Astronaut 3 (Jibrail): Beegu was not supposed to be here. Astronaut 4 (Taylor): She was lost. Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acting scared. Rabbit 1 (Darcey): Beegu tried to ask for help in this strange place. Rabbits: crawling, eats grass. Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acting asking a question. Rabbit 2 (Albie): But no one seemed to understand her. Rabbit 3 (Josiah): Some wouldn t even stay still to listen. Leaves: waving arms. Leaf 1 (Aria): Then, from far away Leaf 2 (Amity): She thought she heard her mother calling All: Bring-bring, bring-bring Leaf 3 (Elise): But it wasn t her. It was Just a telephone. Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acting sad. SONG Mr Lonely (Bobby Vinton) Kitten 1 (Casey): Beegu didn t like being alone. Kitten 2 (Rudy): She needed to make some friends. Kitten 3 (Jannah): And she did. Kitten 4 (Jeanie): Meow, you can be our friend. Kitten 5 (Joey-Bear): I really like your ears, meow. Kitten 6 (Isabel): Would you like to get some rest with us? Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acts excited, nodding.
2 SONG Soft Kitty (From the Big Bang Theory) Animal shelter manager (Aleenah): What on earth? What is that? GET OUT! Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acting sorry and scared and running away. Child 1 (Ilva): But not everyone wanted Beegu there. Child 2 (Tom): She found the perfect place. Child 3 (Serena): It was! It was a playground of school children. Child 4 (Emma): Would you like to play with us? Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acts excited, nodding. Child 5 (Kailoh): How about football or basketball? Child 6 (Max): I know! You d be great with the hoop. Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acts excited, takes hoop and plays with it. Children: Beegu! Beegu! Beegu! Teacher (Lucas): Who are you? GET OUT OF MY SCHOOL! Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* acting sorry and scared and running away. Children: Hugging Beegu Goodbye Beegu. Beegu (Tess): *Alien language* smiling, waving goodbye. Astronaut 1 (Alexander): Once again, from faraway, Beegu thought she heard her mother calling. All: Bring-bring, bring-bring Astronaut 2 (Nina): But she knew it couldn t be could it? Beegu (Tess): sighing, lies down to sleep. Beegu s mother and father (Robyn K and Cooper): *Alien language* poking Beegu gently to wake her up. Beegu wakes up and alien family hug each other SONG Star Man (David Bowie) Alien 1 (Robin M): Beegu told her mum and dad all about life on Earth. Alien 2 (Aurelio): Earth creatures were mostly big and unfriendly.
3 Animal shelter manager and teacher stand up and frown. Alien 3 (Florence): But there were some small ones who seemed hopeful. Kittens and children stand up and smile Alien 1 (Robin M): Beegu would always remember the small ones. She hoped they would remember her too. All: The end. Prayer/Beegu s Mum (Cooper): Let us pray, Dear Lord, let us give thanks to all our friends who treat us with kindness and love. Prayer/Beegu s Dad (Robyn K): Please help us to care for and show respect to everyone. All: Amen.
