The Greater Twin Cities Afghan Hound Club would like to send condolences to Janet Williams. Lloyd passed December 23rd/24th. He was five years old. Specialty Best in Show Grand Champion Sirae Inisfree High Velocity Lauren March 27, 2009 to November 29, In Lauren s show career she accomplished many amazing things. Best Puppy Group 1 in Ames, IA under Kalen Dumke Best in Sweepstakes under Harry Bennett in St. Louis, Mo. Best of Opposite in Sweeps in Memphis, TN Specialty Best in Show from the Juniors class in Memphis, Tn under Bonnie Visser before she was a Champion at 17 months of age. She finished her Championship the next weekend under Lori Wilson at St. Croix Kennel Club. She finished her Grand Championship under Bill Shelton at St. Croix Kennel Club the next year. She was Best of Breed over several specials in Rochester, Mn under Kalen Dumke. Lauren was lovely standing still but when she moved she took your breath away. At four years of age she Lauren was bred to Ch Sura s Hollywood Nights and produced 8 lovely puppies. She passed away at the age of 5 unexpectedly on She was beautiful and intelligent and the most affectionate girl I ve ever known. She was loved and cherished by all of us that she allowed into her inner circle. She is missed so much by Anna Tyler, Cynthia Byington, Louise Paulson and Lorene French. Inisfree Sirae Notorious Duet SC CA CGC, JOR received a V-1 rating as well as BOB under Ms Amy Gau and Ms. Jennifer Anderson. at the International All Breed Canine Association Show on 10/24/14 in Hutchinson. She also went Best in Show Companion for both shows entered! Tori is owned by Julia Callaghan/ Lorene French. Trace got BOS in Sweepsteaks at the Specialty, Afghan hound Club of Omaha in November under Ms Edweena McDowell Then Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the same specialty under Mr. Eugene Blake Then Chance took BOB at the Granite City Kennel Club with Trace getting Winners Dog. Julia Callaghan showed Trace to take Best of Winners on Saturday. Trace and Chance are owned by Pam Ristau. Prince became Champion Inisfree Sirae' Delirious Duet at the Wright County shows in Hutchinson on Sunday, October 5,. Also, he was Best of Breed, followed by Group 4 and Group 2 wins during the UKC shows held in Minneapolis on Saturday, November 29,. Prince is owned by Meredith Sabota.

4 Brags!!! Khaleesi took Select Bitch for a 5 point major at the Council Bluffs Kennel Club on November 22 to finish her Grand Championship! Khaleesi was #7 Afghan Hound in the nation for the AKC National Owner Handler Series. They got invited to exhibit in the NOHS in Florida at Eukanuba, they couldn't make the trip in December. Khaleesi is owned by Dave/Barb Plum. Introducing new Champion Trae Ch Inisfree Duet Treasure of Sirae. He is the first of his litter to finish his championship. He is a Lauren & Wiz son. Trae was Winners Dog / Best of Winners under Amy Sorbie in Omaha for a 5 pt major. Trae was WD under Deb Peterson in Omaha for a 5 pt major to finish his Championship. Trae was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes in Omaha. Trae is owned by Anna Tyler of Inisfree Afghans, Louise Paulson and Lorene French. Inisfree Sirae Duet Titan King s Ranch Tanner was WD at the Sioux Empire Kennel Club Shows on the 26th of October, under Mr. James Reynolds. Tanner is owned by Nate Wattenhofer. Inisfree Duet Sirae s Silhouette Sillee was BOB at the Sioux Empire Kennel Club Shows on the 25th of October, under Mr. Guy Jeavons. Sillee is owned by Louise Paulson.

5 Brags!!! Sienna was Best in Field at the Afghan Hound National Specialty AKC Lure Coursing Event! Congratulations Vicki! What an achievement! Sienna is also the #2 Afghan Hound in the ASFA Breed Top 10 for. Sienna is owned by Vicki Fagre-Stroetz. Paco was High Scoring Conformation in Event at the Afghan Hound National Specialty Lure Coursing Trial. He also won the Veterans stake of the AKC Lure coursing trial. Paco is owned by Vicki Fagre-Stroetz. Rory won the Field Champion stake at the Afghan Hound National Specialty ASFA Lure Coursing Trial. Rory is also the #1 Afghan Hound in the ASFA Breed top 10 for!!!! Rory is owned by Vicki Fagre-Stroetz. Kirat earned his Supreme Oval Racing Championship (SORC) He is only the fourth Afghan Hound ever to earn this title. Kira is also the #4 Afghan Hound in the ASFA Breed Top 10 for. He is also made it onto the OB Lifetime Achievment list in position 54. Kiratis owned by Vicki Fagre-Stroetz. Tango won the Specials Stake at the Afghan Hound National Specialty AKC Lure Coursing Trial. Tango also finished his AKC Lure Coursing Championship(FCh.) and he also finished is NOTRA Oval Track Championship (ORC).Tango is the #3 Afghan Hound in the ASFA Breed Top 10 for! What an accomplishment for a dog that just started coursing in! Tango is owned by Vicki Fagre-Stroetz.
