2 September 30, 2018 Dear Dr. Ridley and the Board of Directors, The American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians has been at the forefront of veterinary rehabilitation and physical medicine since its inception. It has been my pleasure to be a member of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians since December Since that time, the practice of rehabilitation has grown significantly within the veterinary profession and it has become my passion. Our membership is diverse and we all bring something unique to the table with the goal of improving the quality of life of our patients. Rehabilitation therapy in veterinary medicine is still growing with new research adding to our body of knowledge every day. Continuing to learn new techniques and bring them back to our patients unite us and the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians has been stepping up to the challenge of bringing more quality continuing education to the profession each year. I would like to help our organization continue to grow and develop by taking on a more active role within the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians at this time. It would be my honor to serve the Association as its Treasurer and I request that I be considered for this position in the upcoming election process. I sincerely thank you and the membership for the opportunity to give back to the organization. With kind regards, Tari Tari Kern, DVM, CCRP, CVMA, CVSMT Resident, American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Pawsitive Steps Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine 1894 Star Batt Drive Rochester Hills, MI

9 Kathleen Neforos W 159 th St Homer Glen, IL kneforos@integrativepetcare.com October 1 st, 2018 Dear Board Members: I am writing you regarding my interest in the Membership Chair position of The American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians Board. I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 10 years and a Rehabilitation Technician for the last 5 years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to volunteer at the AARV booth for two separate conferences. I enjoyed speaking with our members and explaining to others the benefits of membership. I spoke with multiple Veterinary Technicians and Physical Therapists and a large percentage of them did not even know they were eligible for membership. I would love to use this opportunity to increase Vet Tech and P.T. membership in the association, as well as help our current members to the best of my abilities. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Kathleen Neforos, CVT, CCRVN
