a Specialty, let me know. I will need the dog s registered name and the name of the owner. Don t forget the In Memoriam category for dogs who passed away. To be eligible for this, the dog must have been recognized for a title in a previous ad. A copy of last years page is shown for the examples of these listings. I ve asked Vicky Teuteberg to lay out the ad for the magazine editor. After I gather the information and do the initial leg work, Vicky will need extra time to do the finishing touches. For that reason, I will need your information no later than May 15 It will be several months before the ad is published. I will contact you separately if I need a photo of your dog. 6 NEW FIELD CHAMPION AND AMATEUR FIELD CHAMPION FC/AFC OAK HILL S MOON-DOG-E Red finished both championships within a week of each other at the Heart of Illinois and LaSalle field trials this spring. At 5 years old, he is just coming into his own. Breeder/owner/handlers, Andy and Debbie Lewandowski, are very proud of him!(debbie handled him to puppy points.) He is a powerful, animated shooting dog who covers a lot of ground with seemingly no effort. His performances border on exploding - and sometimes he does - but when he gets it right, he s usually in the ribbons! He has no off switch in the field or at home. The final point needed for his FC came in a 33 dog stake. Red is 3 rd generation Oak Hill line breeding and OFA excellent. 2 PUPS STILL AVAILABLE Born April 5th...litter of 3 boys: 2 pups still available. Futurity nominated. 7 Greater Milwaukee Specialty Premium July 1, 2011 Below is the web address to the Greater Milwaukee Specialty Premium, July 1, 2011, the day before the ABC Summer Specialty. Included in the premium are the forms for: RV Parking Reserved Grooming T-Shirt & Sweatshirt orders Friday GMBC Catalog Ad instructions (Ads close June 15, $25.00 for full page with picture) Special instructions for Crating and Grooming Area Set-Up per Kettle Moraine KC: Exhibitors will be permitted to have crates at ringside. Those crates must be against the baby gates. Do not block the aisles and absolutely no grooming tables ringside. All crates must be removed from ringside at the completion of your show. The same rules will be enforced on Saturday. If your club is providing ex pens, you must coordinate the set up of those ex pens with me & my ground s crew. For those who do not buy reserve grooming, you must set-up in the Pavilion. Your club may rope off a reasonable size area on Friday morning for the Brittany's & your club must control that area. This will make sure that you don't miss any magazines. Please make checks payable to: GMBC Then, Mail checks to: Julie Asmus 838 W. Milwaukee St., I will try to post renewals 3 months in advance. Remember, you can renew up to 3 yrs. at a time. I would highly recommend this option so that you don't miss any magazines. GMBC prices were last raised as of January 2005 to $35 full and $10 assoc. (please note). This reflects increases by ABC and also increases for insurance, postage, etc. 2 years = $70 assoc. = $20 3 years = $105 assoc. = $30 Note: Please renew through me for GMBC membership because if you send your payment directly to ABC (because you received their yellow card in the mail), I won t know about it for at least 6 months since they are very slow with getting updated membership info to me; and then you will still owe the club $5 to be a full member of GMBC. (They charge $30 for national club and we charge $35 to be a member of the National Club PLUS Regional Club (GMBC). The EXTRA $5 gets you a lot...gmbc newsletter, hunting/field trial training sessions, fun field trials, picnic, banquet, and awards. Whereas $30 national only membership just gets you the ABC magazine (which is included with GMBC membership as well). Associate membership is basically to include you on the mailing list & NOT be eligible for awards, voting, etc. This is for the spouse/child if one family member is already a full member or if you are already a full member of another club and just want to be on our mailing list.
