1 Boondocks Danes Puppy Contract Contracts must be stamped and signed by a notary and mailed to breeder with deposit, breeder will mail receipt. (If contract is not stamped and signed by a notary, puppy will not be released). 2 copies must be printed and signed (1 for buyer and 1 for breeder). Breeder will provide one copy back to buyer at time of pick up. Please go over and read each section carefully and initial the designed area to state that you have reads and understand each one. TYPE OF REGISTRATION BEING PURCHASED ON (BREEDER WILL CHECK): LIMITED REGISTRATION THIS OPTION MEANS NO BREEDING RIGHTS. (if purchased with limited registration puppy must be neutered or spayed within 10 days of turning 24 MONTHS OF AGE (not before) no exceptions. Veterinary documentation must be sent to breeder within 10 days of being spayed or neutered). Papers will be held by breeder until proof of spay/neuter is received. If not done within this time frame and proof is not provided puppy will be surrendered to breeder at buyer s expense. A fee of $800 will also be due immediately from buyer to breeder for breach of contract. Time frame spay or neuter must be done in (not before or after): Papers will be given/sent to buyer once breeder has received proof of spay/neuter. CO-OWN (different options available) FULL REGISTRATION (BREEDING RIGHTS) Is very rarely given out but may be given to an approved breeding home. Absolutely no spotted puppies are to ever be bred with another spotted mate. If this were to occur there is a 1,800 fee due to breeder immediately, and puppy is to be surrendered to breeder immediately. DEPOSIT A DEPOSIT OF $300 WHICH IS NON REFUNDABLE IS REQUIRED TO HOLD PUPPY OF CHOICE. Date puppy will be 8 weeks old: Date deposit was received: Amount of deposit: If puppy is not paid off by 10 weeks of age, the puppy will be offered up for sale again. Puppy must be seen and examined by buyer s licensed veterinarian within 3 days of picking puppy up, and a copy of the report must be sent to breeder's mailing address within 10 days of being seen by veterinarian, or the health guarantee of this contract is voided. Breeder will make a copy for co-owner. _ COVERED UNDER 24 MONTH HEALTH GUARANTEE THIS PORTION OF THE CONTRACT IS VALID UNTIL THE PUPPY REACHES 24 MONTHS OF AGE. SEVERE HIP AND OR ELBOW DYSPLASIA (WHICH HAMPERS A DOGS NATURAL MOVEMENT AND GAIT AND REQUIRES SURGERY TO CORRECT). WOBBLERS, ADDISONS DISEASE, HYPOTHYROIDISM, CARDIOMYPATHY, AORTIC STENOSIS, TRICUSPID VALVE DYSPLASIA, MITRAL VALVE DYSPLASIA, PANCREAS Buyer s initial: Page 2 of 6

3 WHAT HAPPENS IF A PROBLEM ARISES? Breeder must be notified within 72 hours of diagnosis. Puppy must be returned to breeder within 15 days of diagnosis at buyers expense for replacement puppy (a meeting place may or may not be arranged with breeder within a reasonable distance), along with veterinarian documentation/report. A replacement puppy of equal value will be given from a current litter (if available) or a future litter. No refunds or monies will be given, breeder will not be held responsible for veterinary care costs and will not reimburse these costs. If a problem arises from a puppy from a co-owned litter, a replacement puppy of equal value will be replaced from the same or another litter from that co-owner. If that co-owner no longer has breedings available due to retiring females, breeder will honor the puppy back guarantee. Or Buyer may choose to keep and treat current puppy at buyer s expense and no replacement puppy will be offered or given nor will any refunds or monies be given. NOT COVERED UNDER HEALTH CONTRACT ARE NORMAL OR NATURAL AILMENTS COCCIDIA GIARDIA, HYPOGLYCEMIA, KENNEL COUGH, RESPERATORY, CHERRY EYE, ENTROPIAN, HERNIAS, INJURIES FROM PLAY, FLAT FEET, KNUCKLING OVER OR UNDER, BUYER AGREES TO NOT FEED A FOOD HIGH CALCIUM (max 1.6%) OR PHOSPHORUS (max 0.9%). 4 THIS SECTION IS FOR THE LIFE OF THE PUPPY Each puppy must be registered with "Boondocks", at the beginning of the name. THIS MUST REMAIN IN THE BEGINNING OF THE REGISTERED NAME. Buyer has 30 days to transfer the papers into their name. If this is not done there is a $250 fee due to breeder and an additional $50 fee for each month papers remain in breeder s name. If for any reason buyer cannot keep puppy at any point in the puppies life breeder must be given first right of refusal, NO EXCEPTIONS. NO REFUNDS OR MONIES WILL BE GIVEN BY BREEDER TO BUYER. (Breeder can be reached by phone, text message, , Facebook, or mail delivery) Any veterinary/vaccine documentation and any registration papers must be supplied to breeder as well. If rehomed without breeder knowledge or written consent, there will be a fee of $1,000 due immediately from buyer to breeder for breach of contract. If found to be placed/surrendered to rescue/shelter by buyer any and all costs incurred by breeder to get puppy out will be due immediately to breeder from buyer plus the $1,000 fee for breach of contract. Breeder knows things happen and puppy may somehow get away and be found and taken to a shelter/rescue by a bystander. If this occurs buyer will be given a reasonable amount of time to take puppy back. If not picked up by buyer in a reasonable amount of time there will be a $1,000 fee due to breeder, buyer forfeits all rights to puppy and any costs incurred to breeder to get puppy out will be due immediately to breeder by buyer. Breeder offers lifetime breeder support, any questions or concerns can be asked. BUYER AGREES THAT PUPPY WILL NOT BE USED IN DOG FIGHTS OR AS BAIT, OR NEGLECTED OR ABUSED. If this is found to occur puppy will be surrendered to breeder at the expense of the buyer with no refunds or monies given to buyer. A fee of $1,500 will become immediately due from buyer to breeder for breach of contract. Buyer s initial: The breeder does not guarantee size, stature, conformation, or fertility (if sold with breeding rights) of puppy. There are many things that play into size and or fertility such as nutrition, exercise, keeping the puppy parasite free, etc. It is the buyer s responsibility to keep puppy healthy for the rest of its life once in buyer s possession. Breeder also does not guarantee ribbons in show for any discipline. If a puppy needs to be shipped breeder only ships via ground, if a shipper other than breeder is to transport puppy they must be willing to sign an agreement stating that once puppy is in their possession puppy is their responsibility to care for (feed, give water, exorcize, clean up after, etc.) and that if anything happens to puppy they are responsible for any and all fees that may incur (vet, injuries, lethargy, dehydration, death, etc.). A replacement puppy or refund will not be given if an unfortunate event should happen to the puppy. It is shipper s responsibility to replace bought puppy or any costs buyer paid out for puppy and delivery. At Boondocks Danes we LOVE to get updates and photos from our puppy parents. It shall be governed in the state of Wisconsin and in the county of Waupaca if any legal action must be brought.
