FROM THE SOUTH: Take Route 53, I-355 Tollway, or Route 59 to Army Trail Road. Take Army Trail Road to County Farm Road and turn North. Schick Road is the first traffic light - continue North about 0.5 mile. FROM LAKE STREET: Take County Farm Road South to the Club, or take Gary Avenue off Bloomingdale Road South to Schick Road. Turn right (West) on Schick Road to County Farm. Turn right (North) on County Farm Road. Continue North about 0.5 mile. I-355 I-290 ATTENTION EXHIBITORS A recording and event service fee charge of $3.50 will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This recording fee is to be collected by the show giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2 amended). The Show Giving Club assumes NO responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury to exhibitors, handlers, or any of their dogs or property and assumes no responsibility for their children. All Cash Prizes, Ribbons, and Trophies will be given in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for ribbons, trophies, or prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of the class is over. The German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago, Inc. disclaims any liability for cash prizes, ribbons, and trophies after the judging of the class is over. Absolutely No Trophies, Ribbons, or Prizes will be mailed. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. No dogs will be allowed on the show grounds that are not entered in this trial. All dogs entered must remain on leash, except as required in the ring for competition or be confined to their crates. Entries close Wednesday August 8, 2018 at 7:00 pm, after which time entries will not be accepted, cancelled, substituted, transferred, or changed. Refund of Entry fees for Bitches that come into season after the closing date of the Trial, minus $8.00 per run, will be made upon receipt of an original Veterinarian s certification to the Trial Secretary on or before 8:30 a.m. the day of the trial. The German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago, Inc. believes in responsible dog ownership. For your convenience, an exercise area is provided on the northeast corner of our property. You are expected to clean up after your dog. Scoopers are available at various locations on the grounds for your use. NON-REGULAR ES (VETERANS AND BRACE) The Veterans class shall be for dogs that have an obedience title and are seven or more years old prior to the closing of entries. The exercises shall be performed and judged as in the Novice class. The Brace class will be for two dogs of the same breed. The dogs need not be owned by the same person but will be handled by one handler. Dogs may be shown unattached or coupled (the coupling device will be not less than 6 inches in overall length).whichever method is used will be continued throughout all exercises. INSTRUCTIONS 1 (Variety) If you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, particolor); Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in., but not exceeding 15 in.); Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired); Collies (rough, smooth); Bull Terriers (colored, white); Fox Terrier (smooth, wire); Manchester Terriers (standard, toy); Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat); English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Bienheim and Prince Charles); Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2 The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition; Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3 (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list if the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4 A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
